It's greed that makes people lose high amount of money they already won. They always believe they can win more and slowly the money keeps reducing till its too late to stop.
I wont stop gambling altogether if I win a huge sum of money. I am not gambling to get rich out of it.  I know I can get rich out of gambling, but that's not my purpose for gambling. My purpose of gambling is to have fun and probably gain a little money out of the fun.
You'll always incur so many losses when you see gambling as a route to be rich.

There is no problem returning to the gambling table as long as you can control yourself in the following games and are consistent with previous betting patterns. The problem comes when you tend to make bigger bets or add more bets at once after having a lot of bankrolls in your pocket or account balance(if it's an online casino). Slowly it will change your gambling patterns towards a certain level of addiction.
The easiest first step to take after a big win is to immediately make a spending plan for things that are not very liquid to cash out.
In addition, never let your emotions rise when you get several defeats because that can make you forget your purpose for gambling. It can also make you increase the bet amount, where if you lose, the loss will be bigger than before. But if you really can control yourself, whatever results you get from playing gambling will not influence you to continue gambling and you can get out of gambling on time. We must prevent addiction before it occurs, so we must be responsible for ourselves. And when we get used to it, we can easily get out of gambling without any burden.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

Anyone can quit if they have a strong will to do it, but most of the time people fail to do it and back to gamble even more than what they used to bet before the life changing win. However, I'm pretty sure once people win decent amount of money in gambling, it will hard to 100% quit.

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

This is a very common thing to happen. As I said previously, most gambler who have just won a huge amount of money will make them bet bigger than before because they are excited to win more and more or they have in their mindset like this "If I lose it back, it is still fine as it is money that I won easily". These 2 things that makes people lose what they won, even worst they lose deeper from their own pocket.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

It is fine, but what we can do about those people except giving a suggestion? The decision will always be in their own hands.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
Actually, this has been my idea for quite some time, but I have yet to implement it. I've even reduced my target amount. Although I did not deposit with my own money, if it weren't for gambling, my current life condition might be better. Before, I was able to earn 0.5 bitcoin in less than a week and, most of the time, 0.1 bitcoin per week for how many years. Maybe that's why I got stuck in gambling because beginner's luck makes me feel safe and that I can do it again. Which makes me worse.

You are very lucky as you keep winning, and that is a huge amount. I think the gambling addiction really starts when you keep winning and earning that huge amount of money. You are really wanting and finding that feeling of winning again, which is really the most dangerous time because you feel unstoppable in your gambling and you want to bet more and more. I am lucky that I haven't experienced this even though you are winning big, as for sure you'll lose a lot now. I am just happy with my small wins and get entertained while playing.

If that's the amount i'll be getting once I quit, then i'll probably close most of my casino accounts through self-exclusion and never look back.

There's nothing wrong with encouraging people to stop gambling after winning big, but you can't expect them to follow your advice. I get your point here, but you can't simply stop others from doing what they want and not everyone mainly gambles because they want to win big.

I've cashed out some of the big wins i've won through contests and promotions, but now i'm continuing because of the entertainment rather than aiming for another big win.

Would be hard to do so, I guess, but possible. But to compare, it would be easier to quit with huge winnings than to quit after a huge loss simply because frustration and regret is present. In my case, since I was able to limit my gambling activity, I think I would be able to quit gambling if ever I would be winning big time. One reason is contentment and another one is fear of losing what you have won. Maybe it does depend on your gambling habits. If you are a 'heavy' gambler, then it would make sense to say that you will have a hard time quitting after a huge win 'coz greed may take place and might give you the idea that you can still win bigger amount or that you have a lot of money to use on everything you would want to.

This is a common scenario when someone who Gambles a lot makes a lot of money and then ends up giving it back to the house. It’s usually the addicts who always come back and makes themselves feel like they are going to make more money if they put in more money, and that’s just pure luck. You can never know what’s going to happen, but I think the feeling of that is what makes an addict an addict.

I haven’t been gambling a lot, just because I know that it’s just looking for me. It’s not a sure thing, and I can control myself. But if I win a tremendous amount of money, I probably will gamble once I have bought everything I want.

Maybe I'll quit for some time period, but the tempt to gamble remains. Important thing I'll never expose it to anyone that I've won big, because we don't know at which moment mind changes. Maybe if I want to gamble, then sure I'll do it as I've got good backing. I don't know whether I'll win it or end up everything. If I've revealed the big winning, surely the minds of my close ones won't accept if I end up losing everything.

I'll quit based on the situation, because if I don't have debts and other financial needs I'll continue to gamble. If I were with commitments and need of money to have peaceful living, surely I'll quit gambling and lead life happier with the winning.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

Since it's life-changing money, therefore, why should I stop gambling?

I will definitely continue more as I don't mind losses lol.

But it depends if, during that time, I opened up several businesses and establishments that will make my time busy and occupied that I don't have time now to do gambling. Win or lose, I just keep myself responsible at all times, and that is what matters.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?

On what amount can we consider as "high"? We have our own definition of what amount range it is.

Generally, I already managed to win several times a considered high amount, but yes, in most cases losing them back in gambling in the long run.

Just a normal day for me lol not unless we are talking about a really high amount figure that is something we can't imagine winning.

I’m still gambling at the present time. I can say it’s not that huge amount actually that I won when gambling but just a good amount, enough to cover up my previous losses that time. But when asked if we can easily quit from gambling after winning big, I don’t think a gambler will just stop gambling and go home when he’s still in the heights of gambling. A lot of gamblers fail to discipline theirselves with this scenario, the reason why most of them end up losing rather than taking home all their profits.

The house knows about this, and that's why they're not bothered with the big winners, as 90 percent of the money will go back into gambling. The gambler's mind is structured that way, and it happens out of greed to win more, but not everyone considers it as greed, what matters to them is that they enjoy playing the game and in addition they've got enough money to take care of the expenses. For an online gambler that gambles from home, it'll be difficult to discipline himself, and quitting gambling after winning huge amount is close to impossible. Players will focus more and spend time gambling, when it pays off big.
Gambling industry wouldnt really be becoming something big if it wasnt really be that profitable on house side on which it would really be that common sense that you would really be going after on having more win
as a gambler on which on the time that you do win big then you would eventually be losing all of those money back on the house which it is really just that a common cycle and on the fact that those winnings do came from others losses then casinos had nothing to lose considering that they do have HE then its really that giving assurance in speaking about revenue.

Once you do find yourself get attached with gambling then you would really be having that behavior on which you would really be keeping on coming back just because you are really that neither get entertained or
really that aiming for money mainly. It might really  that easy to say that you could quit up midway but on the time that you are on the actual condition then it would really be that impossible
for you to get out specially when you are on a huge losses or even that winning side.

I can bet or not... this is not related to my assets. these are two situations completely unrelated to each other and this is also a trick for those who want to play just for the pleasure of playing....and in general playing a trivial amount Wink
Depends on the kinda assets bitman.. if I got that really straight, then maybe you meant some phenomenal/real life assets... There's still every possibility that you stake on them buildings and solid structures to whatever amount it is, and you lose them...
Are you also referring to liquid cash or funds converted in crypto? It's still possible that they're linked and squandered profusely... The control lies in the mind, not on how much anyone has... When anyone seems to be gambling for fun, Its usually dawn on me as I don't really know what Thier intentions are exactly... Are they actually out for any wins at all??

It's rare.  Most people who gamble don't even do it for the money it's the rush of having action on something.  If you win a ton of money it just means more action!  Seriously I haven't met anyone who hit big who just up and left and never laid another bet down on the table.  Kudos to those who do I guess if the end goal was a certain dollar amount.

This will really depend on the individual and also their condition.
1. Are they ordinary or professional gamblers
2. Are they addicted gamblers.

For the first point, if they are ordinary or professional gamblers who are not too addicted to gambling, who can control themselves, then I'm sure this will be quite easy for them.

But for the second point, where they are addicted gamblers, this will not be easy, very difficult to do, especially if they have gone too far in gambling. Even in some cases, they need special help to get out of gambling, because they will continue to be addicted to gambling no matter what happens.

Rough to say because if we win a life changing money, that will just add some fuel to the fire and our desire will increase in the hopes that we could duplicate what we won or it's just that greed are speaking more from us. I will not deny it because we are just humans and most probably, that will happen to me if it happens that I won a huge amount that is already considered as a life changing.

If we get a win and then lose again, surely all gamblers have felt it. I once got max-win, but I immediately withdrew the money I got. Because learning from experience, if I don't withdraw it, maybe I will lose again. I haven't stopped playing slots yet, but to reduce the desire to play slots with money, I switch to playing MOBA games. at least, when I want to gamble continuously, I switch it with other games. maybe before my finances are normal, I will stay away from playing slots  Cheesy.

Easy or hard to quit depending on each individual, winning is something that is desired when someone is risking their money at a gambling place. The cycle will never be far away as experienced by the people around you. Winning and losing is unpredictable, when you win big and then manage to bring home money from the gambling venue, your adrenaline always asks you to return to the gambling venue with the belief that luck will be on your side again. When something you don't want happens, you will feel upset over the defeat that just happened to you. Your adrenaline is growing again which pushes your mind to get the money that has been used up at the gambling place.

Yes, you are right that it all comes back to each person's individual intentions, sometimes someone promises and intends to stop gambling then a few days later returns to gambling again, it's easy and difficult depending on the environment around the gambler whether many other gamblers have an effect to entice the gambler to want to gamble again, sometimes this factor can happen.

I have a friend who likes to gamble all the time sometimes he visits my house and he plays gambling in front of me, then I started to get interested in trying to gamble again with him, that's why it's also important to stay away from the gambler's environment it will be easy, but it will be difficult if you are still close with them, especially if there is still the internet, it will be even more difficult because now there are many gambling platforms on the internet that can be accessed easily. easy and difficult depending on the intention in the gambler who will determine the course of his life.  Cheesy
