Well it was a good result because they were able to beat PSV. But if we are talking about the title I think beating the best team in the Eredivisie right now does not mean you can win the league trophy. Right now PSV and Ajax both got 1 defeat. In change of attitude of Ajax having huge impact on their performance in last few games as per how they are currently playing. We could expect good end of this season for them and their opponents because PSV is surely better team with the lead of 7 points from Ajax and 5 from Utrecht, but we have 22 rounds remain in this season which is good number for having any kind of positive changes.

Ajax performance in Europa League is also impressive as they are second in league table mean they are giving their best in all competitions for having good chance of winning silverware which is possible as well. But, as we are facing injuries and other problems in many leagues this can bring some impacts here as well otherwise most chances this is going to be good season for the top teams here Feyenoord will be also tried his best for having another season into Champions League even their performance is not good unlike we had them in last season.

Well it was a good result because they were able to beat PSV. But if we are talking about the title I think beating the best team in the Eredivisie right now does not mean you can win the league trophy. Right now PSV and Ajax both got 1 defeat. It's unbelievable that Ajax is finally becoming a dominant team in the league again and if they can stay just 2 points behind PSV and not lose in any game, then I see that the decision of who would win the title would be on March 30, 2025 when Ajax plays against PSV again, but if before that day PSV lost in at least 2 or 3 games then Ajax could have a great chance of being champions, but the problem is that PSV hardly loses against other teams, it seems to me that currently only Ajax is in a position to beat PSV. Anyway, it's good to see Ajax returning to the good times.

Of course there are many opportunities for Ajax to be able to win the title and they are not only performing well in the Eredivisie but also in the Europa League by becoming dark horse team because Ajax presence is certain to make it difficult for several other team who are trying to compete for the Europa League title.
I sure this season Ajax will show significant improvement and make big surprise for all of us.

Same here and I still have the impression that PSV is overall the better team between them but somehow today Ajax managed to win and take 3 massive points. Yep , truly a big win for Ajax because now they are back in title fight and a mistake from PSV in upcoming matches will give Ajax massive advantage but I personally can't see PSV losing the title and I also have hopes for them to start and gather points in UCL and tomorrow against Girona they have that chance. Grin

So for those following that league this was good news because it keeps at least some little excitement alive. But then again I doubt that PSV will fall behind ever this season because of this game. At the end of the day they can most likely easily afford a loss like this as there are barely teams who can really become a threat to them. But for Ajax this was good news to finally see that they can compete with them.

I think a big advantage Ajax have in this game is that they'll be playing at home. With the current form of PSV, I wouldn't have given Ajax a chance if they were away from home.
The problem with Ajax in recent games is that they waste too many goal-scoring opportunities. If they can be able to score the chances they get the chances they get, they have a chance to win the game.

The match will determine how the title race will look like because PSV have played a game more than Ajax and if Ajax can win this game and win their outstanding they will reduce the point difference to about 2 points, giving them more motivation. PSV on the other hand will want to extend their lead by adding 3 more points and making the point difference 11 points with a game more.
I think more pressure is on AJax to win this game.

I have same feeling about Ajax in this game because Ajax is not consistent with Feyenoord are doing impressive job in last few seasons, so things were completely favourable for them while Feyenoord host Ajax in this game, but early two goals were enough for visitors to hold their undefeated record in 12 games with this performance now we can expect them to give tough time to leaders PSV for the title race as both are going to face each other on 2nd November at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

In this game against Feyenoord we have good control of ball for the Feyenoord, but their finishing were not good which give them problems, and they fail to score any goal with this defeat now they are having troubling time and can face backlash as well with their next game is against AZ Alkmaar.

Despite the fact that they couldn't make it to the champions league and they also ended up loosing most of their key players, Ajax Amsterdam still went ahead to prove to feyenoord that they are still one of the best in the Netherlands after beating the home side by 2 goals to nil, though it wasn't a league match but the result was quite pleasing to the Ajax fans who are hoping to end this season with a trophy just in case they fail to clinch the Eredevisie title which seems quite unrealistic for them as arch rivals PSV Eindhoven are already leading at the top at the moment and Ajax only need to be consistent just in case PSV slips so that they may have the chance to overtake them on the table before the end of the season.

Compared to the last few seasons, Ajax's performance this season is quite stable. Ajax finished fifth in the table last season as well. Won only 15 out of 34 matches. Ajax can't even win half of the matches. Winning the title in the Eredivisie with such performance is completely impossible. But Ajax team is playing very well this season. Ajax is second in the table. Ajax won 7 out of 9 matches and lost 1. Despite performing well, Ajax is behind PSV by a big gap of 8 points.

The PSV vs Ajax match is likely to be a competitive one. Ajax are in good form this season, moreover this is Ajax's home match. Ajax players will try to win at home. However, PSV team has managed to win all the matches this season. PSv will try their best to continue the winning streak. PSV's forwards are also in great form. They have a lot of scoring potential. I did not expect Ajax to win that game because even though they seem to be getting back to their best, they always struggle against good teams and Feyernood is a pretty decent team.
Ajax have been doing well although they made me lose over the weekend because I played them to score at least 2 goals, but they were only able to score 1 goal which was very disappointing because they're at home and were playing Weillem who isn't such a big side.
What was more annoying was the fact that they scored really early in that game and I was certain they would get a second goal, but they didn't.

Against PSV, I don't think Ajax will win. PSV is in a massive form and they will win anybody they face right now. I think the best option will be to bet on both teams to score. I haven't looked at the odds but I believe it wont be that big.

I've just watched extended highlights of the game and I have to admit that both teams had their better times in the past years. It was not the top European-level football you would expect.

I expected something more from this game and I'm disappointed not because I lost my bets. Ajax scoring early goal was shock to Feyenoord and they didn't managed to make a response. After terrible last season this win should be very sweet for Ajax, especially when you seeH2H record of these teams.
