You do know that the core context of this thread is now over four years old, and that the "ban changes" in the thread's subject is relative to 2014, and not the changes that took effect on January 2018 when the merit system was introduced right?

There’s not much point in bumping-up old threads and mixing both sets of rules now..

I think this illustrates the fact that the ban should be reintroduced as soon as possible. Especially when you look at most of the recent postings.

I agree.

have the requirements been changed? have 100+ activity but I'm still a jr. member

Your post history suggests you took a break for a couple of months between end of January and end of March 2018. In between, a modified system was set in motion requiring you to achieve Merit in addition to activity for most ranks.

You can see the original post with the details here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-new-rank-requirements-2818350

Is there a chart showing the amount of time between posts? (by status that is)

I kind of answered what you asked for here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.34678855

It shows average posts per day. Not exactly what you were looking for but perhaps more ilustrating.

Yeah, its not exactly what i asked for but it gives me a general picture. Cheers!

I think it was a good experiment. I also think it's run it's course and has failed. Respectfully request you reinstate the old methods. The forums are full of trash and scammers now.

I think 30 activities is very much, if you are posting meaningful things

Was frantically searching for this on Google in a bid to apply for airdrops whose minimum requirement is being a memeber

even though it's quite a lot, that is, having to make 30 posts to move atleast to a Junior member, it helps keep the forum active. Would take months before i become a full member

How to know were you proxybanned or any other kind banned? And how to find any bill for the fee to pay to come back on the forum fulfill?
That is something new and I am impatient to see how it works.  Roll Eyes

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your question, but are you asking about Units of Evil? The thing that requires you pay a fee when registering a new account on an IP that has previously been banned?

That's ok, my English is not so perfect to signify every thought in my head Tongue
In a short word, from the OP I understood that it is possible to bring back proxybanned profile by paying the fee, which is around 1$. So, my questions are: 1. How to know were you proxybanned or another kind banned? 2. What is the address for the fee to take of the ban?

Wait, so you can get banned and come back again by paying a fee?
Is this really happen in the forum. Who got banned and why they get ban.
But if someone is banned how they get back in the forum
 This is interesting now.

Nice

We really don't appreciate you bumping a year old thread with a useless post. I've put you on ignore for doing it, and I hope that other merit awarders will do the same. That will stop you ever ranking up.

I think this is pretty much what you are looking for.

At least it helped me to get around the tough PM restrictions when I tried to sell something. As a newbie seller you can't deal with 2 PMs per day. Except if you are trying to sell your grandma's shorts...

so what is "activity" anyway? As opposed to post count. What is used to calculate the activity score?

Thanks, have wondered but seemed here was a good time to bring it up.

Exactly my question. Because I seem to notice the logged number of hours.

Number of hours logged in has absolutely nothing to do with activity. Activity is the number of two week periods you have posted in. Simply put, you can only get 14 activity points every two week period you have posted in.
