While the Eredivisie continues with all its excitement, Feyenoord aims to maintain the lead. This year's momentary surprise team was Ajax. The team, which plays to the top of the Eredivisie every year, is now 5 points behind the leader. They should no longer lose points. Ajax's performance is very weak right now. We have forgotten the last time they won a match. They have drawn in the last 5 matches. Ajax's situation is now shaky after losing the main players of the team. Although they face a weak FC Volendam in the next match, we cannot say for sure that Ajax will win this match. I think Ajax will draw this match too. And I think in this match FC Volendam will aim to draw the match by playing a defensive strategy.

Even I have same feeling Ajax management needs to be sacked Schreuder but currently after end of first half of this season things looking interested with five top ranked teams are having fair chance to win this year's title and three having most lethal attack these are Feyenoord, PSV and Ajax with this most chances we will have them at the top three spots with AZ Alkmaar and Twente can give surprise which is possible with their quality and performance, but mostly fans are worried about Ajax because we all know this is surely one of the best club in Eredivisie and have the biggest fan base so most chances things could be changed from next week, and we will have good improvement but if Schreuder not able to give better results then surely needs to give his resignation quickly. 
I don't think a draw in this match is actually a bad prediction owing to the fact that ajax have been struggling to win games and recently played a nil-nil draw with twente making a two straight draw in their league. Feyenoord on the other hand are currently sitting first in the league and have a better form than Ajax and even have a slight better chance in Winning this match between the two teams that are playing. So predicting the gane a draw is not a bad prediction and one more thing, football is actually full of surprises what you expect is not actually what is played.
Forget about the bad form Ajax has had lately, you won't see them having a bad performance against Feyenoord, come on guys, I've seen this kind of thing a lot, when a strong team's performance drops, then it's an important match, 100% they will win that game. This draw has increased Ajax's winless streak to six matches. The match was quite balanced but Ajax could have really lost there. Feyenoord did a great work with keeping the 1-0 advantage for a long time.
The gap with the leader is still five points maybe but this season is really worrying for Ajax. They haven't been good in either the Eredivisie or the Champions League. I wonder what they will do when they compete in the Europa League on one hand. I assume their main focus would still be on the Eredivisie. Because their joining the Champions League again is more likely by this method. It is much more difficult to win the Europa League title while there are many tough challengers.

Finally a draw. Both teams can live with that. Feyenoord gave me a huge chance in the last minute of the game, but was unable to score. Could this be the turnaround for Ajax? Feyenoord seemed to go for an easy victory for a long time, but the goal against seemed to paralyze the team. If they had won, the difference with Ajax would have been 8 points, almost unbridgeable. There are basically 5 teams that can all become champions. Most people will like it if Twente becomes champion, the team that almost went bankrupt a few years ago. Seems like a fairy tale for the club from Enschede.
With the draw Ajax still had a chance to win the title, if Ajax had lost I am pretty sure the possible title for Ajax this year would have become impossible.

Currently, we are in 60th minute of the game with Feyenoord is leading by one goal but in second half Ajax is having well control in this match and trying to have positive end which looking with their aggression after trailing by one goal and having no win after the break things looking no good for them because this results can bring them down with confidence level could be also at the lowest level.
Right now we have two matches and both are on same level with same result even now I have feeling Ajax can do one goal and steal something because they need to do this and still we have fair chance for the result of btts and draw because before start of this match I have feeling draw is the best result of this match for both teams.
Having more ball posession wasn't enough to win. Ajax managed to make score 1:1 in the second half and it was final score of game. And as I said before game, draw is perfect result for chasing group. Both PSV and Twente won their games, AZ is also leading. BTW, I turned in Twente game for few minutes and what happened for their pitch? It looked like old carpet.

Yeah, commentator said that usually this derby is held on early slot that fans wouldn't get drunk so early and it would be easier to control them. You understand that things is serious when whole pitch is covered with net, preventing fans from throwing something into pitch. But atmosphere was great. PSV came out on top yesterday with a narrow 1-0 win, now AZ and Twente have to follow suit. But the match of the round is definitely Feyenoord against Ajax. But the game somehow smells like an unspectacular 1:1, but let's hope that both teams don't get in behind.
Feyenoord are consistently performing well. And now they are at the top of the table. The Eredivisie league has been very competitive this season. Feyenoord, Alkmaar, PSV and Twente are all fighting for the title. It is impossible to predict which team will win the title. The performance of each team is almost the same.
Now Alkmaar team is playing against Fortuna Sittard. And they lead 2-1 in the first half. Maybe they can get 3 points in this match.

Ajax struggle recently, they failed to win 5 games in a row in Eredivisie. Loss against Feyenoord would make their chances to fight for the title very complicated with Feyenoord getting 8 points lead. Feyenoord looking very solid and I think about backing them tomorrow. Chasing group probably would want to see draw in this game. AZ and Twente have their games tomorrow, PSV already done their job with minimal win against Vitesse.

With the current form Feyenoord is looking superior, but Ajax can change the tables with their performance and quality even they have no positive start in January with just one goal and two points from two matches mean they are still on poor run as they were performing before the break and having big decline in performance mean they need to bring fresh talent which helps them for having improved performance and better results.if won, Feyenoord is on +8 to Ajax, which would see them on trophy path, but I don't believe in that, and Ajax is closer to a win IMO
