Previously, I really took into account the opinion of all these assessments that exist today on sites like icobench, but in the end there were projects that still didn’t collect anything, because there were some reasons now it seems to me that it is still not advisable to use it.

I am not all trust the ICO rating site, they just review the project team, blockchain technology in the project, some ICO rating sites seem to copy the information from their official page, the rating cannot protect you avoid the scam.

Of course you should not trust the rating site. They can be bought, for a larger amount of cash fees. I think you need more confidence in developers, if they have a good positive experience.

You are right that you should not trust sites with ratings. I am suspicious of projects that are located on the first places of rating sites. Most likely they are deceivers. I try to avoid such projects.

ICO has expert reports on rating websites. But I do not trust expert reports on ICO rating websites. Some experts offer a faulty report to obtain interest. Investors need a different opinion of honest experts. Do not forget to do research. I do not invest in detailed research.

I think it depends on the case to evaluate the individual trusted ICO rating pages of each person. But at the moment I'm a bit skeptical because so many bad campaigns get high marks. It depends on the experience of judgment, but I do not trust statistics.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

Exactly not. Do not doing any investment with looking ico rating websites. 90 Percentage of that website is very bad and paid website.
You can not trust these website while you are investing. You need do your own research about icos and please do not trust anybody for your investments.

You cannot blindly trust any one ICO rating site but using multiple ones can be helpful to filter the really bad ICOs. Then, high rated ICOs can be checked manually.

I call it cross-analysis. this strategy works well. I create my own top-list according to the popularity of projects in rating systems! Then I check it one more time and select several projects which I like more. I use this strategy for more than a year, and there're almost no failures!

I do believe some of those rating but not all,  because mostly they are paid to rate their project very high so it's not advisable to rely on their rating

I trust if I meet the same ico in the top on different sites.  But even in this case I look at it for a long time, all the same scam is cunning.

You can not 100% trust the current estimates. But it's very good that there are several similar resources where you can compare the estimates.

I don't think that ICO ratings are an important factor in evaluating a good ICO project, the more important is the success of the project that the development team has successfully accomplished in the past. the practicality of the ICO project. The seriousness of the development team with the project is also an important part of a successful ICO project.

If you want to invest in a project then just rating is not enough for you , you have to analyze the project very much , look where they are ,the team and the white paper.

I do not believe in ico ratings, since many ICOs with good ratings have failed (not achieving softcap) or Scams, I believe more with my personal predictions. and if I'm still not sure I might ask for some analysis from a friend I trust.

I followed the advice of the ICO rating several times, and it turned out to be incorrect, even the ICO who received the highest score failed to reach the softcap, and until now I have not received a refund,

I have recognized that for example ico bench gives the opportunity to buy ratings. I prefer icodrops, there is memo "sponsored" in the case of payment of the rating.

Such a website is only good for you to discover other ICOs, but you must rely on your own judgment. Because they may have a relationship with the ICO team.

Yes, there are so many ICO rating sites now, of course not all good. You have to be careful, when selecting projects the better you perform checks resetting. You could see from the look of the website and look at the team and the team manager must be experienced.

I look at the information on these sites (there are some ICO rating sites that do not add scam). But I make the decision to invest in projects only after studying the projects.

I think that the best way to analyze this is with my own head, and not to trust ratings, a sufficient number of ratings are just paid. Better to believe user reviews.

If we have a lot of time to do our own analysis, of course it is a good thing, but if we are newbie then making some ICO ratings is more practical, I believe in ICO rating because they consist of a solid and professional team.
