Ajax has been struggling to win match if we look at their last 5 victorious matches despite that they won those encounter I will say it has been difficult for ajax to win with ease, in their previous matches they have good ball possession and shot on target both attacks was also won by them but it wasn't easy for them to go through all those matches, ajax has to do more work in their attack in other to be up and going in future matches.

despite the fact that ajax won in the last 5 games, they are still not as strong as in the past, their defeat in the europa league just confirmed that they are still bad, mainly they have a weak defense and a bad attack that has only worked in the league local, in their last game, they had more possession of the ball, they had a lot of shots, but they couldn't score more than 1 goal, NEC is a very strong team in defense, in the last 4 games of NEC before playing against ajax they only conceded 1 goal, this was a big test to see how good ajax's attack is, after not being able to score many goals against union berlin who also have good defense ajax also couldn't score many goals against NEC

remembering that in January ajax played against NEC and they only managed to score 1 goal too, the game ended in a draw, in my opinion although ajax in the last 5 games managed to win, they still haven't convinced me that they can win the league, but ajax is lucky that the teams in the league are not as strong as the teams in other leagues, so ajax can even be lucky and win the league, but they will win by luck. feyenoord only won because he was lucky that his opponent was reduced to 10 players in the 52nd minute, it's funny that not even playing against a team that had only 10 players in the 52nd minute, feyenoord couldn't score goals, he only managed to score in the 88th minute minutes

All the teams in the championship race won their matches 1-0. An interesting statistic but true. On Friday, Az Alkmaar won 1-0 away from home. It was a difficult match for them but they won even if it was difficult.

With the performance of top four teams in last few weeks now I am expecting Ajax as the winner of this season because now they are back into business and have enough quality to take the top spot while Feyenoord is surely at the decline with their performance was really poor against relegation zone team Groningen which was give tough challenge to them for win their last game while visitors were playing with 10 men and Feyenoord were still not good to have advantage of this situation.

In coming weeks, most chances we will have Ajax as best team in Eredivisie because they are competing into league only with Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar both are still have matches into Europa Cup as well which will surely going to have extra energy from these players which is surely going to have big impact on their performance into league as well.

Feyenoord are very lucky. They eventually managed to earn full points from the match. Oussama Idrissi scored the only goal in the 88th minute of the match. It was challenging for Feyenoord to get full points in this match. Groningen played completely defensively. The players of Groningen made only 6 shots in the entire 90 minutes. Feyenoord dominated the entire match. Couldn't score despite attacking a lot. A total of 23 shots were made by Feyenoord's players. However, Feyenoord are now 3 points ahead of Ajax after picking up three points in this match. Despite being at the top of the table, winning the title this season will not be easy for Feyenoord.

So basicaly the trending of this round was winning for 1-0 for the top teams?.

All four teams still fighting for the title won this weekend and so the gap between #1 Feyenoord and #4 PSV is only 6 points.



Ajax had a very bad start after the winter break, but are now also no longer represented in Europe and can now fully concentrate on the league. In the round after next (26) there is already a direct duel between Ajax and Feyenoord, there could already be a small preliminary decision.

Ajax is not that good. 2 defeats that is acceptable but 7 draws then you leave 14 points. That's really a lot. And if you add those 2 defeats, you are already talking about 20 loss points. unworthy for a team like Ajax, Feyenoord is at the top but was certainly not the favorite at the start of the competition. PSV and Ajax are both disappointing at the moment, but I do not rule out that Ajax will still become champion. It wasn't good today either, but in the end it's the victory that counts.

This good performance currently  keep Ajax at 3rd position out of 18 teams in the Eredivisie Table, Ajax's home form is good with the following results : 6 wins, 4 draws, and 1 losses. But their today encounter with Nigmejen looks very difficult after all the attempt made by ajax to net a goal proved abortive in the first half, the host team needs to attack constructively in this match so as to get the needed result.

PSV are currently in 4th position in the 2022/23 Dutch Eredivisie, with 46 points from 23 matches played. They have won 14 matches, drawn 4, and lost 5. This week a huge downfall for Utrecht, which lost to an amateur team 1-4 in the cup. Remaining teams in the Netherlands in the cup are now Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord and Spakenburg is the surprise. Tonight is also the draw for the semi-finals. Feyenoord's lead in the competition is only 3 points over Ajax, lose a match and Ajax can already be on top again. And we also get the Feyenoord - Ajax match, so the title fight may already be decided there. Feyenoord has a relatively easier program than Ajax, but that does not always say everything. And Feyenoord is the only Dutch team still active in the EL. A lot of time and energy will be put into that too.

Utrecht v. Sittard looks like two aimless teams. But they are not. The home team will try to get a point or points for Europe while the away team will try to get further away from the relegation zone.
Az Alkmaar are away to Vitesse in another important match. If Alkmaar want to close the points gap, they need to get 3 points without dropping points in this kind of matches. The points difference with Feyenoord is 5 and it's not a gap that can't be closed.

Eredivisie is not like another league which we always watch when the team plays on every week. Eredivisie is different from the premier, seri a, la liga or another favorite league here, so i am really sure you will not receive any significant answer. But for me, a team like Ajax will make us surprise until the end of the session. Believe me, they will chase Feyenoord if different points are not too far like now.

Good question. I don't follow weaker teams in Eeredivisie that much to know them in detail, but probably Vitesse is the most obvious case. On paper it's solid team, which should fight for Conference league spots and not be near to relegation zone. Another team which surprised in negative way is Groningen. Don't know what's exactly wrong with them, but it's strange to see them in relegation zone.
From underdos who surprised positively, offcourse it's Sparta Rotterdam. It was difficult to predict that they will fight for spots in UEFA cups, probably more people saw them in relegation zone before the season.

I have one question for all of us, wich team its the mayor deception to you until now in this season?.

Im between Groningen and Vitesse, but for me its clearly Vitesse, they build a good team in this season with some "stars" for a team in the Eredivisie like Marco Van Ginkel (i know he comes in febraury). But they performance was really bad, that start of season was horrendous, and after Cocu take the lead of the team, they also keep sucking at all.

What are your teams, we allways talk about the big ones or the ones who are gonna fight the champion, but its interesting to see what team have good hype before the start of the season and ended like shit.

this will be an issue for Feyenoord, especially since they are still in European competition, so additional matches there
but I do think that home championship should be a priority for them, since they got last title in 2017 (and that was the only one in 21st century for them)

Ajax is in winning strike, and will use any drops from Feyenoord to clear this 3 points that they are behind as of now
