Lets take the following example. You buy BTC at 6k and it goes up to 8K. Do you sell 100% of it or do you sell 75% and keep 25% in BTC.

What are your opinions / tactics?
I would sell the my btc worth 7k just to get back my investment amount and 1k profit. And leave my 1k worth of btc in my wallet or invest in some alt coins with great potential. Also would love to invest in security tokens that will give me a passive income.

When the increment occurs will certainly be a good thing to sell. but for the sake of keeping still get big enough then the fortunes of many that do some strategies in the trade. many have sold some when it happened and holding a large rise in part to still be going on. but many also directly sell everything for the sake of profit in once selling.

Look ARROUND!
If you invested in ICO nowadays I would hodl these coins, but unfortunately, the most ICOs are losing their price, science they are going live on exchanges. I usually sell 50 percent of the alts and hodl the rest.

What are your opinions / tactics?

if my personal tactics is to sell 50% my Bitcoin, then i wait until Bitcoin price increase 5-10% then I will sell 50% again, but if the Bitcoin price actually goes down before the price increases 5 -10% then I will buy it again and hold until the price increases again.

In my case, I am only selling half of it only if i am in need of money but if not, even if there's an increase, I would continue holding until the market value hysterically increase such as what happened last year. But since at this moment the market is in downtrend, there'll be people who will not sell immediately even if market starts to rise because they would be surely wanting for more .

It depends on the market situation and on the coin as well. For example if it is BTC I never trading with all of it I hold,  only with 20-30%
For example last year when BTC start pumping I sold at $ 9 k with profit and then re - bought it  at $12 k sacrificing the profit to be part of that run and not to miss the train.

When Football meets Crypto
Quit tricky question. But for me particularly , it depends on how drastically the coin has drag me. The hustles iv'e passed through regarding that coin can make me sell everything and go away with my profit. However , if i see that the coin still have potential , i divide into 2 and sell some and keep some and hope for the best . However if i see , another bears appearing , i would sell all off

My final decision in each case depends on the specifics of the project and the specific coins. If I see the prospects for the development of certain coins, then I usually keep about 80% of coins for the future. If according to estimates and my research I see that a particular project does not have prospects in the future, then I can sell all tokens at once.
Of course you need to start from the features of the coin! After all, different projects have different potential! And may need to keep her completely! And some drain immediately at the first opportunity!

No, I don't sell 100% of my holdings when in profit. Generally, I sell 70% of my coins when the price goes high. And other 30% coins I hold again. Because I believe after 1 or 2 years it will go to the moon. That means the price will grow up again after a long time. So I think you should sell your coins when you get some profit from these coins.

Until the end

What are your opinions / tactics?

My strategy is to find a stable altcoin on a decent exchange that fluctuates, and then buy, sell and rebuy until I have accumulated a satisfactory amount.  I can then either sell back into Bitcoin and take my profits or just sell and get my original investment back.  With this method I have my original investment and some of the altcoins.

Well to be honest, If I can see that I can have huge profit, Im going to sell it right away, no time for holding if the profit is already in here now. Holding is only for those coins has less value at the moment. If theres a profit, sell.
If none then hold.
Which is what you should do, if you see an opportunity no matter how small you need to take it, that is what an investor does, I know this can be very difficult especially if you are a new trader but it's something that you will need to do if you want to become successful in this market.

I believe that there is no need to hold coins if they do not have prospects in the market. My universal strategy for all cases is that I sell half of the coins at once, and 50% continue to hold for the future. But my decision can change, depending on the specifics of the project and the experts' forecasts.

God! No way man. You cannot sell all of it. Act wisely. You need to hodl for some of the coins at least. The coins like PRG, ADA and EOS are  very good for investments but you must never ever sell these coins all at once.

why not, you can always buy back. not like once you sold off you missed the profit... unless the profit you made is cash out and spend it on other stuff.

I will not sell all of the coins if the price of coins goes up. And it also depends on what coins I am holding. If the price of the Bitcoin grows, I will try to sell 25% and the rest will I hold. Because I am sure that the coins could still increase the price. And this nice strategy which I think can make money.

There is no point on hodling the 25% if the price increases. Its better to sell all of it then buy again when the price got low. It will just eat up your time if you don't sell all of it. Give yourself some breather and get over your coins when you are happy with the price. Hodling can be stressful and make sure you don't miss the chance whenever there are price increase.

depends on when I am able to be on an exchange. If my investment is at 20% or higher sell it all take that profit buy back into market. if market is 5% gains then sell as many coins that fall into those gains.

I buy at all prices not all at once to be able to take a quick profit here and there

If we talk about my strategy of work, I always make a decision taking into account the specifics and possible prospects of a particular crypto currency. But in most cases I sell about 30% of the tokens received, and the rest I continue to hold for the future.
I support your strategy. I also sell about 30% and throw the rest in the hodl. Sometimes I guess such a sale when the price was high.. And when you hold the price fell. Sometimes it was the opposite 30% is sold on the cheap price, and after some time, that is hodl I was already sold at a high price. Then you need to be forward-looking coins!
