You can still be scammed through project's official channels, as the actual project could be a scam in the end.

That statement of yours is so true. I have said it before that not all projects are from the beginning. Some of these projects come with real vision and clear intent to make good impact in the cryptocurrency industry . But due to the hurdles and difficulties of new projects. They may try their best to keep the project going but in the end all their efforts fail and it will be termed as scam Project.

Not all projects are scam, some just turned to become scam amidst frustration and maybe mismanagement.

Almost all airdrop videos on YouTube are all scams, do not try hunting for airdrops using YouTube videos, those airdrops links in Youtube videos are all fake links and once you connect your wallet your tokens will be wiped out.

I would guess that there are also a lot of airdrop Videos on YouTube that are maybe not total scams but still not woth the effort. Those youtubers and influencers are doing this videos because in most airdrops nowadays you get the most tokens if you are refering people to also join the airdrop. So those youtubers get a big chunk of tokens while every normal user only gets token worth 1 or 2 dollars or so. I stopped joining airdrops at least 2 years ago or so. It is just not worth it.

Yes, it is better to search for airdrops through reliable sites. There are reliable sites that specialize in these free airdrops and greatly facilitate your work.
Can you mention one, two or some of the reliable sites? What I know is that airdrops can be useless, waste of time, not profitable even if they are not scam, but they can also be scam.
Try these sites give you a good list
https://airdropalert.com/
https://airdrops.io/

These sites, for example, give you a list of the best airdrops currently, but not all of them can be 100% reliable, for sure some are a waste of time and others are scam.
In the end, you are responsible for your choice, you should do your own research (DYOR).

Personally, I haven't been working on airdrops for a long time, because most of them are scam or worthless and a waste of time.

It is difficult to find the airdrop campaign now because those times have passed.
But you can still look for the campaign of Airdrop, which is still active, to get the reward but be careful if Airdrop asks you to connect your wallet to the project.
There is no guarantee whether the airdrop campaign is safe or turned into fraud and do not easily trust the YouTuber who invites you to join him.
So before you decide to join, you must find the information first and don't join if you are doubtful.

I remember when I join multiple airdrops back then and the result was something good because some of them really make it to the market but you really need to do things that are not good because you gonna sell them as soon as you received them because of when the others will gonna sell, the price will drop down dramatically and there will no bounce back. I never heard them recover until now and that's why even though it's not a good decision because we jeopardize the progress of the project, it's still good for the participants because they were able to get some payment for promoting those projects. right now is a different story, because I never heard any good news about airdrops anymore.

I never tried to hunt airdrops, most of the time it's pointless and won't give you more than a couple of bucks, or won't even give that. I prefer to work myself on my portfolio.

A friend told me of a telegram channel like three years ago, he said it is reliable, but it turned to be scam for me. I did not pay any VIP fee and I was not scammed because I knew already that it was a scam.

Working in airdrops involves a lot of risk, so it is better not to use your main wallet to get airdrops, and it is better to create a new wallet, as well as an email and password for each airdrop.
I will not advice that too, but not that you connect your wallet to any site like those decentralized exchanges, it is just to add a coin to the wallet but which might be scam coin, I do not see how it would lead to a compromised wallet. But I will always advice people not to joke with their main wallet, they should not connect it to anything or use it for airdrop.

I've heard some testnets on some projects, and they are paying the testers for testing the project. That's basically the new airdrop right now. It wasn't like a few years ago where it's way easier to register. Just fill up some forms, share or retweet some of their tweets and that's it. You're eligible in getting rewards.

I wanted to, but I don't have time to do some research on which airdrop projects are legit and which are not. Coingecko on the other hand, shared some projects that are making their airdrops somewhere this year. I will share the link of the article, and they also made a Youtube video regarding on it. Here's the link.
https://www.coingecko.com/learn/new-crypto-airdrop-rewards

Overall, airdrops are worth it "if they will pay the users or the participants", but aside from that, it is just useless.

Find the project team or the o projects official telegram group and ask them if they are doing any airdrops or giveaways, this is the perfect way to expose or know the truth about any airdrop campaign.

Let's be careful what we connect our crypto wallets to.
It's been a long time since I haven't looked for airdrops anymore because almost all of the airdrops I've participated in are non-paying, or paying but the tokens don't have a price.

Anyway, I've never looked for airdrops from youtube, and if I were looking for airdrops, I'd still do my research before I work like find the source of the airdrop and do research on the team, goals, concept, community, market potential, and more. whether it's from YouTube or Telegram, before doing this work, we should know about the project. currently, there are so many scam airdrops, so it doesn't matter if it's from youtube or telegram, if we just work without doing research, we can't expect it to be something of value.

Not hundred percent perfect because even though the airdrop was carried out officially by the project developers but the project could end up with a scam too, if you want to follow the airdrop where you are required to connect your wallet then use a new wallet and in my opinion it is safe enough to avoid fraud in the form of theft your asset in that wallet.

Yes, I DO. My best advice is to use low subscription channels. Those ones must share good content to gain more subscriptions and followers. And now I am looking at the MEXC Kickstarter, which needs $MX to vote for the tokens or coins and participate for an airdrop. I found a lot of good and interesting projects there as $AX, a huge DeFI project that aims to bridge the Precious Metals to web3. A

Aurus seeks to implement and create a more inclusive, reliable, and efficient Precious metals market by tokenization. At the same time, The Aurus platform empowers a global network of precious metals providers to tokenize their assets (any precious metal) and offer them to the web3 Community.

Although now i didn’t participate in any Airdrop, but if i see a project looks promising then i will go to participate but i never used my main wallet, because most of the Airdrops didn’t pay or SCAM, so we shouldn’t connect our main wallet in their site, there are high possibility to get SCAM. I think it’s waste of time to hunt Airdrops.

I have noticed that there is no airdrop like the way we used to see them before. Everything is changing and we are adaptive to it gradually. Don't be surprised that many of the cryptocurrency projects are becoming scam and if we don't careful we will have so many bad projects that will be making investors to lose money everytime.

airdrops nowadays in general aren't really worth that much honestly many of them are just getting advantage of you letting you do some complicated tasks for free and get free marketing meanwhile at the end of the airdrops where you're deserving of your rewards they'd just give you some trash coin it's ridiculous indeed but that's just how it works with airdrops nowadays.

Are airdrops really still valuable and earning? I thought if this was in the past, maybe it still is, but not for now, or am I left with information? because so far, I have never hunted airdrops again. The last airdrops that I took part in and made if I'm not mistaken in 2020 on a local exchange in my country and it was very profitable. but after that I never focused on airdrops anymore. so in my opinion, it doesn't work much.

But maybe it will be different for airdrop hunters who really focus on finding airdrops. Could it be that out of the 10 airdrops that followed, there was 1 that produced and was very worthy? It's not guaranteed, but who knows, right? But of course we need to pay attention to how worthy it is when compared to our efforts and also the time wasted. If it's not a problem yes then it's okay to do.

I stopped hunting for airdrop since 2019.  That time there are lots of airdrops that did not send their token.  They promise to airdrop some amount of their token in exchange of sharing their project on twitter, facebook and other media platform.  Then we have to wait for months for the airdrop to be distributed but at the end it is all an empty word.  Since then I stop giving attention to airdrop, though we can miss some very generous airdrop ignoring them.  So I guess it is still ok to be updated on airdrop but hunting them is just a waste of time at least.

Most of the new projects promised something good and high rewards which really raise your courage to participate and might invest but they mostly ended up breaking their promises. In their current market strategies, many had fallen into their hands and wasted their time participating and promoting their platform where participants are expecting reward money but unfortunately, these projects give only useless or untradable coins.

Should we still have the guts to hunt bounties? That is our decision now...

I only ever tried hunting for airdrops twice, and have received mediocre returns for my efforts and ever since, I haven't hunted for those. The amount of time you spend on research and actual waiting for the airdrop isn't really worth it, and you're better off exploring other options out there to make some quick buck. Bounties offer lower pay too so I guesd this facet of the cryptomarket is no longer profitable for the most part. But of course, if this is the only option you have in the mean time then there's really nothint much to say about it except that rates could be better.
