They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
These websites do not reveal the detailed criteria they use for rating ICOs.
They usually evaluate things like 1) product; 2) team; 3) vision; 4) general prospects.
In this respect how do we know whether those criteria are fair and unprejudiced enough to make an objective opinion about this or that project?

If you say believe it, I believe in the Ico rating, but I'm not sure if the price at the time of Ico matches the after-Ico graphics.

Not all of them, there are some rating sites who get paid for very good reviews.
There are some who collects payment for any reviews.
Cryptocurrency is very popular now and ratings help the ICO to be more successful before, but i doubt it now.

i trust in such sites but actually i think that you need to make a lot of researches and i would trust my researches more actually
right, ICO ratings are only a reference for potential investors or prize hunters in assessing projects,
for the problem of taking that decision back to the confidence of each party,
whether it will only depend on ICO rating, or want to do its own research on the project to be followed

Well, there are different, there are those who certainly spend enough serezdno work and issue more long-term projects, and there are those who stupidly for the money you will draw what you want,so there is a need to analyze and see what it is, and I particularly did not trust them!

I met a lot of information that ratings are simply bought, so I have minimal confidence in them. You should always check any information yourself.

On the sites of the ICO rating, I just watch them. But it often happened that the top-rated ICOs were like fraud. Therefore, before investing your money, we study the project independently together with friends.

Strangely, for some reason, many people trust these sites, because such sites can be compromised, you understand that investors can be bought for money, so I do not trust them, I hope that now you will treat these sites correctly.
i trust them but it is better to compare the information from different sites and make a research after that and see the result

Yes it is best not to rely on such sites, which are often rated and evaluated for projects is very bad, but should pay more attention to the white paper

I think that one should not trust ICO Rating sites. These sites overestimate the ratings of projects that pay them. At the same time, projects that didn't pay them don't receive high ratings and good reviews. This system is not fair and doesn't provide reliable information. I don’t recommend 100% trust in ICO Rating sites.

Yes, i trust some of the ICO rating sites because some of those ICO rating sites are legit and true because the experts people rate it. But some are not true because that are scam, and they do it so that the people will attract about the ratings of the ICO.

Because there're many ICOs now so at least these projects need some attention for people to look at. Among all the ICOs, which one would you pick to check the whitepaper carefully? Of course the one which has a high rate first, right?
So this is difficult for the project to get attention without paying these kinds of fee.

Of course not. This is a well-known fact that a rating can be bought. Therefore, I do not even look at any rating, but I am trying to evaluate the project myself.

It is not a factor at all I think these ICO rating are just like hyiop monitor where you will get good rating if the price is right, why not do our research if they know how to look for a good ICO so can we I do not even look how they rate these Ico in their list because some of them are paid and you have proven that.
Maybe should've renamed from ICO rating to ICO monitor LOL. If the review is not objective and heavily biased the rating will lose its point of existence there, why even bother giving rating if it doesn't guarantee the quality of an ICO based on objective review?
Every ICO rating should actually remain neutral even if the ICO they reviewed advertising their project in the website of that ICO rating site.

A high project rating does not give any guarantees. It is not known by what criteria this indicator is assigned to the project. In addition, experience has shown that even a highly rated ICO is often scam.
