well if that debit card available here in the philippines well i will buy one to safe my bitcoins, bitcoin is the best bank for me so that i will buy some of that if that is available here, but where would that can withdraw?

Soon that will happen.Like a fiat withdrawal ,bitcoin withdrawal will also happen. For that some things should happen.

1.Bitcoin should replace the entire Currency System.
2.Bitcoin bank should be implemented.
3.Like a FIAT,Bitcoin also should be in paper form to withdrawal.

I see you are quite optimistic. What does “soon” for you mean? If it means at least ten years I might agree with you up to a point.

However, I’m not so sure that bitcoin will replace the entire Currency System, I think it will rather co-exist with it.

Bitcoin bank? Do you mean like traditional ones?

Paper form doesn’t sound so strange to me but overall, those statements seem too heavy for me as to state that they will happen soon.

some people are using bitcoin debit card, but in my area bitcoin is very new, still a small number of people are using it, therefore i do not think that in my country any person will be using such card, May be in future when bitcoin will become more popular then we can expect that bitcoin debit card will be available here and The overall fee is more important in comparation with price we pay per plastic card,  because that fees will pay every time we use the card.

You can use your bitcoin card in your country too !
Physical or Virtual Bitcoin cards are just like any other Visa, Mastercard, etc Credit/Debit Cards. You can use your bitcoin cards in all the stores that accept these cards. The only difference in bitcoin cards is that they loaded with cryptocoins instead of fiat, rest all is same.

Just curious how many users use one of these..

I've started using Xapo and its pretty good actually.
I can buy whatever I want with BTC.

They have some fees,I tried finding some companies with lower fees but no luck.

They card costs 18$,I guess it was..Actually all companies want like 15$-20$ for a debit card.
Which is a good investment..I guess..

Which one do u use and what are their fees? Smiley
Not really, the price of the coin is much too low for Bitcoin to get spent.

Actually, I do not like debit cards, it's a form of self-made debt, but it's still good for us if it can be used with Bitcoin. In part, it will help Bitcoin become more popular and more and more people use it for more conventional payment services.

How is it a form of self-made debt? In fact, I like debit cards as compared to credit cards because the transactions are real time and whenever I make a transaction, the expense is automatically deducted to my account. Unlike with credit cards where you pay at a later period. With debit cards, I won’t be able to purchase without having the sufficient balance in my account.

To answer OP, no I do not because none are available in my country. Perhaps if there was, I would have one because I’d find it convenient.

Some people i know had asked for those debit cards but somehow they had canceled those cards for out country soo we have no option besides exchange the bitcoins into fiat, i believe sooner or later someone will come with those debit cards as bitcoin gets more popular here as well, not all people interested into have such debit card.

Hello friends. Love this topic, good discussion too.

I found this Bitcoin Debit Card Comparison Guide. I hope you all find it useful!

I like the convenience that the debit cards provide, but I think it's a mistake if the cards don't say "bitcoin" on them. We miss an opportunity to show people when and how frequently we're using Bitcoin.

How do we get these cards to have a Bitcoin related reference on them?

About the list of bitcoin debit cards presented above,  is interesting.  The overall fee is more important in comparation with price we pay per plastic card,  because that fees will pay every time we use the card.

In my country Bitcoin is not yet supported in ATMs, so we cant use the bitcoin debit cards here. Also I don't need to sue it because I am holding most part of my btc earnings.
I use BTC mostly to make my payments online sometimes.

Yeah I agree and like the idea of bitcoin debit card but personally I don't want to have one because if I'll have one I really be tempted to spend more whenever I go to shopping as I know that it would be easy to pay. Well to think that it will take years to have a debit card here in my country as well as the ATM booths.

Is Xapo any good. I got in touch with these cards once I saw the Centra ICO, and I took some time reading their whitepaper. It was after reading it that I realized that there were many more bitcoin debit cards and xapo actually looked like the worst one, just looking at the comparison they did. Only accepted one coin, and had higher fees. Centra looked really good, and so did TenX. I will probably give them a try.

I havent used any debit card for bitcoins although we have ATMs here. Just not trying to do it yet so but planning on so that it will be easy swiping my payments and without cash in my pocket

Here in my country we still don't have  ATM because bitcoin is not yet fully accepted and the awareness to this is still few. And if we have that here as well as the debit cards maybe I'll use it for more convenience. Besides, it's not a credit card so I will not have a debt to pay. And if this will really happens here, using bitcoin for our daily lives will be a less hassle and many will get more curious and get attracted to use.
i used them both why? because thru bitcoins i can convert it to our money and have it deposited to my debit card and then do any transaction. if ever bitcoin is become fully or more accepted here in our society then that's the time i will no longer use debit card.

I only have heard rumors of the existence of bitcoin debit cards and am sure that such debit cards would be used in the bitcoin ATM's that are spring up in some places in the world, there are not even enough normal ATM's in my country how much more the bitcoin ATMs.

Its not rumour as there have been severals ATMs both virtual and physical which can be used domestically like the normal ATMs just that the charges might be on the high side. I am still wondering which country you are that in the 21st century, there is no abundant amount of fiat ATMs. Although, over here too, I have not seen bitcoin ATM machines.
