most seasons is like that, unfortunately, but it is not just in Ere divisie
what I find great, looking at season beginning, is that number of goals will be really high this season, PSV and Ajax are both in great scoring shape, and we can maybe witness Ajax to score more than 100 goals this season, last season they were really close to that number

100 goals is a lot, I also thought that Ajax would manage that last season, but it just didn't work out, to the last Ajax game.

Ajax won its must-win match against Rotterdam, even if only by a narrow 1-0 margin, which I found a bit strange in the statistics and line-up, why was the left-wing striker Tadic in right midfield, does Ajax currently have problems in this position? PSV has their catch-up game from the 3rd round on 31.8, but I assume that they will win the game against the promoted Volendam.

Did you see Sydney van Hooijdonk in Vitesse game? I'm sure many people missed it but he made hat-trick today. He's son of famous retired player Pierre van Hooijdonk. Amin Sarr made assists for all three of goals. These two young boys will probably go to better teams in the future. I like this side of Eredivisie, when you watch games you feel like you are a scout.
Ajax will play with Sparta Rotterdam tomorrow, I'm expecting a comfortable Ajax win. PSV Eindhoven don't have game this week, I don't know why. Supposed reason is to prepare better against Rangers in Champions League qualification game but I don't get the point. We don't see something like that in other leagues. Players need match sharpness in early stage of the season. It's not March or something, nobody is tired yet.

The Eredivisie is quite well known for growing young talents, but the final step to a big club is still quite the difference compared to the level that you have to deliver in the Eredivisie. It happens quite often that players from clubs like PSV or Ajax go to the big four or five clubs in Europe, but it turns out that often times they do need a season or two in order to get accustomed to the new challenge. Yes that is still quite normal, but it makes it a bit difficult to tell whether someone really has the talent to become superstar when the player is one of the best in the Eredivisie. It still remains to be seen whether those players can make it into the first squad in clubs like Man City or Real Madrid etc.

What has been impressive recently were the performances Ajax showed as a team on the international stage. It's never easy to play them and by now they don't really get underestimated anymore.

I like Eredivisie because like you said, the top player around the world average former from Eredivisie club which I believe Sydney van Hooijdonk will be a future player by a top clubs like Madrid, Barca, Liverpool, and Munchen. If I haven't mistake, He is still on Bologna player until 2025, I bit surprised he plays on Eredivies club or maybe as a loan player?.

PSV and Ajax started the season at a similar level. This shows that nothing changed for any one of these teams. Both of them are keeping their same strength. Ajax are able to do this even though they have lost some very important players. Of course they have brought really talented players after that. It seems that the new players have adapted quite fast. For example Bergwijn's performance in the last match was really impressive.

The season is still young but it will probably again be a battle between Ajax and PSV, unfortunately, no other team will be able to fight for the title with the two i think.

Ajax has sold key players in their squad. So our assumption was that Ajax might not be able to dominate the Eredivise league this season. But they won the first two matches. And played wonderfully. They scored 9 goals in two matches. Ajax continues to dominate well so far. And their gameplay is quite good. The chances of winning the title are still equal with Ajax and PSV.

It seems as if Ajax has coped well with the departures, in the offense it still looks good, but the defense is still expandable, maybe that will be with the new arrivals. The season is still young but it will probably again be a battle between Ajax and PSV, unfortunately, no other team will be able to fight for the title with the two i think.

~ and PSV is going to face Excelsior which is also at top with perfect start of this new season an interesting thing happen we have only seven winners from first two rounds 11 teams still waiting for their first win of this season.
Excelsior is very surprised me. they are a promotion team but begin with a good starting. I probably won't be surprised if they will make PSV trouble at the next match because when meeting Cambuur and Vitesse, Excelsior is able to create at least 2 different goals even haven't better on ball possession which means they have a counterattack strategy and have a great strategy for make surprised.

Ajax are still in-form like we have known them so far. They completely destroyed Groningen by 6-1 this time. PSV seem like the leader now maybe but both of these teams have exactly the same statistics actually. These beginnings show that we can see another nice competition between Ajax and PSV for the title. PSV seem like the only team that can put an end to Ajax's domination in the league now. They might be more competitive this season to make it.
Start of the new season is amazing by two top ranked teams in Dutch League and good thing happen both are on same goal difference which mean we are going to watch very entertaining matches with AZ Alkmaar and Twente are also having good perfect start of season, but Feyenoord missed two important points against Heerenveen, and now they are going to face Waalwijk which is also having good start of the new season with two back to back draws.

Now in third round we can expect some changes in league table because Ajax is going to play against Sparta Rotterdam and PSV is going to face Excelsior which is also at top with perfect start of this new season an interesting thing happen we have only seven winners from first two rounds 11 teams still waiting for their first win of this season.

After it was quickly drawn at the beginning Ajax has accelerated and won superior, Groningen had a total of only 4 shots and only 2 of them directly on goal 😱😱. PSV has already won Yesterday 👍.

That is the crazy thing about Ajax Amsterdam. Their strongest contender PSV goes for a 5 - 2 in an away game and what is the response? A 6 - 1 by Ajax.

As I have said before it is extremely difficult to compete with Ajax as you can almost always be sure they are going to counter whatever you present them with. The championship will again be a race between the two teams, I am pretty certain about that.

Let's at least hope that PSV can keep up the pace for as long as possible so the league won't become as boring as many of the other European leagues.

Xavi Simons immediately makes his mark in this team again. He has scored 2 goals and the young star player seems to feel completely at home in this team. PSV looks fresh under the new coach of Nistelrooij and is 2-4 and it will be over in a few minutes. I think PSV and Ajax have just as much chance of becoming champions this season, PSV seem to be much more organized than last season and also in the Champions League this week they were mentally very strong against Monaco. However, we have only had 2 matches so it doesn't say a lot yet.

ajax amsterdam has completed the transfer of Jorge Sanchez. the right-back joins from mexican club cf america and signs a contract until the summer of 2026. the 21-time mexican international (one goal) will reportedly cost the dutch club around €5 million
Maybe Ajax got a recommendation from Edson Alvarez, a friend from the National team and American Club Academy which I think is suitable if paired between the defensive midfielder and defender position. how lucky they were got cheap with only €5 million which I think will be rising in the next year because when we look at his skill is the same as Claudio Suarez, El Emperador of Mexico.

A good decision by Ajax to strengthen their defence, I can only say little about the player himself. I only looked at Sanchez on the transfermarket Website and it's difficult to assess him correctly. But Ajax seem to know themselves that they need to strengthen their defence. So are looking forward to the next games with Sanchez.

but most of it would go down the drain, if they miss to kick-out Monaco, or lose some easy points in the league, it is just the beginning, and long road this season
Yes it's just beginning, top 5 clubs won easily, Feyenoord, Ajax, PSV, Twente, AZ, and what makes me surprised is a promotion club Excelsior. Is that club being a dark horse for this session?. besides that, Feyenoord and PSV are looking very convincing with winning on 3 different goals, while Ajax and Twente maybe because play away from home, are only able to create 1 different goal.

Ajax has the advantage over PSV that they don't have to play qualifiers, PSV will have a hard time against Monaco and my favourite is Monaco.

agree here, Monaco is a favorite against PSV from my side as well
nevertheless, PSV started season in a good manner, trophy and easy win in first round, 9 goals, fans can't complain

but most of it would go down the drain, if they miss to kick-out Monaco, or lose some easy points in the league, it is just the beginning, and long road this season

Sittard did their best against Ajax but it wasn't enough for getting any point. Especially in the second half Ajax took control of the game and destroyed them by scoring three goals in a short time. However I must admit another thing that I just loved Burak Yilmaz's free-kick goal. It was a thing that Burak loved to do as he is a really nice free-kick taker at the same time. I believe that he can contribute to Sittard quite well after doing the same for Lille before.
