I am less interested to using Bitcoin debit card and feel more accustomed to using blockchain to make transactions. Also i think, it's more confidential. Btc i have not yet too big, so it is very risky to use btc debit card for me.

I haven't use one but I know they exist and the reason for that is because its more expensive to use when converting to fiat where you will have to pay loading fee then thereafter charge you for withdrawing the experience I have with my Payoneer card is something enough where I was charged for even checking account balance not to talk of a btc card whether visa or master cards.

I would really love to have a bitcoin debit card but sadly most top bitcoin debit card companies doesn't ship to my country so I use Payza MasterCard. Even though its not a bitcoin debit card, you can upload funds on it with USD and exchange it to bitcoin on the same site. You can also use it to withdraw your btc to a bank.

As a matter of fact, I use several. My country's government (Greece) imposed big restrictions on outgoing bank transfers and withdrawals as measures against a bank run so getting one was a must. I have also created a thread related to bitcoin debit cards.

Check it out:

I hade one, about a year ago, for most payments it worked fine.
Had in issue once where my money was put on hold, but it all was available again after two weeks.
There were no further problems.
Right now I'm back to using my credit card.
My coins have become too valuable to me in the meantime.

Just curious how many users use one of these..

I've started using Xapo and its pretty good actually.
I can buy whatever I want with BTC.

They have some fees,I tried finding some companies with lower fees but no luck.

They card costs 18$,I guess it was..Actually all companies want like 15$-20$ for a debit card.
Which is a good investment..I guess..

Which one do u use and what are their fees? Smiley

Im not really aware that there are such debit cards that use bitcoin. Mkst likely with xapo, it converts btc to fiat when you do the purxhase. It's not really that much well kniwn yet though i'd love to have a debit card that uses btc so i can use my own btcs for purchase. It's just nit available from my location and i don't think it is available in mkst countries also

Who are the card issuers for the MasterCard version of these bitcoin debit cards?
I know Gibraltar is for Visa ones.

Are there any that don't charge you monthly to not have a balance on the card?
I can understand if you do but if I want to keep it dormant until I need it then this does not make sense. I just want to have the card ready and waiting for when I want to start using it.

Yes for Visa they are isssued from Gilbraltar. From what i noticed, for Mastercard they are issued from Wave Crest Holding. But i know only two sites having Mastercard that you can load with bitcoin. Avirexapp and Advcash. I own one from Advcash and it was coming from Germany. They don't charge monthly or annual fees for their card and the price is 5$. They also offer VCC for 1$ if i remember. They have a 3,000 USD/EUR daily limit for ATM cash withdrawals

Bitcoin in my country are still banned and no one has used it officially as a means of payment. No news as to tell that there are outlets that accepted bitcoin. This ia because peoples knows bitcoin is still scarce. If I have a debit card bitcoin, of course, is not useful, so I do not have a debit card bitcoin.
That is very bad for your country that your country have banned bitcoin I think they do not know the benefits of bitcoin. According to my views if a country will deny their citizens from bitcoin then they are indirectly denying their people from the development and success.

XAPO is making ways to make their wallet more usable by their holders, tho it is a good strategy, but it will make the users to spend more, anyway who does not want to  try to spend their bitcoin in public.
I agree with you buddy, they are making way to earn more from their users by using the fees charge,
Though it was a nice strategy for those business minded, but to the users you cannot save that easy if you got an option of having this debit card.

Well good for you that kind of service in xapo, and it can an edge to you too. But sad in my part here in my place bitcoin is that popular for now only few people I know or familiar with this things. Hoping in the near future or before end of this year my country will become open into bitcoin.

We all know that Bitcoin debit card is not just a debit card like all the original debit cards, we can say that all original debit cards are not just debit cards. We can see that debit cards from other company have hidden charges, but we cannot all see it. Just like on bitcoin debit card, we cannot see what will be the hidden charges will be ?

I'm not using bitcoin debit card  or planning to have one. I don't like the idea of spending with debit card and have to pay high fees, remind me of conventional bank service which I don't like it in the first place. Depends on the FAQ to use the debit card, unfortunately I can't say too much as I don't know for sure, but if the idea similar to bank debit card, then it's not worth, at least for me.
Same here. I hate the high fees associated with most of the bitcoin debit cards. In my personal opinion, bitcoin debit cards are out of basic concepts of bitcoin system like we are selling bitcoins for the purposes of spending them. Even we are using bitcoins through debit cards it is equivalent to selling, I am really against it.

I use Xapo, I have used it for something like a month or two now, and I have to say it is a pretty good investment in my opinion and I haven't had any issues using it with any of my purchases. The only thing I don't like about it are the spending limits without identification verification, but that does make sense for a fair number of reasons, and I do respect their need for the verification.

Are there any legit bitcoin debit cards?

I remember a few years ago the only website claiming to have a BTC debit card was owned and run by Moriarty, a known scammer.

Has that changed?

 Huh

I do not use any bitcoin debit card because till now I did not feel the use of bitcoin debit card because I do not do shopping from those places where a debit card is used so whenever I need some money I withdraw my money using my bank account while in some times I use my bitcoins directly from my wallet.
