We watched two different halves in the Twente - PSV match today.

PSV were so ineffective in the first half that this poor effort helped Twente capture a 2-0 advantage already. In the second half, Twente tried to maintain this score until the final whistle and PSV found so many chances to make a comeback. But they couldn't do more than scoring one goal only. To tell the truth I'm not surprised with PSV's losing points here. My expectation was a draw actually but PSV couldn't find the equalizer. I know that most of you were confident about a PSV victory. But Twente were like a team that would be able to slow them down after that great start. They were already not losing to PSV for some years in this stadium. Hence I decided to stay away from betting on PSV for this match. I'm glad that I did it.  Grin

But then it is also not that surprising considering that PSV has been averaging 5.5! goals per game...

Ajax won 4:0, and continued their strike, and while PSV had 22 goals in first four rounds, they are now down 2:0 against Twente, still enough time to change that, but Twente is not easy team to beat, and especially looking at three goals for a half

it is what one said sometime, 1:0 wins, but every round, are winning the championship, you cannot score several goals each round, but it is important to be constant and score that one for the win each round

PSV shockingly loss to Twente,no body expected this after a big start. Ajax with this win and the loss of PSV is now first alone on the table and 3 points ahead of PSV. Also another shock is around the corner Feyenord is losing 2:0 against GA Eagles and its only the 20th minute of the match

Ajax has a home match against Cambuur today. they've been on the road for a little over half an hour and the score is still 0-0. Somehow a bit disappointing, because Ajax often sets monster scores against these kinds of teams. It is clear that Ajax will win this match, but it looks like Cambuur will make it to the break with a 0-0 score. That is an achievement in itself. The title fight this season is between Ajax and PSV, but Feyenoord also has a good selection and will want to go for 3rd place. AZ and Twente are the numbers 4 and 5 in the Netherlands.

Ajax won with a score of Ajax 4 - 0 Cambuur [FT] and ended with a score of Ajax 2 - 0 Cambuur in the first half. The goals were scored by Steven Bergwijn (2 goals), Devyne Rensch and Mohammed Kudus. With the result of this match, Ajax is still in first place in the Eredivisie standings with 15 points. While PSV only has 12 points and is in second place in the standings. Disappointing results obtained by them when they played against Twente at De Grolsch Veste, Twente made it easier for Ajax to win the Eredivisie title.

Beating Ajax in general is hard, but in a home game I think this season the only team that might be able to do that is PSV.

The stats of those offenders of the two teams are just outstanding. PSV has two guys with six goals after four games and Ajax has Bergwijn who also just scored his sixth goal. Must be fun to play for one of those teams.

But then it is also not that surprising considering that PSV has been averaging 5.5! goals per game...

I would like to see them play against each other, but that will be in November. Before that it is only about keeping a clean sheet for both of them.

PSV are playing an away game against Twente today. This is the first serious game PSV are going to have in this season. Twente have been a problematic opponent for PSV in the recent times. I mean that Twente drew with them in this stadium in the last three games in the Eredivisie. And they didn't make a bad start to the current season as well. I'm aware of the fact that PSV scored 22 goals in 4 games already which shows how strong they are in offense. But this can be misleading also as for the bigger games.

There is a PSG example for that. They also were having a similar form but Monaco stopped them suddenly by a 1-1 draw in the Ligue 1. Twente might do the same to PSV therefore I'm thinking of placing a bet on both teams to score @1.51.

PSV is on fire this season, one goal more each round, started with 4 in first round, 5 in second, 6 in third, and now 7 goals against Volendam

22 goals in four matches, unbelievable
are we going to see eight goals by PSV in next round against Twente? probably not, but they should prepare for worst, bearing in mind scoring form by PSV

this will be a test game for the PSV forwards I say that because Twente is a team that in 4 games only conceded 1 goal, they have the best defense so far, they are the only team that played 4 games and only conceded 1 goal, I don't believe this is a coincidence, it shows how their defense is very good and they have a good attack to the point that in 4 games they managed to score 8 goals, that is an average of 2 goals per game. PSV conceded 5 goals in the last 4 games, that gives an average of 1 goal per game, that is one thing we can assume that PSV conceded a goal in this game, and the question will be: how many goals will PSV manage to score? BTTS seems to me the safest bet for this game

A German article about Ajax's extremely successful transfer summer, in total Ajax made 216 million euros through transfers. So the coffers should be full should the autumn season not go well, millions are no guarantee for the title but Ajax definitely have enough money to strengthen in the winter should it be necessary. Now it will be even more difficult for the other teams in the Eredivisie to fight for the title.

Damn what a number! Cheesy Ajax has always been known for these amazing transfers. It's really their business model without a doubt, although the sad thing is that it's tough for them to build a team that can grow together long-term. That's the disadvantage, but if they keep doing what they are doing they won't at least run into financial trouble ever.

Ajax never fails to identify young talented players. They form squads with qualified players. And gradually making them experienced. Ajax management's main focus is on young players. They make these players experienced, and sell them at high prices. And since they form the team with qualified players, their performance is quite stable. At the same time they are able to earn a lot of money by selling them.

 Grin

they have become a team with a very profitable business, i just hope they also start thinking about keeping the good players to win the champions league because money also becomes an addiction, if they only think about their current strategy of getting good ones young players to sell and just want to achieve big results in the local league so they will just stay like this for years and not be able to win the champions league

Fortuna Sittard 3 - 4 FC Utrecht

result of this game is very strange, there were two penalties and in 30 minutes there were 6 goals, for a game that until the 66th minute had not even 1 goal I even thought it would be a goalless game, but goals started to come in from one quick way that shocked me with this result

Sittard would be playing Utrecht at the Sittard Galeen stadium tonight. These two struggle for points as they are being ranked at the 18th and 15th position respectively.
Utrecht have not been doing well in their games as the last one against Ajax, they were beaten 0-2 and would need all the help they can get in the game today to push up to 14th.
Fortuna on the other hand look like they are comfortable at the 18th spot because in all the games they have played, they lost all and to be honest, I doubt if they would have the will to fight.

Oğuzhan Özyakup joined Fortuna Sittard. He will play with other Turkish players Burak Yılmaz, Doğan Erdoğan and Tunahan Taşçı there. I'm sure Burak Yılmaz have high influence over this transfer, they are close friends. Oğuzhan Özyakup had only one incredible season with Beşiktaş, all other seasons he were mediocre at best. He should count himself lucky as he got two year contract with Fortuna Sittard. They were in last place without points in first four weeks. Last season they were just one place over relegation zone but this season they may not be as lucky as that.
Burak Yılmaz scored in almost every game but that couldn't bring any point to the team. Fortuna Sittard's squad quality is way lower than other teams, so I won't be surprised if they relegate at the end of this season.

PSV this season is on fire in their own league. Destroying every single opponent they get. This many number of goals i didnt see from them ever. But in Europe they got knocked out by Rangers and they need to make a step forward in Europe to show they got a good team
What a magical start of this season for PSV as they are doing good tally of goals in every match 4 in first 5 in second 6 in third and then 7 in fourth amazing start after eliminated from Champions League qualifier under van Nistelrooy they are on fire for the big challenge for this season against Ajax which is also having good time with performance and money as they are selling few quality players on very high price to Manchester United.

Right now, we have one match in progress where AZ Alkmaar is trying their best for having full three points as they are third team in this season with full points but opponents Nijmegen tight defense is not allowing them for these points, and they are trying their best for stealing one point from this match.

Ajax has now favorably strengthened its defense with the Austrian Grillitsch. He is a good defensive player, but whether he also has what it takes to become a regular player at Ajax I'm not sure yet but we will see in the next few games. Since Grillitsch was on a free transfer, the risk for Ajax is very low.

The deal is finally official!

Ajax tried to do their best not to sell Antony so far. Manchester United raised their offer every time without caring about that. Erik ten Hag must have wanted to see him in his new team so much that the Red Devils fought for him till the end of the transfer window. The deal is worth 95 million euros + 5 million euros (bonuses). This is really huge but we are used to see Manchester United spending this much money for many players.

This is a club record fee for Ajax after selling Frenkie de Jong for 86 million. It is the second biggest signing for Manchester United as well after Pogba. However we all know what happened to Pogba at the end of the day. We will see if this Antony story will have a happy ending for the team.
Ajax is still a club that can give birth to talented players who can bring a lot of financial benefits to the club. In addition to financial benefits, Ajax Amsterdam also helps a lot in the development of player talent for the benefit of the player's home country football.

€95 Million plus €5 Million raised from the sale of Anthony to Manchester United including a fantastic fee for a player of Anthony's class who is 22 years old. Manchester United are willing to spend that much money to restore glory which cannot necessarily be realized with the presence of a player whose full name is Antony Matheus dos Santos.

Quite a successful business strategy.

it is definitely good news for manchester united, but i still think it is far from making manchester united a strong team capable of winning the premier league and being able to go to the champions league and go far, manchester united's biggest problem is in attack , they've even been playing well lately, at least in the games I could watch I saw an improvement, but they're still not strong enough to be premier league champions, I say that because I buy between manchester united vs arsenal ( arsenal is better ), manchester united vs tottenham, (tottenham is better), manchester united vs Manchester City (City is much better), Manchester united vs Liverpool (liverpool is better, even after their defeat against manchester united). so based on this comparison i think machester united are still not strong enough to win the first league

~snip~
Only loyal fans admit a club they support for good and bad. If I am a fan of Ajax Amsterdam in the Eredivisi and Liverpool in the English Premier League, then I will argue if someone says the club I support without an accurate explanation. Likewise with Manchester United fans. Everyone has their own assessment.

Manchester United are trying their best to end each season without any titles so they will do whatever it takes to bring about positive changes for the progress of the club although I am still not sure that Anthony's presence will have a positive effect on the progress of Manchester United.

we'll see how they play with Feenoord and PSV, but maybe it won't be a big problem, PSV didn't even make it to the Champions League, so maybe they also not in the best shape now.
But I think this makes them more focused, if we watch last night's, PSV wins with 6 goals different and beat Ajax position which means they are relieved and seem to enjoy to playing in the Europe league without tight competition. On another side, Ajax might have a problem, like many core players have moved on to other clubs and adaption the new players.

Gakpo and Simons are the most attention getting players for PSV now with 6 goals each. It really makes me feel like PSV have changed the roles with Ajax by this season. Because we have always seen Ajax winning matches by big goal differences like this. This might be a proof for PSV to be more challenging for the league title this time. Consistency is still going to play a key role of course and Ajax have been better at it so far.

The closest match between PSV and Ajax are on the 13th week. PSV can't defeat Ajax in the league since September 2018. If PSV manage to turn things around against Ajax then they can be much closer to the title. The results in big matches would determine the champion I believe. In addition, Feyenoord are also very impressive now. They are a candidate to be a tough opponent for PSV and Ajax both. But I don't think Feyenoord can maintain their title fight as much as those two.
