I also have an order for the second batch, order # in the high 1800's, and it still shows as processing. My guess is that they'll ship on the last possible date in April! Good luck and keep us posted. I'll post if I receive a tracking number.

Hi guys,

Did anyone received yet tracking numbers or machines themselves for batch 2? I got "DragonMint 16T Miner (April Batch 2) × 5" and it's still showing as "processing".

Last time I sent them (myrig) a hashboard for repair they let me know right away that they had received it and then crickets for over a week.  Then I started pinging them every few days and either got no response or time wasting responses like "I'll ask the tech" or "I'll ask the tech again".  In the end they had the thing for a month, said I had run it in a too hot environment (suspiciously the exact same thing they have told me all three times I have used them even though I have always run all of my asics in climate controlled environments) and then finally said it couldn't be fixed and sent me back a board that was missing various heatsinks. Was it my original board or just some other random board they sent to make me leave them alone?  I have no idea.  Not a fan!  

Just in what I listed above; the tuning algorithm is improved. I get 13.7TH at 1260W (at the wall) in efficient mode; enough to run it with a 1250W PSU now.

Thought I would leave a post regarding my experience with Halong and MyRig's customer support (it hasn't been positive).

Upon receiving my 5x T1's, I noticed two of them had seemingly defective hashboards (one on each, chain 1 wasn't appearing on either miner and they were only pulling 2/3rd wattage). I sent an e-mail to Halong letting them know the issue and they suggested I try the new firmware update, which I did, but continued to have the same issue. After going back and fourth a bit they finally suggested I reach out to MyRig.com and submit a ticket for repair. I e-mailed MyRig over a week ago with all of the pertinent information. After a bunch of back and fourth they agreed to pay the return shipping to have both miners sent back for repair. They gave me the address and told me they'd send the UPS labels shortly after. That was about 4 days ago and have yet to get a response, even after sending them 2 additional e-mails. Needless to say I'm extremely frustrated, having waited several months to receive these just to have 2x not working properly. Then on top of that getting the run around from the service department. I will keep everyone posted on what happens. Hoping someone from MyRig sees this post and expedites the request.

Under the line why expect different designs like in the first days of ASICs?
We have the ATX standard for power supplies and chassis.
Its great if an industry is finding an almost standard design itself. (or because its just working fu...nny good!)
Or in other words: Find a hosting place for a T1, S9, L3+ etc. -- easy. Find a place for a E3, A6 or other -non-standard-asics- ... sorry, no GPU rigs and no special chassis like the ASIC of Bitmain for Ethereum has or the double litcoiner of Inno (A6).

All parts of Bitmain, Inno, Halong are not a secret. You can freely buy them on the chinese market (eg Alibaba) and build your own Asic with own controlling board and ... well ... no chips

Just the chip design and the quality of assembling everything to a ready ASIC is important.
Why write a new firmware if there is a free to use firmware on github or sourceforge for everyone?

Even Bitmain did not developed everything on their machines on its own.
Obelisk, Avalon - that are machines I think on that they differ from the standard chassis we know today.

If I would start the idea of an own mining machine operation I would start to find as many parts as possible which are already proofen perfect.
Then you can concentrate of what is important.

And that is what we, the customer at the end, needs.
Not a new design on the Asic or Firmware. We need the chip design and Halongs 10nm chips from Samsung are tasting nice, arent they?

But I am pretty sure Bitmain will follow the 10nm way soon and 7nm is knocking on the door for stable and affordable mass production

Should give a bit more hashrate in balanced (though more power draw) and may have ever so slightly better efficiency in efficient mode.

No idea, but as I said they're meant to be run in the 75 degree range. There is no point comparing different designs when the fan control is trying to keep them warm.

Yes, this is with the old firmware. I have not upgraded the firmware on all of them. But the T1's still run hotter than the S9 comparatively. Do you know what is the max temps of the chips that can go without failing?

Was this with the old firmware? I completely revamped the fan control. If the temps are above 75 degrees and the fan is showing 100% on the interface then you have a problem.

For some reason mine are running in their mid 80's even with the inside temp of 12 C. All the S9's are running fine with temps but these are just hot hot already. I wonder what will happen in the summers. I haven't figured that out yet but I am concerned. Thanks.

That would not surprise me. Inno is mainly a custom IC design house and got into the crypto coin biz when Bitmine.ch hired them to design the A1 chip back in 2013. Despite the Bitmine.ch/AMT debacle they saw Gold in them thar chips which led to them doing the A2 script ASIC and others. Spinning off actual miner making to others like Halong makes sense to let them get back to their roots.

I was about to post the same; these newly released Blake miners have the exact same specs as the Halong counterparts.  Never mind the fact that they look the exactly the same, too.

At this point I wonder if Inno is going to spin off their crypto business.  They build other electronic devices as well, perhaps this is a move to "realign" both brands.

I shot them an email to pick their brain, we'll see if they respond!

These miners have surprisingly exact same design and exact same technical specifications as the Dragonmint altcoin miners.

Note there's a bug in that testing firmware whereby values are stored after an efficient run are then used in balance mode altering where balanced mode ends up. There should be a new testing firmware out soon which squeezes a tiny bit more efficiency out. I'll post a link when it's available. The efficient mode will drop power usage further but sacrifice hashrate a bit too as it tries to find the optimum efficiency point.

One of my five prefers the mid speed setting. The other four are on low speed
