I think you should not trust them. They can also be deceived as we are. They get paid for the advertising program. So judge yourself to believe them or not. Such a scintilla has already happened. 32 million $

I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.

Not really, been part of several cryptocurrencies which were endorsed by celebrities, but that hasn't got any long term impact. I think that's just for a short, "if posssible" pump and dump" scheme to make more people buy currency. It doesn't really have and weight behind it, so I'm actually now skipping those currencies that are being endorsed by celebrities.
Yes, many celebrities themselves do not know what they advertise. They just got the money and made an advertisement. Trustful people go and buy these tokens.

I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.

Are they getting paid in the same cryptocurrency? or in USD? Nobody will endorse for their valueless tokens in my opinion.

Celebrities are like expensive prostitutes. For the money, most of them are ready for anything. Therefore, I do not trust celebrities.
Anyway, you only need to believe in yourself and your opinion about the coin and its team

The success of a project has little or nothing to do with endorsement by celebrates except the celebrities are experience in crypto and blockchain technology.

I don't trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency, what i do is make my own findings, like what the product of the project would be used for, the activeness of their social platforms, the team backing up the project. Once i am satisfied, i can buy the coin.

That's a sensible approach.

Generally speaking, it depends on two factors I guess to determine whether celebrity's opinion is a useful proxy for determining if crypto is good

1. Whether a celebrity it well-versed and educated in crypto
2. Have they been involved in previous scams

The absence of two can be a useful proxy to further investigating the project

i don't believe it. many celebrities are used to speculate. before investing in coins, i will study the coin itself. i don't care if celebrities support it.

there are lots of celebrities trying to involve in crypto. the hype and the publicity is actually good for most of time, like in Ellen's show, XRP has gained lots of support way back then.

Nope, they are just wanted to sell their names to us, the cryptocurrency traders to buy the coin which ever be endorsed by the celebrities.

May be if know the project I will trust their endorsement, In trusting a project you need to look deeper but I think celebrities  will not destroy their reputations in endorsing a bad project So for me I would trust their endorsement  Wink

What you are telling is wrong, Celebrities only care about money they will get to promote the project, recently so many celebrities were caught when they promoted the scam projects. So i think seeing only celebrities involvement will not give profit, project should also be deeply checked.
It is best to check those projects yourself. If it is really good, the community will be the one to judge it. I believe that using celebrities to promote is very stupid and investors will be the bait for those scammers so consider and make the right choices for each project

Please don't be deceived, most celebs who endorse crypto projects are paid for that. Do not buy into a project just because a celebrity endorsed it. Look deeply at the team, product or MVP, project backings, Token economics before you key in.  Sometimes some scam projects do fake videos or lie about celebs endorsing their project in a bit to cause FOMO and scam the masses.

No, not really. Its an endorsement or an advertising so you don't believed everything they say because they are only after the sales or profit of the project they are endorsing. Also, most of them are not actually familiar with cryptocurrency so you can't expect them to be a reliable source, unless they are into crypto before the endorsement or they have the knowledge and skills about crypto.

I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.

No, they are being paid to do that, I will first look at the roadmap and the team behind it and will also check if the celebrity that is endorsing it is a cryptocurrency user and if it is not then I will concentrate on the project itself and forget the celebrities that endorse it.
everyone wants to be richest person and so if the celebrities will also think like that it is not their problem anyone be a cryptocurrency uses it not required a celebrity status so I think celebrities are also using cryptocurrency field for their development.

Everyone here agrees that it will not work, it used to work in the past but not now, this is the reason that there are no celebrities endorsing any cryptocurrency related project or any token that is attributed to one personality, because it will not work.

No, I wouldn't trust them. I trust only those celebrities who have an idea about blockchain technology and who understand what they are talking about. Everything else is just empty statements that are of no use.
