Yes i still use MEW but in some point there were a lot of trouble and negative news about storing your wallet just like the DNS attack recently. I’m planning to move it on a hardware wallet next time.
With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

MEW is the only wallet I have that accept erc20 tokens. So now that the hacking has been resolved, then that would give me a peace of mind for my tokens. Anyway I have only one wallet for every token to it would be hard for the hackers to take all of it.
I believe that MEW wallet is currently one of the best purses for storing altcoins. Most people do not trust this wallet, as they do not provide sufficient security measures themselves. If you still decided not to use MEW, then you can try using MetaMask.

I use MEW as well as a hardware wallet, Meta-mask and several paper wallets. I just prefer to keep air-drop coins on MEW or Meta-Mask. Any coins that i want to keep secure or HODL long i keep in my cold hardware wallet off-line.
Of course! In my opinion this is one of the most convenient wallets for storing the ethereum and tokens based on it! Yes, there are a lot of fishing sites of similar design, who want to steal your data, but you should always be attentive!

I am still using MEW. The reason is 1) I am using a hardware wallet (no chance for my private key to be hacked). 2) I am using the legit chrome extension of MEW, which is a offline version of MEW (not affected by the recent hack).I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
myethereum wallet is used as a wallet for paid bounty campaigns and also for investments ICO in the form of ethereum. I only use MEW for that matter. If I do hold and invest long-term outside of the ethereum platform i use the wallet on market only

Does any ICO support it? I prefer MEW since it's very well-known wallet which is constantly trying to improve it's security. They are learning from their mistakes and I can clearly see that they are doing something to improve MEW. Also, the fact of accessing the wallet with different methods and warning which method is safer makes it even more clear.
The availability to switch from MEW to Metamask is another option that can be considered as the security improvement.

For all the time while I use this wallet there were no complaints. There are alternatives, but so far it is the most convenient for me.
I agree, I'm not used to chasing the "best", if I am satisfied with this wallet, then you should not rush in search of the best. Use what is more convenient, but not better.
I still prefer using myetherwallet because of the fastest and reliability features, though using hardware wallet it's the safest way of storing coin but it's too expensive for me to get hold of.

Ofcourse, because MEW is the best wallet for ErC20 token in my opinion, it is familiar and easy to be operated by anybody else. I do transaction with lower fees and MEW is my favorite wallet.

mew is a wallet that is widely recommended by many people and we are also required to have mew when following bounty so I still keep using mew to store my tokens and I hope the future will be safer again
I agree, MEW is a pretty good and convenient wallet for bounty hunters. And its customer base is so vast that I have no doubt of its safety. No one will risk the trust of customers.
I still use mew now because I am still very safe by mew although many issues that preach that mew already started already many who want to steal in our mew but until now I am still safe.
I use MEW with login with METAMASK even if in last weeks I discovered NOKU wallet that is better if you have many tokens ERC20 because they are automatically recognised (All)..
I use MEW because It is convenient for me and easy to use. Very often, users are to blame for hacking their wallets. There were cases when peoples poisoned in bounty forms private key instead of the wallet address or went to unfamiliar links and got to phishing sites. I think a lot depends on ourselves, our accuracy and care.

I got threatened lately with the hacking news all around. I expect the thread to discuss more on ways suspected to be the link to the hacked wallet. I dont share in the confidence that MEW cant be hacked, Nothing online is safe from hack. We expect all website to have a precautionary measure to prevent such break-in and the regularity.
