Lucky for me, I've never drank alcohol. I'm in my mid-twenties.
I avoided drinking to much I know full well that is not good for me. I only drink on special occasion.
You could think like this about most things... drink, drugs, smoking, junk food, clothes etc etc. We sadly waste a lot of money on crap.

Haha, not drinking is not magical to get wealthy; what is the problem in your case?
Had a good laugh though. 
I became alcoholic for 2 years because of depression. Fortunate I'm ok now and I'm not a heavy drinker anymore.

Wouldn't your life be better? How much did you spend on alcohol? Imagine you invested this money or started a business with it?
If you never had any alcohol you would have avoided many mistakes, work harder and more easily, you would be smarter, richer, more healthy and with better friends
