I think Ajax needs to sign more quality players so that the team can face any club they encounter next season not just in their league but in the UEFA Champions League because their new manager will be hoping to win the champions league since the club has enjoyed a lot of dominance in the Eredivisie.

I think Ajax will lose their dominance in the Eredivise League next season. They have sold a number of players, now they must find a worthy replacement for these players. And if they can't, PSV will dominate the Eredivise league next season. Ajax should now focus on young talented players.

ajax amsterdam has signed a new left-back. according to the dutch serial champion, Owen Wijndal is moving from az alkmaar to the champions league participant for €10 million. in amsterdam, O. Wijndal receives a five-year contract until summer 2027. at alkmaar OW still had a contract until 2024 and made 30 league games last season.

This is good news for the team because a lot of people were beginning to wonder if Ajax doesn't want to dominate in the league and also perform very well in the Champions League next season since they have sold so many players but are yet to bring in new ones to cover their space. The signing of the 22years old Dutchman Owen Wijndal from Az Alkmaar is a great deal and this shows that Ajax want to defend and dominate more in their Eredivisie League and the team is getting ready for the new season with the mindset of team building.

they are getting serious about domination in Ere divisie, with all these new players, it will be hard even for PSV to keep up with them, others will certainly stay behind
it is a question dough, what Ajax can do in Champions league, last season they were marvelous in Group stage, but kicked really early by Benfica in knock-out stage, they probably want more this season, and hopefully they can do that, to make it interesting, since it is only Premier league in last stages in CL
They status is defending champion so they will really serious to build new team especially Ajax will lost some of their players so buying new players is necessary however Ajax already have new manager Alfred Schreuder and interesting to know how far he can makes Ajax dominated Eredivisie and looking at his profile before train Club Brugee seems he has working as assistant manager of Koeman and Ten Hag so i assuming Ajax game of style won't change too much because probably his philosophy of football similar to Ten Hag and maybe this one of the reason why Ajax management choose him as the replacement of Ten Hag

I think if suitable Owen Wijndal can fill up Lisandro Martinez's position. Ajax gets more profit when bringing him only 10 Million because on the other side selling out Lisandro with 52 Million to MU. Ajax players are quite interested in another club, and because of this possibility their strategy of creating talented players same as another league club Dortmund.

I am surprised seeing Ajax spend that amount of money on a single player no matter who that is.For years Ajax has operated as a school of football, they generate talents, keep them 1 or 2 years and then sell them for big money, that has been their philosophy from ages and that is why I am surprised by such move from a team like Ajax.I don't know what is going on in their management mind but I think they have a plan to make this player better and to sell him for double or even more than that as a price, there is no other way Ajax would do this.It doesn't mean anything that he played 3 years at Tottenham.

Eredivisie I hope to see a good competition this year, for this we need to have Feyenoord and Az Alkmar back on track together with Ajax and PSV so that would make it 4 teams fighting for the title.

Normally Ajax always had a good hand with their transfers, but with € 31.5 million I am very surprised. That's more than they got for Haller. I'm curious to see how Steven Bergwijn develops at Ajax, he was already in the Ajax youth team and then at direct rivals PSV.

I'm also curious to see whether it will be a duel again between Ajax and PSV or whether one or two teams will be able to catch up. But I think Ajax has the best chance to win the title again.

Welcome to home Steven Bergwijn, I know he is not from ajax academy but from PSV academy graduate, but nothing wrong to bring him because really has a potential player. Ajax academy created a lot of stars in football like Johan Cruijff, Patrick Kluivert, Wesley Sneijder, Matthijs de Light, and many others. but still, they need a player from another school as a comparison, and it's also football where industry competition is fierce.

Ajax and PSV are the teams that will decide who will become champion. Even though it was exciting for a while last year, in the end Ajax simply became champion. They dominated very much, especially in the first half of the competition. But now it all seems to be going differently. They have lost the successful coach Ten Hag to United, and there is also a threat of an exodus of their top players. You have to get quality for that. It could very well be that PSV will take the title this year. They now also have Xavi Simons, a huge talent from PSG.

It looks like we will really see a different Eredivisie from previous seasons. PSV has the greatest potential to become champions next season after Ten Haag departure from Ajax to Manchester United.

Although PSV has greater potential to become champions next season, it doesn't mean that we can underestimate teams like Feyenoord, Twente and AZ Alkmaar. In essence, next season's Eredivisie will be even more interesting to look forward to, I want to see how Ajax play their season without Ten Haag Cheesy.

and now it's official, Steven Bergwijn moves to ajax amsterdam and is also the most expensive new signing in the history of the eredivisie. here you can see a nice overview of the most expensive transfers ever made in the highest dutch league
Congratulations to Steven Bergwijn, it is a nice move for his career, the little time he played in Spurs he really showed his worth and talent, but it was always going to be difficult for him to break into the Spurs team, so Ajax is a better option for him in terms of getting playing time, as that should be every footballers priority, how many minutes they get per season, without those minutes coming in their numbers, you can't show your talent, no matter how talented you are. The Eredivisie still has a very long way to go in terms of being a renowned league, i am surprised the most expensive transfer is just a meagre €31.25 million.
Steven has broken the record to come out the most expensive Ajax signing in the transfer window and hope he performs better than he did at Tottenham. A very interesting strikers who doesn't only waits for opportunities, but creates them as well. At some point in Tottenham, he stopped action but I don't think that reduced his role in the club because he, like Harry Kane and Son, is a team player. I look forward to seeing him do wonders in Ajax.

Wow big transfer from Ajax. They havent brought any new players this season but now they start with a banger. Who knew that Ajax was gonna open such large bag for Begewijn. Shocked that this transfer fee was large he didnt even play much in Tottenham last season
This is a big surprise, what else are Lisandro Martinez and Antony also interested in following the ex-coach to MU and adding cash 100 Pound to ajax if happens it's not a big problem even buying Begewijn. And as I know, Ajax has big cash also from Sebastien Haller which goes to Borussia Dortmund. they save a little cash, by buying a player which is not so potential then and polishing it like Haller.

Losing key players in the Ajax team together will inevitably lead to a decline in their performance next season. Ajax is not a weak team and their match strategy is excellent. But Ajax's main opponent at Eredivise is PSV and not a weak team. If the Ajax team becomes a bit weak, PSV will take the opportunity quite well and try to win the title. So Ajax should not let all the important players leave the team together.

Steven Bergwijn is back in the Eredivisie after playing for Tottenham for around three seasons. Tottenham bought him for 30 million euros and they have sold him to Ajax for 31.25 million euros now. This is nice for them not to be in any loss and even to be in some profit. Bergwijn had his best times with PSV in the past in fact therefore I think he will do better at Ajax rather than Tottenham now. Ajax have sold Haller and Gravenberch maybe but they are making up for that with new good signings.

what a price domination, within top10 transfers in Ere, nine is Ajax, they should win all titles, looking at this statistics
PSV has one place and all other teams are not to be seen within top10 transfers, so each and every trophy they win is historic and epic success

was not aware that Ajax is so dominant when spending money is in question, thought that they are taking players from their famous school
There is no doubt AFC Ajax is big brand for the Netherlands because they are dominating's in country and also having very impressive record in UEFA as well with four titles in Champions League and one title in UEFA Cup. For country, they are already having 36 titles in their pocket which is record I mostly love to watch this team in UEFA matches because they produce some quality players just because of this they have 9 out of 10 biggest transfers in Eredivisie history.

Recently we have some good challenge from PSV and Feyenoord as well but still need good time if they want to challenge them and having results like Ajax in domestic and UEFA level with good work done by Feyenoord recently as they lost UEFA conference league final.

He is a pretty diligent player in my opinion, especially Ajax need an additional striker at the moment because indeed they have lost some of their players, especially they lost Haller who went to Dortmund some time ago.
As for the Eredivisie, actually Bergwijn shouldn't be too far in adapting considering he had played for PSV for quite a while before he joined Tottenham.
