What kind of hash rate are you guys getting? I'm getting about 220 H/sec with an i7-3930K CPU, does that sound about right?
My E3-1230V3 is mining at the speed of 170H/s.

That's pretty good for 4 cores!

Merely a mirror image of BCN,no marketing ,no innovation.
Does DSH have a future?

Considering the untrustworthiness of BCN, more than likely not.
If you want to put your hashes to use and get money in your pocket, at the moment its XMR or BBR.
This coin is getting where users get it. If users wants marketing, they have to do marketing.

Just to compare:
On one side are coins with similar budget to Dashcoin like AEON and One Evil Coin. They are both on the way to death because of no long term plan for the network and the core. They do not implement new features. By 'new feature' I mean features Bytecoin or any other coin already implemented.
The other side are coins with HUGE budgets like Monero and Boolberry. From Monero developer threads you will find information that adding a feature like 'multi-signature transactions' cost around 15,000$ per feature. If you monitor those coins closely you will see that most of the features they want to add (for 15,000$ per feature) are already implemented in Bytecoin.

What Dashcoin do?
Dashcoin implements all feature Bytecoin has. This means we already have multi-signature transaction. We already have reset and list_transfers commands. We are one of the first who implemented fix for the attack executed on Monero.
At what price?
Currently a feature added costs us close to 200$. This is far less from 15,000$. But we are not happy with it. We want all the features we add per month to cost no more than 500$, with developement time included.
Do Dashcoin has value?
You are the one who decides. What we can garantee is Dashcoin will not die as coins with similar budgets. It is a long term project.

Since you mentioned no long term plan,so ,what's the no long term plan for DSH?

Cryptonote in itself is innovation, and Dashcoin gives us all the perks of Bytecoin without the 80ish% premine.

I never knew I need to put in a payment id
does this mean I lost all my dashcoin
If you are sending to an exchange, try to contact the exchange owner with your transaction id, link to the blockchain and the exact amount of the sent coins. You have a slim chance to get your money this way, but I cannot guarantee it will work.

If it was to Subtoshi, I try to recover coins sent without a payment id.  If you include the transaction id when emailing support, then I can generally recover your coins in under an hour.  To find your transaction id, search simplewallet.log for the command you typed to send the coins, and the transaction id should be listed below that.

Hey Dev,

Would DASH have this similar so called flaw that is supposedly in XMR?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/delete-786201

Your input would be appreciated!
He didn't say anything concrete so I cannot tell. XMR devs have no concrete information either. If an exploit like this exists all CN coins are affected, but until any of this is confirmed count it as FUD. I am following the situation closely.

What for? Dashcoin brings nothing unique.
Litecoin brings nothing unique. Dogecoin brings nothing unique. Monero and Ducknote brings nothing unique. It is the set of people that makes the coin. The activity of the owners is what gives value.

From the OP:

Why mirror image is better than self sustained fork?
The reason is simple - costs. Self sustained forks demand a lot of development time, if you want to build a well maintained cryptocurrency. And if the network grows, the required development time is likely to grow too.
A simpler, and less costly way to maintain a network with high reliability is to create a self mutating copy of it. Mutating copy is a simple copy of the original source, mutating every time the original source mutates.

Even more - such a process can be automated!

Tell me, what is it exactly that you do?

Scripts, tests, bug fixing and reporting. Suggesting features to make the process better.
Are you seeing just core developers as owners? When I use the word 'owner' I mean every person holding coins. Holding coins = owning part of the network.

Excellent reply.
But I still think as Dev ,you should bring some new feathears.
