Once a man, twice a child!
It's a normal human reaction to feel cheated out of a deal, especially when it comes to trading. However, we have to understand that trading is a profession (it isn't just buying and selling). It's a profession like accountancy, mathematics, teaching, medicine, engineering, automedics, programming just to mention but seven. As such, it should be treated without bias of emotion. OP, I used to feel worse leaving a trade only to discover the trade continued in my direction/prediction when I started out as a noob. In fact, it was like someone was stalking me online, monitoring all my trading moves and making me take the wrong route. Until I realized that was a part of me which never wanted to admit failure playing that trick on me. I have since learnt to move on once I'm out of a trade.

Well, it still hurts till date that I sold off my BNB when it was just $3+.

I have been investing in cryptos for some years now and i always have to fight a battle with myself whenever i sell some of my cryptos or close my positions in a trade and the price continues to go higher.

Sometimes i regret selling, while sometimes i just try not to look at the particular crypto anymore to avoid having regrets.

Do you also encounter this? And how do you deal with it?

Ever since I started investing and doing bounty campaign, I have encountered this so many times, the latest one is Amepay I traded it for only $60 if I only waited for 25 days I could have traded it for $200 or more, these things really happen, even if you did research, circumstances beyond your control do happen.

The majority of everyone who is here has experienced it, including me and of course you have to forget what happened and most importantly you sold it at a profitable position.
and such occurrences are common and if you feel dissatisfied with regret, you can learn from your mistakes and devise new strategies, especially be able to analyze and find the best information about the coins you hold according to your target and not regret what has happened, forget about and make new plans so that regrets don't happen again

I don't regret this kind of scenario because I didn't do wrong and I didn't spend all the money I got from cryptocurrencies which I sold for a lower price for nothing. I mean, maybe the market won't pump if I haven't sold my altcoins that's what I'm thinking. I remove negative thoughts on my mind if I got this kind of situation. You just need to take it as lessons because such things sometimes happen without us getting involved. Maybe next time if we practice enough patience to hold for long, we can have the same celebration as the others who managed to sell their altcoins at their peak price. Right now, we just need to move on and hope that everything will be good the next time we sold our altcoins.

This has happened to me many times before. It sometimes hurt me a lot in the beginning. It often happened that the prices went up after the tokens were sold, so I was very upset on the situation, But that's when I started working in crypto. But now I understand that this is a market and prices fluctuate in the market. There is nothing wrong if you sell them first and then the price goes up because you took advantage of it religiously.

This is another question " Are You Getting Mad when the price of the coins you have sold Turns another way ? I mean Fell Down Badly"? Better answer that then understand what does it mean.
We are getting mad when the price suddenly Goes up after selling when we must have be thankful because at least we earn because only Few coins Got Pumped after selling while majority fell down .
So the more safer your funds is the more thankful you must be.

for me nothing to get mad, if you already got profit its good, if you will think about it, it will only change your mood and make wrong decission from then on, we can't predict the price so there is nothing to get mad about, jump to another project that is promising, and take profit , thats the crypto strategy that is best to do.

If the price of the crypto goes up, we get happy. However it is observed that more often we buy the altcoin and its price goes down. That is the actual situation where most of people get mad and frustrated.
Being in profit is always good but how you control the emotion while in a loss is a real test for a trader and investor.

Common thing and this doesnt only experienced by you but all of people who do get involved with trades and investment on the time they do sell out where
the price had risen up even more which do really leave out that kind of regretful feeling and i do have the same behavior on getting mad just because if i
had able to held up a bit more then i do make more money which can be used on buying out my needs and wants.Controlling ones self in times like
this will vary on experience, if you get used to into this situation then this will turn out to be a normal or casual day when time comes.

Sometime yes, but I always learning for all that I have done. If I make positive decision preserve it but when I made a negative decision either the decision gave me a loss or didn't give me a maximal profit I'll learn it. I mean, I'll find all understanding about it, I'll learn how to deal with the situation and I'll read everything against it.

That is just a proccess, indeed sometime a human must feel everything so as he will be aware with what has been done. And I have a strategy to fix the situation, when I've sold the coin and its price is more increasing then I'll buy back, I don't care if I bought at the high price. I've known the characteristic of crypto currency prices, if the previous all time high (high time frame/low time frame) usually the movement price will be more volatile.

To the Moon
I consider myself particularly unlucky in how my trade decisions had yield.
Thought things are not going great and sold my bitcoins for 18K+, it was a 50% price profit anyways but had no coins when the price ultimately rose. Similar thing happened with BNB, sold it for $64 for a x2 profit but the price is around $300 now. Similarly sold my KCS holding for $0.8 on a loss and now the price is getting near $3. I am bad luck.

In a bull market, everything you sell will in any case be lower at the price that will be in the future. Therefore, you need to be prepared for the fact that when you sell a coin, you limit yourself in the growth of profits. In this case, you need to forget about this lost profit and focus on new deals.

You are not alone my friend. The regret is obvious when the price of sold token increases.
For me, I always keep myself firm on the decision to sell, looking at the situations at that point of time. So probability of feeling regret is reduced to a great extent.

It happens with everyone of us and its natural. It is similar to having regrets of not taking education more seriously as a student, because we know how useful it was but that is why hindsight is such a wonderful thing.

We all sell and buy coins which we could have hold for little longer and earned much more, my recent such experience was with BNB as they got pumped but I had sold all my BNB I held since quite sometime like months ago.
That is exactly what I do but I also learn from them as well, there is nothing you can do about a loss, or loss of profit at least, because it's done and it is too late, hell I could had tens of millions of dollars if I went all-in to bitcoin when I first learned about it and still hold it today, think about it, tens of millions of dollars, if I keep thinking about the past I could go mad.

However if you take that, learn from it, and build a better future, you could actually make a decent amount of return, and that is what I am working on, I am building a decent portfolio, that I own a lot of coins, and I am planning on putting more and more money into it, and eventually I should have like 20+ coins with 1k+ invested in each of them at least. That way I will not have to focus on "what do I do now?" type of potentially missing profits because I will just own them all and wait for each of them to go up instead of selling them.

Looking back, and thinking what should have been or what could have been, you will really go crazy if you do that. You have to remember, you don't have the coins anymore, so what good it will do to you if you change your mind? Of course, we have moments like remembering holding this coin, and now it has gone up, wondering if we hold longer. But honestly, it will not give you anything but headache. So yeah, move on and just make your future plans. At least, you can still change your future but you can't change your past.

I experienced this so many times, I even have one experienced where the gap is just one hour after I sold it the price jumped 10% highrer, my biggest regret was UNI I could have relaxed,  I have two claims if only I retain the amount I claimed in one wallet I could have relaxed now with the current price, but that's life in trading you really never know what's going to come.

I just let the frustration and emotions go through me because it gives me strength to hold in times when everyone is panicking. Just forget about it if possible and move on with other trades. The best way to deal is let it sink into your mind but don't let it affect your current trades.

It is common to see that the price of a coin you sell usually rallies and there is nothing you can do about it and there is no point in getting mad as i always sell my investment at a profit and i always have a target price before investment in them and then i will determine my selling price and usually sell them in slots and there were times when i completely sold all my coins the price rallied 100% in the past but you just move on and look for another opportunity.
