Today was the match of the Johan Cruyf scale between national champion Ajax and cup winner PSV. Ajax quickly scored the 1-0, but after that it became 1-1 and before half-time it was still 1-2 ahead of PSV. In the end, the match ended in 3-5 and that is a major setback for Ajax, who had expected to win this match. But that is not a harbinger for the competition, because last year PSV won 0-4 and Ajax became champion.

they in the champions league have no chance of winning, I say that because in the next season in the champions league we will have strong teams like PSG, real madrid, barcelona, liverpool and manchester Ciy as candidates to win the champions league

-snip

agree, i did not said that they will win CL, it would a biggest surprises in last decade if they do, but they could reach QF or SF on a good draw
nevertheless, I do think that Bayern is missing on your list, and PSG will not reach SF or further probably

not sure about Barca either, but it is off-topic already

but reaching 100 goals in Ere should be duable for Ajax this season

ajax has made good investments in players and I hope they can reap good results this season. last season they managed to score a lot of goals, but i wonder if history will repeat itself. tomorrow they have a friendly match against shakhtar donetsk, despite it being a friendly match in this game we can have another idea of how ajax will be this season, last season ajax managed to score 98 goals in 34 games, that is an incredible average of goals
Ajax win easily 3-1, even Shakhtar Donetsk create a surprise goal in 1st half, Tadic immediately equalized the score in minute 45. I do not understand the Ajax squad, but seem like they turn on the full team and create 2 last goals by steven and kudus. a factor winning One of which is Ajax play at home, so they don't have problems so much. This is 4th winning in prematch, they don't have a strong opponent so far, even lost versus Paderborn 2-5.

Ajax are on a buying spree after a very successful transfer season with a total of 110 million, I don't think Ajax have ever put so much money in their hands, with a total of 85 million.

With the last four players mentioned, I think very interesting young players are joining Ajax.

Calvin Bassey
Brian Brobbey
Francisco Conceicao

they are probably have big ambitions in CL this season, this amount of money can hardly be explained by domestic competition only
and as well, with all these new players, other teams (PSV included), will have hard time to catch up with Ajax and fight for the title

maybe this could also put Ere divisie in front of Primeira Portugal division on UEFA list, although Benfica, Porto and Sporting are solid every season in European competitions

There are only two weeks left for the new season to start. Ajax and PSV are already the biggest candidates for the league title. Ajax are still one step ahead of their opponent as well. I'm saying this by taking the quality of their squads into account of course. It is going to depend on the performances to decide which side is better. Ajax have had a domination in the league for some years and PSV would like to do their best to put an end to it. I hope to see another close fight.

In the Eredivisie league, we see the dominance of Ajax and PSV every season. Basically these two teams fight for the title. And all the rest of the teams lag behind. But I am not sure if Ajax can maintain their stability next season. They are selling some of their key players. So I think Ajax's performance will not be stable at the beginning of the season. If PSV can maintain consistency they will be able to stay at the top of the points table.

Friendly between Ajax and Eintracht Frankfurt this afternoon is cancelled. Several players within the Ajax squad tested positive for COVID-19. I wonder how many players and how will it effect the start of the season. Start of the new season isn't far away.

Good for MU because they have to build to defense, but Ajax will lose the potential player and the possibility they have a weak defense. I know ajax will start to create a new talented player even if they need more time to do that, the agent has found one of them, Ethan Laird, a player from MU academic but they wait until free transfer next year, of course, a strategy to save costs.

Ajax already have a very good defence, even if they are now losing an important player in Martínez. The cornerstone of last year's success was also the defence, over the whole season they only conceded 19 goals in the league, PSV in second place already got 42, more than double that. I hope the departure doesn't weaken Ajax's defence too much, even though they got a lot of money for Martínez, the departure of Daley Blind would be an additional blow, even though I think Daley Blind will finish his career at Ajax.

And yes Ajax will definitely find a talent again.

Lisandro Martínez moves to Manchester for € 57 million and Ajax could even get up to € 67 million in total with bonus payments. This is Ajax's third most expensive transfer, and after Haller it is another very high transfer from Ajax this year (even if Haller is currently suffering from testicular cancer), I hope Ajax can compensate well for the departures and will buy another reinforcement.

In last season we have tough competition for title and at the end Ajax won by only margin of two points with other opponents were far behind from these two with now in coming season most chances these two will fight again for title and dominate this Eredivisie because others are not strong enough for having any challenge to them Feyenoord is finalist of Last year's UEFA conference league still exit at this place because now Twenty and AZ Alkmaar are also not have enough firepower and their fight is just for staying at top in this league others are having enough quality difference which is not going to cover in next few years because they have no enough finances for buying quality players and fight for top positions like we have in Germany and France.
The News about them also does not enough appear on Media, Only Ajax while PSV, Feyenoord, Twenty, and AZ Alkmaar don't appear when searching on google. This also affects Eredivisie so that people aren't interesting to see more. but if their achievements in Europe are good, probably people will start following them, currently, only ajax where have enough achievements in the champions league, they are equal with real Madrid, Juventus, Munchen, and Liverpool.

Other than Ajax and PSV in the Eredivisie League, the general public is not familiar with the teams. Because Ajax performs in the Champions League and plays quite well. They also perform well against any strong teams. Moreover, Eredivise League dominates by Ajax and PSV every season. In the last 10 years, no team other than these two teams has won the Eredivise title. Also, other teams in the Eredivisie league are not very strong.

ajax amsterdam has signed a new left-back. according to the dutch serial champion, Owen Wijndal is moving from az alkmaar to the champions league participant for €10 million. in amsterdam, O. Wijndal receives a five-year contract until summer 2027. at alkmaar OW still had a contract until 2024 and made 30 league games last season.
This is a pretty good and surprising thing in my opinion about the transfer of O. Wijndal although indeed they also have to think about the midfield at this time which still has holes in it when some of their players leave in this market.
With him, at least Ajax's back line is now starting to no doubt make a comeback in the Eredivisie next season.

I still think that Ajax won't lose a big amount of strength after parting ways with some important players. Ajax are always a solid team with their young and skilled players. They would find new replacements for the players who leave the team. PSV have really made a big step forward last season and finished it very close to Ajax also. However it is hard to guess if they can do this again. For now the most credible team in terms of consistency in the league are Ajax to me.

Ajax has made many transfers and seems to have lost a lot of good players. They have built up a great bank account, PSV doesn't even come close to that, but what good is that in the competition? Time is slowly running out because the competition will start again in just over a month. In that respect it is much quieter at PSv and they have also been able to strengthen themselves with Xavi Simons. That boy might have been better off going to Ajax. I'm not so sure that Ajax will become champions now.

I think Ajax will lose their dominance in the Eredivise League next season. They have sold a number of players, now they must find a worthy replacement for these players. And if they can't, PSV will dominate the Eredivise league next season. Ajax should now focus on young talented players.
Ajax will still dominate same as before but a bit slow. PSV also loses core players like Gotse, Sadilek, and many more. So I think it will be the same as the last session. About young players, with their habits, Ajax will raise and create more talented, then when if it's done, they sell it at a high price. but it's different where another club sold his potential player, due to Eredivisie competition is not tight with other league competition (i.e. premier league) so Ajax will still dominate even though they are lost many potential players.

hopefully, you are right, but I cannot see why do you think Ajax is not buying new players atm, they just spent money on biggest transfer in Ere divisie history, for Bergwijn

it will be nice to see fight between more clubs at the top, but as I can see it, Ajax will dominate the league, and PSV will secure no.2, as last season

Twente, AZ and Feyenoord could be within top for half-season or similar, but will be left out in the end, there is simply no bench to keep up with best during whole season
