you can depend on ICO rating sites a little, but not to build up our decisions completely on them regarding investing or buying because they serve the interests of some giant traders and companies.

I take into account the rating of ICO sites. but I do not trust them and always conduct my own research of the project in which I want to participate

In fact, I practically do not pay attention to these ICO ratings because I know that they are not done objectively. The most important thing is to study the project yourself.

I try to trust only my friends and people who are good at this. Since I'm a relatively new person, ratings on sites do not inspire confidence in me.

No, not anymore. I used to think that it was reliable but I came to know that they can be paid to give positive ratings. Which totally defeats the purpose. What we can do is check the community's opinion about the project, read their whitepaper, look up on the team.

It is not the main factor, it is one of the factors for good ICO, a good ICO have a lot of good factors, not just only one or two, but nowadays only few have achieved specific factors to determine a good ICOs.

There are alot of ruse coming out that some ico review platform are corrupt, they accept bribe to publish a positive reviews and ratings about ICO, but inspite these I still trust them because they are helpful just to be a reference on what ICO to be invested. It is better to have ICO ratings than none at all.

The trust level of ICO rating sites have dwindled of late. Many ICOs pay for good ratings in order to attract the attention of investors. I don't thrive on ICO ratings in choosing the right ICOs. Always make a personal research on the project by reading the whitepaper, website and visiting the social media accounts of the project for coherence of information provided.

I do not believe these sites. It seems to me that most of them lie in order to promote the project that paid money for this site for untrue information.
Not untrue but, maybe it's mean fake high rating. Dev ICO paying ICO review with high rating to the untrusted ICO review website

Yes, I still believe in those websites, some sites give us pretty information, and stable, I usually rely on the rating criteria of the rating page to choose the ICO for investment.

Rating sites do a very necessary job - they structure the information in a convenient way. They are very helpful in analyzing information, they are very helpful. In any case it is necessary to make decisions independently.

No, I do not. Now I generally stopped investing, many crypto projects, with high ratings did not fulfill their promises. I now independently study and analyze projects.

The high rating of the crypto project does not guarantee that this project will be successful. Especially it concerns estimates, which put specialized sites. High ratings are often bought.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

I do not trust sites with ratings of ICO. You should always independently explore projects and not look at the ready-made estimates that can buy.

When investing in ICO, you need to take into account as many factors as possible, because only in this way you can form the most objective opinion. Besides, nobody prevents us to engage in a discussion with the experts who assign grades at ICO Rating sites to clarify the reasons for placing a high or low rating.
