I have been investing in cryptos for some years now and i always have to fight a battle with myself whenever i sell some of my cryptos or close my positions in a trade and the price continues to go higher.

Sometimes i regret selling, while sometimes i just try not to look at the particular crypto anymore to avoid having regrets.

Do you also encounter this? And how do you deal with it?
I have a crypto mindset that "you cannot predict and dictate the market" so I always take into consideration that whenever I saw a good profit I take it immediately regardless on how big or small it is because for me profit is profit. I feel sad to see sometimes when the price pumps higher but I still look on the brighter side that I still get a good amount of profit.

Back in 2015, I sold some of my BTC for $200 per coin. I was facing some financial crunch at that time, so I thought it will be a good decision to sell some of my coins. I thought for a while. I had three options - selling the coins, selling some of my mutual funds or taking a loan. Finally I decided to sell the coins, as the prices were continuously sliding for almost two years. 6 years have passed and the current exchange rates are around 30,000% higher than the level at which I sold my coins.  Grin

In crypto the price increases many times after we are sold is normal, we don't know how far the price will go up, I often experience this, but don't be regret, we can buy new coins that have a chance to go up.

Yeah it is normal, unless we know some bad news on the project earlier than other people.
When FUD come, people usually sell their coin and others will follow. If this is the case, then we won't regret our action for selling.
But if the project is solid, we should become the diamond hand that able to hold the coin, not the paper hand because diamond hand always get much more profit later.

the verdict of profit taking is very very dicey and you cant really blame yourself on it. what if price dumps after you sell. ? this is also part of it. its just a luck to sell at the top but its imminent we are satisfied with our profit. but when selling your tokens , always leave out some portion as moonbag for future sake.
I a gree with you. when I invest in one of the coins / tokens in the crypto market I feel comfortable when the coin / token I choose to pump, but when I dump I only have two choices, namely selling with a little profit or holding out at risk. I once sold a coin / token when it was dumped and after that the coin / token was pumped back and has a high price value. but it's okay I'm not angry because it's true that everything is luck.

If after I make a sale on my kirpto money investment, if it continues to rise, it really affects my psychology very badly and I wish I had not sold it. my mind is always busy saying that if I hadn't sold it, my gain would have been like this. this is very false. We shouldn't behave that way. gain is always pocket-sized. Being greedy after taking our gain affects us badly.

I've been through times like that.
This is the fun of investing with cryptocurrencies, sometimes we panic and sell them but it turns out that the price of coins is getting better in the future.
Sometimes we are often convinced that the coin we hold will have a good price but the result is quite the opposite.
Investing in crypto does need proper research and learning from experience to succeed.

I mean as long as you make a good profit in your sale it wouldn't really that stressful when the price is still pumping since you already made a good profit, not really mad I guess it just kinda stressful not making the best move in your investment and a little frustrating.

The best move that you can do here is selling just a small percentage every time the market price is pumping, with that strategy could make a profit at the same time you could still make more when the price continues to pump and you could also hold when the price Is dipping.

It's kinda impossible to sell at the peak of the market and only a small percentage could take profit and your lucky if you did predict and sell at the peak of the market.

It's normal.
What i usually do is set a reasonable price where i sell, and once it's sold, i don't look back. Otherwise it's sleepless nights and regrets Cheesy

we know that the crypto market goes up and down and it will continue. Of course, many have experienced all of that including me, therefore it is important for us to continue to learn so that we can analyze the market to get the best price. the most important thing when the price goes down is not to panic because if we panic sells it will be detrimental to us. be a good holder to get the desired profit

I have experienced such incidents very often and my way of dealing with it is not to see the coin anymore and I assume that I never have it
forget about it and focus on the next coin

It's pretty normal, I have been through that stuff like a lot. I mean, we don't know what does the market reaction after we make the action, since literally the market could be manipulated by only just one person. If you are not that type of guy and then you just face the fact and move on. But still tho, you can avoid that by reading the analysis and technical chart to predict the outcome.

Yes, just to vent my disappointment with the decision I made and it doesn't make me any luckier than my friends. When the price reaches the target, I always sell it with a profit of between 10% and 30%, but at this time which is still the best moment for altcoins, there are lots of tokens and coins that fly high, even reaching 2x the usual price.

Everyone will definitely regret having sold DOGE at the price of 50 satoshis, and I am sure to regret that it must be a ghost who always looms over us and always insults us who are so stupid about doing the transaction.

I also experienced the same thing, even worse I tried to buy at a high price and ended up experiencing a loss. of course very sorry. it was an unbearable emotion. until now I myself could not control myself for a regret. trying not to look at the crypto market is good but very difficult. I think trying to find new coins is the best way so that there is no regret seeing the coins we have sold grow at high prices.

It is regrettable but mad, no.  Why would I get mad for the things that I decided to do?  No one force me to sell my coins and it is a decision I made myself.  If it goes up or down,  I have to accept it.  Getting mad will get us no where and might be harmful to our health and social relationship since it will affect our interaction towards our friends and family.

Every crypto trader, investor and holder must have had this same experience of selling then later it pumps, have been in the same situation alot times, and what I normally do is to exit their telegram group and try to forget I ever had such coin and move on, cause no matter how long we hold unto a coin we will definitely dump it someday, everyone has a price that they can't resist to sell, we can't always  have it all you know.

All traders experience this so there is no need to blame yourself or others, you have to implement every experience in crypto activities for the purpose of not being repeated in the future, true traders never give up and be patient under any circumstances to reach a new ATH.

There is no need to get angry if you still got a profit. Yes, it could have been better but remember: being greedy is a sin and won't get you very far in life. So as long as you're in profit (even a small one), let it be and move on. Good times are waiting you around the corner.

I almost never sell everything together, so I'm hardly getting mad. Max I'm going to sell each time is 50% so I'm always glad if prices go higher.
Maybe try not to sell everything at once, but hold something behind for the chances are you can't sell at the top. Same as when buying you DCA, when you sell you select prices, watch the market sentiment and only sell everything if you are feeling you have achieved above your targets.
