Good job.
This is way better!  Grin

We have fixed RonPaulCoin :]

Job well done brothers!

The network hashrate is staying higher now in general, not getting stuck, and rolling with the punches better.

Request

Can everyone who reads this please point their miners at one of the two pools below for the next 48 hours?? We want to balance the hashrate along the pools in the network.

http://rpc.chickenstrips.net
https://chunkypools.com/rpc/

Thank you in advance! It will be very soon now with the increased hashrate coming into the network.

I'm going to start mining at rpc.chickenstrips.net tonight with all my miners. I Encourage others to do the same. We want to distribute the network hash power amongst various pools, especially when the fork block hits at 45000

Awesome!

Yes, chunky is a good pool and has been around a long time.

Hey thanks for the support! We really appreciate it.

Just wanted to throw out there that we also operate a crowd sourced trading group now, and mining with chunky gets you entry. Great tips come out of this group frequently, and there are even frequent opportunities to earn coins in exchange for tips and great information on coins. Hope to see you there!

Hello all, just wanted to spend a moment and ask for any donations as you see fit. RonPaulCoins are the preferred method of donation Smiley

I just spent a some time making the website look nicer.
I just added new fancy graphics to the OP to make it cleaner and nicer to look at (take a look)
I have been reorganizing all the pools and information to make it up-to-date.
I contacted every single pool operator and exchange to ensure they have the latest version (about 30 emails and messages)
I just spent days helping orchestrate a fork to help maintain everything that RonPaulCoin stands for.

I have put bounties up for everyone except myself.

I did all of this and I didn't ask for anything and nobody paid me anything. So if you feel like donating a few RPC to someone who has put considerable time and effort into ensuring this coin lives long, then know I would be very appreciative.

My RonPaulCoin (and Bitcoin) donation addresses are in my signature.

Thank you.

RPC - RHnxM8h46oni5KrHWcPkvWo6KJWVRWMG59
(click to see how much has been donated)

The website is not complete  its being built from scratch to allow for some extra flexibility. All source will be shared with dev.
Here is the homepage/ Template design of the website I am building to give you a taste of my work and to find out what the community thinks!
New HomePage Template

If you like it and want me to continue my work, donate to the links above!
I am open to all suggestions as well. I plan to launch a beta site, and get feedback from the community so that everyone is happy with the page! =)
If you have a request share it and I can probably do it!
While it seems the fork is the priority of the community, I don't want people to think I have forgotten or given up!
I can have the website finished and launched within 48 hours of bounty completion!

Also feedback on the look and feel is always welcome =)
I'll hopefully be finishing up the new website tomorrow! Please donate to the cause =)

I don't have any nodes with "version" : 70004 in my getpeerinfo. It's bad sign usually.
Please post some updated nodes here, please.

MANDATORY RONPAULCOIN CLIENT UPDATE.

RonPaulCoin version 2.0 has been released!

Your wishes have been heard.

Please read about the details and download it here

Thank you to Tranz for coding the new version. Thank you to chiznitz and cnz to whom the developer & testing bounty has been paid, as per Tranz's request!

Thank you to all who donated.

Please help spread the word to all pool operators and exchanges so we are all on the same page!

Details:
  • Fork begins at block 45000
  • Fork implements KGW+Time Warp fix (this means a difficulty recalculation every single block)
  • Back to the more popular (original) coin logo.
  • Currently a Windows QT client has been compiled but we still need the Linux and Mac OS X clients.  If you can compile either that would be much appreciated!
  • RonPaulCoin Version 2.0 Source is up at http://www.github.com/ronpaulcoin/ronpaulcoin

45000 is excellent.

Heartbleed ??

I know the wallet was compiled with openssl 1.0.1g which is the nonheartbleed version so we should be good to go there Smiley

Not really. Don't think in terms of how many blocks to go but in terms of how long it will take. If finding a block takes 7 minutes (for example) then it is a drag and block count goes up slowly. 24 hours is sufficient notice as it only takes 5 minutes to download and use the new wallet.

The last time you did a fork it took weeks to get there.
Well just so you know Tranz (the programmer of the new fork code) recommended giving a month advance before the new fork takes place. If you want to take that up with him go for it. But I personally respect his opinion.

A month, why?

Make no sense at all unless certain parties want this current 48 block 'KGW' to continue because they benefit from it.

3 days maximum is all you need.
You sure are full of sharp comments aren't you.

I get to the point...no beating around the bush. Grin Grin
