No one were expecting performance like this from PSV as they are conceding too many goals while their attack is still good, but their strategy is not working for them, and they are now playing like crap side which give up easily in second half of this season. Wired performance from PSV as they fail to hold themselves against these weaker sides and now giving Ajax straight forward chance to took lead with 13 games left it's never been easy to fightback and took title again while Ajax is now having good chance after 2022 to have another Eredivisie.

Yes, i agree with your statement nobody can predict this fall from the PSV Eindoven team. I dont know what is going on, but i also think they are gonna re work and be again the powerfull team they were. Is only a bad patch in the way.

And Ajax is in the complete opposite, now they are good but i dont know how much is gonna last.

The odds weren't decent, but I was convinced that Ajax would win, so I took the risk and bet on Ajax even with those low odds.

Ajax is have a better season than they did last season, they have been able to get more wins this season than they did last season and they appeared to have improved a lot, so it's okay to have some confidence in them at some point. Sittard isn't a weak side actually but an average side and even in the game they tried to see if the home advantage they have got will be one they ca utilise but it turned out they still lost, congratulations to you on your win and I must say the eredivise is improved and now competitive than it was last season.

All those hopes were disappeared just like that and the result was draw, isn't this pretty annoying result because PSV still got some good chances after Willem II got 1 goal that made the score 1 - 1 and some of those chances didn't produce any results for PSV to gain goal advantage.
PSV draw against Willem II gave Ajax big advantage who also targeted to be able to occupy the top of the standings, after this draw PSV will prepare to face Juventus for match UCL and I think it pretty interesting match.

Currently Ajax has 2 games played less than PSV. They played 20 while PSV, 22. So it's all in their hands now. They're playing Fortuna Sittard later today, but won't jump into the first place as PSV has way better goal difference (by 20).

Important and much needed win by Feyenoord, it was not an easy game and they were not as dominant as you would expect (or as the result might suggest). But they might gain on Utrecht, who are currently losing at home 0-1 to Almere.

In their last 5 matches PSV have really performed badly, where they have only managed to secure 6 points with 1 win, 3 draws and 1 defeat. A result that makes their position really threatened and will likely be shifted in the near future by Ajax.

Meanwhile, regarding their match against Willem II. when the match ended, statistics showed that their ball possession reached 66%, but as you said they were unable to utilize this dominance well to build more attacks and get more opportunities. Only able to score one goal, this is really a very bad result.

In another match, a match is currently underway between FC Utrech VS Almere. The first half is over and the score is temporarily 1-0 with Almere in the lead.

In the second half I hope FC Utrech is not only able to equalize, but they are able to turn things around and take 3 full points from Almere, because Almere is not a strong enough team this season. On the other hand, winning 3 points in this match is also quite important to strengthen their position in 3rd place in the standings.

This match should have been a great opportunity for PSV enhoven to get 3 full points and score more goals, but unfortunately, the PSV players were unable to perform well in this match, they wasted more valuable opportunities. Only able to get one point in this match, their position at the top of the standings is really threatened, PSV has played 22 matches with 51 points, while Ajax has only played 20 matches with 48 points, so if they can take advantage of this momentum well, then they will really shift PSV's position from the top of the standings. And the closest Ajax will face Fortuna Sittard. Seeing how Fortuna Sittard's performance has been lately, which has failed to win matches in 4 consecutive matches, it is very possible for Ajax to be able to seize 3 points from Fortuna Sittard.

It's funny that it was a game in which PSV played at home, they scored the first goal, dominated possession, created more opportunities and when the game was nearing the end, a Willem player easily got past the PSV defense and scored an equalizer and the game ended with PSV losing points. Today there's an Ajax game, I bet on Ajax to win and it has "decent" odds of @1.44 Grin

PSV missed the chance of extending their lead at the top of the table to 5 points even when they're very much aware that Ajax have played two games fewer than them at the moment. Getting a 1:1 draw at home against Willem II I think was a poor result for PSV who will be trailing Ajax by three points if the current second placed club succeeds to win their two outstanding games.

Ajax will play against Fortuna Sittard tomorrow and if they succeed to beat their hosts which I strongly believe they'll do, they'll equal the current number of points PSV have garnered so far while having a game at hand to surpass them. Interesting times in the Dutch league I think

I don't think they're prioritising UCL over Eredivisie. Of course they'd love to advance through play-offs to the next stage and enjoy the extra income boost, but they're not a favourite against Milan and are most likely to drop out.
And most of the time, the argument of "focussing" on one competition is just an excuse for losing.

Luckily they will have a good chance to redeem themselves a bit in the eyes of their fans and finally win a league game (after 4 games without a win) as they're playing Sparta tomorrow.
Sparta is (that is the oldest professional football club in the Netherlands btw) is placed 16th in the league, so it might sound like an easy game for Feyenoord, but Sparta will be extra motivated for the derby and they have proven they can be dangerous e.g. by defeating AZ Alkmaar 2-1 in an away game 2 weeks ago.

I think it is still very natural for Feyenoord to have such performance at this time maybe they could be more focused on UCL than to their domestic league, it is very difficult to share strength to remain consistent in some leagues, so what Priske thinks and the team prefers to print Achievements in the Champions League seem to.

But it is very unfortunate if they don't get an UCL ticket next season if Feyenoord can not survive in the top 3 standings this season

Performance of few clubs are not consistent which creating interesting competition all teams losing their points which are surely going to be problem for them in last few rounds.

Due to new format in European competitions this season is much better for Dutch clubs as they have good performance and still good chance for going into next round which things could be interesting for them and this will give them good experience for future now they needed to be improved quality and consistency.
