Well We knew how Superbowl is the most celebrated event in Sports nowadays (At least in USA of course ) so betting that amount from a Super Celebrity like drake is expected.
and besides this is just a small amount for Him( not from us because 1.3 million is our whole living to the next generation lol) I am also a American Football fan and if given a chance to have this amount for Betting? surely i will gladly do the same.

While spending $200.000 in a single night at the casino would represent a great problem for many people, Drake doesn’t really mind doing so. Even though he lost 3 times the US annual median household income in the span of a few hours, the rapper still made more money than he lost.

Drake loses $200K while gambling in Atlantic City

Gambling! What else to say about it! We all have good and bad days in gambling and Drake is no exception! He gambles with a huge bankroll, so it's pretty normal that his wins are insanely big, but we all know that in gambling that goes both ways, his losses are also insanely big!
On the other topic, I said he will continue to gamble, and that happened, luckily this time his loss is lower than his previous wins!

I am not sure that this wagering deserves another thread! Rapper wins 1,3M$ - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/rapper-wins-13m-5385432 is locked, probably we can't add more to this highroller gambling session, but we can try to bet what will happen with his next bets, will he be lucky again or he will lose everything he won!?
It is hard if we want to bet what will happen with his next bet because everything can be possible. Maybe he will lose this time, but there is no guarantee he will lose the next bet. If the amount is not too big, I think people want to bet on him but let's see it later.

Drake has a lot of money to bet using any money he has. I wonder if he regrets placing such big money and will not place another bet. But I guess he will not stop because he will want to recover from his loss. It is normal if he thinks like that.

Wow, great strategy by stake, I'm sure there's a little promotion happening here, if I'm mistaken, then I should say that stake is just a good sportsbook that a celebrity was able to trust them with his million-dollar bet. More crypto gambling sites having this kind of promotion would be better, bettors all over the world would understand how easy it is to gamble using bitcoin.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
It's been a big trend on social media since the Canadian shared his bet slips containing how much he staked on the super bowl in bitcoin. And how much he will receive in bitcoin if the Rams defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in Los Angeles, which is about $2.29 million in bitcoin. The betting industry has a great acceptance of bitcoin. He made other stakes using bitcoin as well. But, what matters is how more celebrities with big fan Bases promote bitcoin. It's such a better way of increasing the usage of bitcoin in Betting Firms.

I come across a several thread yesterday about this wagering but It did not mentioned the name and now it is clear that this is a famous artist Drake.

Well We knew drake is a crypto supporter for years now and also involved in gambling activities.

So I'm sure this is just a peanut betting that amount either to win or lose , because million is just a small fraction of His total wealth .

This strikes me as one of those cases where it is essentially undisclosed advertising. I'm not sure whether Drake has any sort of declared relationship with Stake.com or explicitly tags his posts as adverts, but I am assuming not. However it strikes me as, even with all his existing wealth, possible that he may have an undeclared agreement to do this sort of advertising - especially with just how prominent Stake is on that little snippet (regardless of whether that is a standard betting slip layout, it is perfectly engineered to display their site dead center). He could have just come out and said "I've placed this bet" and his fans would believe it, to go the extra mile and post the betslip from a specific site is really sneaky and some people are maybe not too responsible with how they release information to fans.

And I thought Drake already won that one we have one thread about Drake putting a bet on Stake.com this one is better it's coming from a very popular media NYPOST I'm not a big fan of the superbowl but it's worth watching if Drake is going to win and I hope to win so he can invite people to bet using Cryptocurrency, there's really big buzz whenever celebrities are making a move in Cryptocurrency, it's good news for Stake.com this is free marketing for them.

If I'm not mistaken, the game between Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams is yet to be played. It is scheduled for tomorrow.

We will see whether Drake's million will give him another million or will vanish into thin air. Either way, he is indeed making Bitcoin a little more popular with this bet. Somebody who is not yet into Bitcoin who is an avid fan of Drake and who has heard of this will probably do some searching about this controversial currency.

That's what gambling is, this guy know that stakes, and he has a money to but so better gamble it and make more money.

New York Post writing about it is even publicity for Bitcoin.

Right, mainstream media likes this kind of news, regardless of what the subject is. And since this is for bitcoin then this is a big publicity to all of us. And we need this kind of publicity, not those negative news or write up that doesn't have any source.

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
This is not the first time Drake is betting a huge amount of money in fact he losses a lot in the past, he looks like he is a compulsive gambler and doesn't mind the amount of money he is betting because he can easily earn that amount, but he does have a risky behavior when it comes to money.
With him betting via Bitcoin there's a possibility that he is also investing in Cryptocurrency.
Definitely Drake is a Bitcoin holdler, using Bitcoin for gambling significantly indicated this, only bitcoin users can do that and most bitcoin users are hodling Bitcoin. I would have wished to know when he possibly started to know about Bitcoin, your news link was mid 2020, which means he even take part in the bull run.

I have not known about this before, this is the first time, though I read about this second one, I hope he wins, but how about if he lose the money, it is not going to be happy about it even if he sees the money easily, losing $200000 is not easy. I know this will help in making crypto gambling industrues to be known more to the public but the amount is too high for me.

From the betting slip that you included in your OP, it was $500 thousand that is there, but it is true because I read it too that Drake staked that amount of money. I hope the amount is not too much though, as a celebrity and the wealth he has, the amount can be the little for him but so big for me, the last bet I played was with $20 and I can not go further than that. I too will wish Drake to win the game, but this should not be frequent because gambling is risky, but I like the news because people will use it to know much more about gambling with crypto gambling site organizations.

I would like him to win not only he will win millions but he will be headlined positively and this will encourage celebrity and high society people to try their luck on Stake and of course Bitcoin, it's a win-win for Drake, Stake, and the whole Cryptocurrency because they are on headlines the world have read so many things about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency but seldom they read about Crytpocasino and celebrities betting on them.

This is a good strategy to push crypto gambling to mainstream channels. Thanks to a famous celebrity betting with bitcoin publicly, many popular sites had to promote crypto gambling and Stake even if indirectly.

I don't know where the original idea of Drake sharing his bet on social media came from, but it must be said it was a smart one and the results are evident for anyone who check it on google.

Yup, a win win for us, we all know how famous Drake his, he has a lot of followers and if they see this for sure there could be some curious cat.

Drake is known to be a avid sports fans so no surprises that he will bet on this one. Good marketing for the gambling platform as well as it will have a foothold on how they could be trusted by others. So it is also a win for their reputation.

You might check other gambling platform as well as there are contest regarding superbowl: (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0), including Duelbits.
