Finally the Eredivisie continues this week, and I'm most curious to see if Feyenoord can keep up their good form or if Ajax and PSV can win the title as usual. My favourite for the title is still Ajax, but Ajax is the favourite in the Netherlands every year.

The top three in the table all have tough games against mid-table teams, so we'll see how well the teams come out of the winter break, but it's going to be more exciting than it has been for years in the Eredivisie.

So far this Eredivisie season is simply great. There is just 4 points between 1st and 4th place, Twente isn't far away too. It would be something amazing if 3-4 teams will continue fight for title till the end.
It seems that this season ajax will have a lot of difficulties to become champions and since they are having a bad performance and PSV is also another inconsistent team so I believe that until the end of the season AZ, Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord will be fighting to see who will be champion, and in this dispute even Feyenoord can be champion which would be a great achievement for them.
In this season we have poor quality from Ajax specially after selling their top players at the end of transfer window, so now all top four teams are level in quality but sadly PSV is the most inconsistent team as they are losing frequently matches but still top four teams are having good competition for the title even we are in early rounds and things can change after this break but most chances we will have good fight throughout this season because now Feyenoord is also improved side, and currently they are at the top with three points difference from Ajax and PSV which are respectively at the second and third spot AZ Alkmaar is also having good performance which is showing good entertaining end of this season after few year's dominance of Ajax.

While Ajax was doing well in both the Eredivisie and the Champions League, they started to have a lack of fodder in the last games. Especially in the Eredivisie, they lost 7 points in the last 3 games. Currently, there is a difference of 3 points between league leader Feyenoord and their closest follower PSV. Feyenoord gives his opponents an overwhelming advantage at home. If their form continues, they can complete the league as champions this season, but they still have a lot of games ahead of them. Ajax for my championship even though they are back for now.

I'm starting to think that Ajax will be eliminated early in the Europa League, they're in a bad shape and it's very visible, betting on their games has become a high-risk bet, I particularly now avoid betting on them. maybe when they buy some good players things will change, but for now they don't have conditions to be champions and even in the europe league games they will have bad performance. AZ, PSV are other inconsistent teams that are also wasting a good chance of being champions

The big question is what will happen to Alfred Schreuder. The supporters are no longer behind him, there are banners with texts that he should fuck off. Do you still want to continue as a coach? I heard Steven Bergwijn say in an interview that the Ajax players didn't know what to do in the second half. Maybe you can say that once when you are outclassed by Manchester City, but not against Emmen? Ajax led 1-3 and made a mess of it in the 2nd half. How far must a sinker sink before it is saved? It is time for a new trainer, who can also bring Ajax to success in the Europa League and who can still deliver the national title in the competition. I don't know if Feyenoord can keep this up.

Of course the fans are right to be irritated, as a team as big as Ajax keep winning until the 25th minute they had scored 3 goals and up to the 57th minute they are winning, but at the 58th minute they conceded a second goal and when you thought they would at least come out with victory they conceded the 3rd goal in the 84th minute, that would irritate any fan because in that game the problem was not a lack of goals, it was a mistake in the defense. so maybe the problem is in the coach who is not able to deal with the team

I heard Steven Bergwijn say in an interview that the Ajax players didn't know what to do in the second half.
Actually, Alfred Schreuder got the hard work when offered ajax coach because many core players leave and he must be looking a new player to fill up the vacant position. I think the official must let him finish the job until the last session, because when fired him in half way that affect also for the team he just build. But, because so many things wrong with the team, the situation must be considered again, like recruit a new player for filling up a weak position or change a coach.
Here I agreed with you there is big problem they lost their few quality players just before start of this season which is surely having big impact on team performance and Alfred Schreuder is doing good job in available resources there were few rumours in coming transfer window they are going to have something for staying at the top of the league because this is surely important for them and right now things are not going into their favour which is surely a shocking thing for fans, so they are doing things like these.

In this season Eredivisie is surely having the toughest competition with PSV and Feyenoord both are doing good job and trying to have better end of this season right now as we are in break Feyenoord is at the top with Ajax and PSV both are struggling but PSV is surely more unpredictable as they have four defeats in early rounds which is surely not good signal for them as well.

fc groningen sacked its german coach Frank Wormuth today. this was announced by the dutch eredivisie club on monday one day after the 2:3 defeat against fortuna sittard. groningen are only 15th in the table before the world cup break. F. Wormuth only took up the coaching position at the traditional club in the summer, having previously worked for heracles almelo.

I agree, the league is more interesting than it has been for a long time. Who would have thought that Feyenoord would go into the winter break at the top of the table? I hope it stays like that next year and how PSV and Ajax will strengthen in the winter?

It's an excellent season. In fact, it was not enjoyable to watch an Eredivisie where Ajax won the championship every year. I can say the same for the Bundesliga and League 1. Feyenoord needs to maintain this position. They are currently beating Excelsior 5-1 in the ongoing match. This is a truly excellent score. Will the performance that will surpass Ajax be in other matches?
that was pure luck for Feyenoord (as PSV lost 1-0 to AZ) and kept them on top of the standings with 33 points. The last Eredivisie match this year is Vitesse vs Eagles and the league will start again next year, I'm also very curious about what will happen to PSV and Ajax next year, will Ajax be able to shift Feyenoord from the peak of standings?

Things haven't been going well for Ajax and PSV in the recent times. Especially Ajax couldn't get even one win for three weeks in the league. Emmen were like one of the easiest matchups for them but it ended up with an absurd result like 3-3. Despite getting 3-1 ahead somehow Ajax couldn't prevent a comeback by their opponent.

This was AZ's fourth away win in a row against PSV in the league by the way. They won three times before this one and they had a nice mental advantage due to that. They were having a good season too so PSV needed to watch out for them. But they still lost another home game against them.

Feyenoord has taken the top spot in the Eredivisie league for the first time, overtaking Ajax and PSV. Feyenoord is 3 points ahead of Ajax and PSV. And this season's title race has become more crowded. Over the past few seasons, we have seen Ajax and PSV battle it out for the title, with Ajax coming out on top at the end of the season. And Ajax's dominance is visible every season. But this season Ajax has been a bit behind. And Feyenoord has used this brilliance quite well. They have been performing consistently well and now occupy the top spot in the table. Feyenoord can win the title if they can maintain this consistency.

Feyenoord is entering the winter break as a leader. Somehow strange, they have never been at the top. Feyenoord has an extremely successful campaign at the moment. Last year the final of the EL, this season won the group in the EL and now top of the competition. I think it is untenable for Feyenoord to keep Arne Slot as a trainer. I suspect that he will become a trainer in the Premier League next year. Ajax still has every chance to become champion, but if you look at how many points they have lost in the last matches, that is worrying. I think all competitions will be closed from today because of the World Cup?

Wonderful season so far in the eredivise this year

The top team are performing very well both in the league and also in the European competition like the UEFA Champions league and the Europa league

My only problem is my favorite team Ajax which have lost their winning habits all of  a sudden

Its been three games already and Ajax have been struggling to find their winner feet..after experiencing a loss to the hands of their rivals PSV..the winning just came to an end and so far have struggled to find a win even at the hands of the league inferior teams..

If they are willing to contend for the title this they should do something about this poor form and go back to their winning ways

So far this Eredivisie season is simply great. There is just 4 points between 1st and 4th place, Twente isn't far away too. It would be something amazing if 3-4 teams will continue fight for title till the end.
Feyenoord goes into World Cup break as leaders after their win against Excelsior. Yesterday PSV lost at home against AZ. From what I saw, it was game of equal teams. PSV scored goal in 2nd half, but goal was cancelled after VAR review.

I dont know what is happening to Ajax this season. They got only one point against Emmen that is a really bad team. They had 1-3 and were able to spill it. PSV has an amazing chance if they will against AZ to confirm their first place this weekend.
I'm also wondering what's going on with Ajax. Everything looked fine in beginning of season. but now somethingwent wrong. They failed to win 3 Eredivisie games in a row, they were leading against Emmen 3:1, but still didn't won. And I would say that their performance in Champions league were shameful. Probably main reason of poor results is ten Haag leaving club and they didn't found right replacement for him.

Another failure of Ajax, this time against Emmen. No top team. They were leading 1-3 so it all seemed settled. How is it possible that this ship of Ajax could have sunk so far? It is getting worse every week and what is more important is that the championship is now starting to get out of sight and PSV is now going to take more distance from Ajax. Perhaps Feyenoord is currently PSV's first serious competitor. I wonder how long it will take before Schreuder gets his resignation, you can't keep denying these kinds of results, I think? PSV will not have an easy opponent this weekend in the form of AZ, but I think PSV will eventually win without any problems. Simons has become very good.

I think it is a combination of several factors. Everything seems to be going wrong at the moment, but there must be a cause somewhere. You could put the cause with the trainer, but you also have to be critical of the purchase policy that has taken place in the past year. If you look at how much money Ajax has raised, it is distressing to see how much level has been returned. You can still qualify a few purchases as certain bad purchases. It has already gone wrong there, but I don't know to what extent the trainer had an influence on that. Since Overmars and ten Hag left, it has collapsed like a house of cards.

Ajax will face Emmen who is currently a weak team at the bottom of the table. As for PSV, they have quite a strong opponent and are currently ranked 5th in the Eredivisie standings. How do you think these 2 matches will go? Are we going to see Ajax will get bad results?

I thought I would see only Ajax's dominance today against Emmen. But Emmen's players scored 2 goals. And their performance is better than Ajax. Although Ajax is still leading 3-2. But I think the match is more likely to be a draw. Due to this, Emmen's players continued to attack. Also, Ajax's players seem a little confused today. If they lose points in today's match too, they will go further back in the road to win the title.
