To show we are serious about our customers and tell hackers to fuck the hell off we are the FIRST system on MPOS that have 2 factor authentication integrated.

This means that when you want to change stuff like your payout address; or want to make a manual payout; you have to unlock this via email!!!

THIS GIVES HACKERS NO CHANCE. unless they have access to your email too; which means you have been so stupid to use the same passwords for both...

We care; we really do. http://rpc.pooljunkie.nl

Thanks for the tip Smiley

It's really good to hear that Ron Paul is supportive. I hope to check out the interview later. We should definitely hit him up with some donations or something but it would be awesome if established some way where he himself accepts RPC.

I know of another source that could catapult this coin. I have a feeling once they get wind of it we will take off.

What? Oh you faithless people. I have strong faith for RPC. RonPaulCoin is standing on ideals of liberty. Ron Paul's image reflects those ideals. Approved by Ron Paul or not, this coin can't fail.  Wink

lmao, why because it has ron paul's picture on the first page? You guys crack me up. I wish all the best for this coin, but i'm not getting into it unless Ronpaul actually endorses it, after that we will have to setup a donation wallet for him as he should have some coins too.

What do you think of this?

In the meantime while we are in this state, nobody is mining. So, it is taking forever to send coins. And, for the next 4-5 days (?) barely any are going to be mined.

What happens when demand goes through the roof due to Ron Paul supporting us,  and people want to get them, but the supply of available RPC is so limited? Seems like this will increase the value by multiple times, hmn?

And then, if the client isn't updated, what's going to happen when a slew of coins gets mined within a short period of time during the next low difficulty? Is there going to be another price drop due to the relatively massive influx of coins?

For sure I am going to hold the majority of my stake because I believe in Ron Paul Coin. But, if what I wrote above is coming, would it not make sense to exchange some of them before the price drop (after the rise), then wait until they hit bottom and buy back in?

Hmmmm. Things to think about.

http://rpc.pooljunkie.nl show us some hash love guys!

what happened to all of the hashed we once had Smiley
It's about the difficulty algorithm problem... Just now the time per block is more than 18 minutes and the diff is more than 78. There are 390 blocks to be done before the next diff so it will take nearly 5 days of really low profitability mining... Who wants to mine at very low profitability...? I believe all (me included) is waiting the update that dev is preparing, in the meanwhile we wait the next low difficulty to mine at a high profitability for about one hour (earning the corresponding of days of mining...)
I mine for profit because I've bought expensive hardware and the energy is expensive too here in Italy. I would like to support RPC but I cannot afford to mine loosing energy and earning nothing, sorry.
I'm waiting for the dev fix and then I'll think about sending all my hashpower to RPC Smiley

I like seeing this. It makes me understand your point of view, while also letting us know that you support the coin. This is why we look forward to the update. So awesome to hear support for the coin coming, not only from the US, but from countries like Italy as well.

I guess everybody is eagerly waiting on the update. However; devs are silent here, which i a bad thing Sad They are drawn to a subforum somewhere with less attention to the coin. They really should update here and keep us informed about the progress they're making...

I know, and agree about the business angle. I was looking at it from the scriptwriter/movie producer perspective, like a Cinderella story of sorts Wink

From what was said in the IRC channel I dont hold much hope for this coin. Apparently the "dev" of this coin is using the dev from Hobonickel to update the code to fix the difficulty and add check pointing as a favour. The fact it is being updated is great, the fact that the main dev has no idea how to do this... not so great. Think of future support, what if the Hobonickel guy decides he cannot be bothered fixing bugs etc.

Again I am just going off what was said in IRC but my confidence in this coin going anywhere long term is low with this in mind.

Most businesses and projects are managed by people who don't have the technical ability to run them in their entirety. That's why we employ people who are specialists in a particular field - like technical staff, marketing staff, salespeople, and so on. That the RPC management team are employing specialists shouldn't be an issue - and there are plenty more specialists to replace those who move on to other projects. This is how the world works. Why should cryptocurrencies be any different?

I have been in personal contact with the devs over at RonPaulCoin forum and can assure you they are working around the clock to get an update released.  I was promised it would be sometime in the very near future. Have patience! They want to make sure everything is working before it is released to avoid any more problems.

Also everyone make sure you comment and upvote: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1vbbxn/ron_paul_comments_on_bitcoin_ronpaulcoin_and/

Lets get RPC to the front page!
