The deal is finally official!

Ajax tried to do their best not to sell Antony so far. Manchester United raised their offer every time without caring about that. Erik ten Hag must have wanted to see him in his new team so much that the Red Devils fought for him till the end of the transfer window. The deal is worth 95 million euros + 5 million euros (bonuses). This is really huge but we are used to see Manchester United spending this much money for many players.

This is a club record fee for Ajax after selling Frenkie de Jong for 86 million. It is the second biggest signing for Manchester United as well after Pogba. However we all know what happened to Pogba at the end of the day. We will see if this Antony story will have a happy ending for the team.
Ajax is still a club that can give birth to talented players who can bring a lot of financial benefits to the club. In addition to financial benefits, Ajax Amsterdam also helps a lot in the development of player talent for the benefit of the player's home country football.

€95 Million plus €5 Million raised from the sale of Anthony to Manchester United including a fantastic fee for a player of Anthony's class who is 22 years old. Manchester United are willing to spend that much money to restore glory which cannot necessarily be realized with the presence of a player whose full name is Antony Matheus dos Santos.

Quite a successful business strategy.

it is definitely good news for manchester united, but i still think it is far from making manchester united a strong team capable of winning the premier league and being able to go to the champions league and go far, manchester united's biggest problem is in attack , they've even been playing well lately, at least in the games I could watch I saw an improvement, but they're still not strong enough to be premier league champions, I say that because I buy between manchester united vs arsenal ( arsenal is better ), manchester united vs tottenham, (tottenham is better), manchester united vs Manchester City (City is much better), Manchester united vs Liverpool (liverpool is better, even after their defeat against manchester united). so based on this comparison i think machester united are still not strong enough to win the first league

PSV Eindhoven - FC Volendam

this game will be another good chance for PSV to get 3 points, I believe they will win this game and be on top, with jax who is selling players and is weakening and a good chance for PSV to be champion this season

Twente - Excelsior

this is a very complicated game to predict who will be the winner, but if I were to place a bet I would choose BTTS

Yes the strategy is good in financial terms, unfortunately with time you are only a training club for the richer clubs and so you win the national league and play in the Champions League group stage, but to win the Champions League you have to keep such players for at least of min. 2 years when they reach the zenith of their performance, but that is almost no longer possible, you can see the crazy transfer sums. It's a pity that the top performers leave the club year after year, but that's the way it is.
Ajax Amsterdam was eager to keep Anthony from leaving the Johan Cruijff Arena by increasing his price several times when Manchester United made an offer because Anthony also still had a few more years on his contract with Ajax. In my opinion, a very wise attempt by Ajax.
As a professional football club, Ajax Amsterdam must also consider the player's desire to leave the club. This is outside the context of the financial benefits obtained by Ajax Amsterdam.

Antony's being transferred by a huge sum of money can open the way for Francisco Conceição to have more chances in the lineup. He is a new signing from Porto as you know. But I'm not sure if we can see him in the starting eleven very often. Because they already have Bergwijn and Tadic who can play as a right winger as well. But if I was in their place I would look for using some of the money came from Antony to a reliable right winger who is playing naturally there. Otherwise maybe it can be a little problem for them in the Champions League especially.

However the transfer window is about to close very soon so it doesn't seem like they are interested in anybody at the moment. I respect their choice of course because Ajax have never been targeting to build a much stronger squad to be more serious in the Champions League for example. They are just happy to see the development of their talented youngsters.

Ajax profited a lot from this transfer and the fact that United is seeking new additions to their squad, with solid amount of money in hand, and willingness to spend it
not sure how much will Ajax be down due to Anthony being out, but I think that they will simply not feel that in Ere divisie, but could influence their success in CL (although they are certainly not happy by elimination from Benfica last year, with all names in squad)

good luck to Anthony in United
I wish him success there. I think the figures of Kenneth Taylor and Steven Bergwijn are very suitable as Anthony's successors, coupled with Ajax Amsterdam's plans to recruit other players to strengthen the team with money from Anthony's sales.
For the competition in the Eredivisi Ajax Amsterdam will not have serious difficulties with the loss of Anthony. I think that Ajax Amsterdam is still very difficult to compete in the UCL if they always release their products (players) to other clubs when they are at their best level. This is what I'm worried about.

MU is the biggest costumers, they spend over 150 million euros for Ajax players. I don't know how effective Premier League atmosphere, because when I look at a previous session, many players failed when moved from Eredivisie. So, with this situation, PSV, Feyenoord, and AZ Should be able to beat Ajax, especially missing some key players, but this is Ajax, they can quickly replace with young and better players, I will no doubt when they still can compete with others.

Ajax has a very strong training school for young players, and these players are very well motivated because they understand that many managers from europian top clubs are constantly following Ajax. I see that Ajax despite all the transfers feel great, we'll see how they play with Feenoord and PSV, but maybe it won't be a big problem, PSV didn't even make it to the Champions League, so maybe they also not in the best shape now.

Due to the mega transfer from Antony to Manchester, i think another transfer to Ajax is still possible, there would be enough money. Ajax made a lot of money this year but also lost many key players in a short period of time, which could be an opportunity for PSV.

In another forum I read that Hakim Ziyech might return. Wait and see, maybe Ajax will buy a reinforcement today or tomorrow, financially Ajax is far in front of all other teams in the Eredivisie with the transfers and the Champions League from the last and this season.

Ajax and PSV won their games as expected, PSV with an impressive 5 goal difference.
Very Interesting to watch both again, PSV seems like a monster goal ( have a better on a different goal, 11 points) even having one draw in 4 matches. but, which they perform, this shows us PSV has better on the attacker. All players can be an attacker, but unfortunately, even though it's great PSV has fallen from the Champions League playoff and come back to play to Europa League.

Ajax is once more performing reliably, but so is PSB and also Feyenoord Rotterdam. This season could be a great one as obviously PSV is also on fire. Whether Feyenoord will stay close to the two favorites remains to be seen, but for now that is quite a promising start for the Eredivisie fans.

The situation between PSV and Ajax is a bit similar to that one in England. When you want to win the Eredivisie you can't drop any points at all. Small mistakes are going to decide between PSV and Ajax in the end and it will be no different this year I believe.

Despite the fact that often times a lot of players leave the two clubs after a great season they have once again two very strong squads with lots of offensive power. Probably another few stars in the making that will transfer to other clubs rather sooner than later. It's still impressive how many young great players the Eredivisie is bringing out on such a constant level.

We can' discuss about PSV's pressure that they are putting on Ajax. I personally believe that there are not so many people who are following Eredivisie soccer. Now the focus was on whether or not Götze is going to score in the Bundesliga or not. He did, but the competition is on again between PSV and Ajax.

Funnily enough Götze scored a goal for Frankfurt, but to be honest, I don't think that Götze is a great player. Yes he scored the goal against Argentina back then, but as we can see that doesn't make you a great soccer player.

Now at Frankfurt who knows, but is he really a loss to PSV? I don't think so!

PSV is now putting pressure on Ajax, and that is so important. Otherwise we wouldn't be following the league at all!

The transfer from Ajax to Manchester (Antony) was a shock, nobody expected that, and his score is good, but not overwhelming. I just didn't follow him a lot in the past. We will soon see how that turns out!

As man United fan I hope this move comes good for him. Anthony has everything to excel in that United team but we all know how difficult premier league is. And comparing Pogba to Anthony shouldn't be discussed, Anthony is going to play for a manger that understands him, whereas Pogba's case was totally different

Ajax and PSV won their games as expected, PSV with an impressive 5 goal difference. Ajax could now have another prominent departure with Antony for 100 million euros. That would be a record transfer, but could Ajax replace this player so quickly over the whole season when Ajax have more loaded in Championsleague, etc.?

In the last 2 games, if I'm not mistaken, he wasn't even in the squad, so I assume that the transfer will be pretty fixed.

Ajax returned with a line-up without Anthony in the 4th round of the Eredivisie match between Ajax Vs FC Utrecht, who were rumored to be moving to Old Trafford.

Ajax a 2-0 lead over FC Utrecht at the first half thanks to goals from Steven Berghuis and Brobbey which was scored from close range. Ajax players appeared to be having a great time while playing this game with excellent line coordination, whereas FC Utrecht appeared under duress despite playing in front fans.

1   Ajax                    4   9   12
2   Feyenoord          4   8   10
Only a few points difference to catch up with Ajax at this moment. I also saw 4 Goals scored by Steven Bergwijn

With this victory, jax manages to maintain himself in the first position, they are doing a good campaign so far. there are 4 games in which they won all games and managed to score 12 goals and will concede only 3 goals, but they have little difference in points with their opponents which means that they cannot afford to lose points, mainly because PSV is winning the Excelsior thanks to a goal they scored very early, maybe this season we can see a lot of competitiveness

FC Utrecht 0 - 2 Ajax

as expected from Ajax, they won easily and remain in the top

Excelsior 0 - 1 PSV Eindhoven

as soon as the game started, PSV already scored a goal, they are expected to win this game, so so far everything is going this way and they can continue in second position

FC Volendam 0 - 0 Twente

I think Twente won that game
