Watched a bit of League of Legends this past weekend and it looked like G2 are back on top!
G2 had a bad start in the super week going 1-2 in their first three games, then bounced back last weekend with the 2-0 sweep. They still need a few more wins to qualify for the playoffs since they've already shown in the spring season that any team is beatable for them.

CS2 has entered its player break and already 2 major changes as liquid has benched their cadian while g2 also benched nexa  Roll Eyes
That roster move from G2 probably means they'll be getting Malbs and it's unfortunate for TL to let cadian go knowing he's one of the best IGLs they can get.

Boom Esports managed to get onto the grand finals in the lower bracket for the last one slot for the The International. Congratulations to Heroic for qualifying at the top bracket and that's to be expected as they're currently the strongest in that region. Next, are likely beastcoast, Boom Esports and Cuyes Esports. As for Cuyes Esports, they're just a brand new name of organization there but the roster of it has got also the strongest players in that region. However, Cuyes has been eliminated by Boom Esports. The other known team is Leviatan, they've also lost against Boom Esports.

I have doubted that Boom Esports is going to make it to the last match for the qualification of the TI. But here they are, first game won and then 2nd game lost against beastcoast, they're already on the do or die match of their lives for this qualifier. It's only a best of 3 series and whoever wins this 3rd map is going to book their ticket to Copenhagen for which the venue of this year's TI will be held.

Oh, in EEU, it is 1win that have won the slot. Congratulations to them as well.

Later on, once this SA is done, SEA region is in in a few hours.

Right now not much is going on apart from Dota TI qualifers but VCT has started for all regions again, barely a week after masters ended

First match for EMEA VCT is today with FUT vs koi and i think it should be a comfortable win for FUT 2-0

As for the NA qualifiers, I picked Nouns instead of SR. Its kinda 50 50 at this point with Nouns winning the latest Riyadh qualifiers against SR so it was based on that I decided to go with Nouns. I gotta admit that the last SR vs Nouns games on the upper bracket totally shows that SR is better though atleast for now
Congrats, your prediction on Nouns paid off. I thought Shopify Rebellion already sorted out their problem, but I was wrong. They only looked worse, and that sweep in the grand final is probably a sign for their roster to change in the next season.
I feel bad for the LGD organization/team which did not qualify for The International this year.
I feel the same for Azure Ray, they had two chances to qualify and still fell short. On a positive note, we'll still see these two compete in the Riyadh Masters.
So it seems Dota2 also has its upsets from time to time.

Is anyone following the Blast Spring Finals? Later today we'll have the grand final between NaVi and Team Spirit. We might be in for a long series since it's a bo5, and NaVi has that momentum going similar to their run from the recent PGL Major. They've been crumbling down these past few tournaments and finally got to bring their A-game.

There's also a classic series on the LCK between the two best teams (GenG and T1). I'd easily go for GenG to win @1.5 since they're still the team to beat, and similar to the spring season, they're more likely to drop a series against the mid-table teams.

Of course have been switching between it and the Euro matches!
Those who true fans of the sport are always following these seasonal tournaments even if we don't mention anything about it.

In professional CounterStrike roster news, Brollan from Ninja in Pyjamas signed with MOUZ!

source: https://www.hltv.org/news/39212/mouz-complete-brollan-signing-tc

For the Blast Premier Spring Finals 2024 within the next hour the final showdown between Team Spirit vs Natus Vincere will commence.
Personally am going with Spirit on this grand final because for bo5 they are unstoppable.
They are the favorites @1.36x odds last I checked so with that said will go with a -2.5 maps handicap to keep it worth while to place a bet on the match.

Me too about Azure Ray.

That's a heartbreak for them and it's still different that they'd participate in Riyadh Masters but not the TI. G2xIG is a good team, they get to participate in both of them.

And they'd sure gonna rake a lot of prize money in there. I am happy for xNova but sad for fy. They just made me remember their former LGD squad.

I feel bad for the LGD organization/team which did not qualify for The International this year. It's surprising because LGD had an 11-year streak of participating in The International. LGD has been one of the most respected and powerful teams in the Dota 2 scene often coming very close to winning the championship. They have been chasing the championship but now look they are completely disappointed.
They've got a different roster this time and the notable finals that they have against OG, I am one of those that cheered them but not in the crowed but through online. They were really the crowd favorites and there's this belief that every chinese team is just too good and disciplined. But then, OG beat them and have got a reversed sweep on a best of 5 series. From 2-1 in lead of LGD, it ended up to 3-2 by OG. I think that was one of the best TI that we've ever seen.

And it's really sad that one of the regulars of it won't be able to make it. I guess that there was an internal problem as well that they need to cut some budgets for their players and that's why they weren't able to retain their mainstay and only got this roster. No offense to the current roster that they have but a strong team and composed players is hard to maintain when you have been cutting expenses and you lack of budget anymore. With all of the tournaments that they have, they should be able to run the organization continuously with good players so that they won't miss big tournaments like this but they just did.

First time since 2014 without Arteezy being present at The International of Dota 2 and I think it's well deserved because they lost 3-0 against Nouns last night and I saw all 3 games with 2nd map being a Tinker Show and I must admit I've missed this hero being in pro scene.
Someone out of nowhere with the name of copiwra as nouns mid laner was too good with tinker. Nouns was too good and too bad that Arteezy and other personalities won't be seen on this TI.

A lot of the great players have their own records of not being participants of this year's TI.

We're seeing some fresh bloods for this year's TI.

Shopify will disband after this failure because they missed World Cup Esports and now TI 13 and since they kicked saberlight this team is in a down spiral that only a disband can save them.
There's really a need a lot of change to be done for this team. RTZ to be out and go in retirement, changing their coach as well. As for mc, he played normal but when the whole team isn't playing well, it affects them entirely.

No surprise if SR will disban.

Well, these two series' have been decided. G2 x IG and LGD is on the loser's bracket while Team Zero and Azure Ray on the last final match for their ticket to TI and as explained with these two latter teams, they've got better chances based on the bracketing win or lose.
The underdog train isn't stopping as Team Zero booked their ticket for TI after beating Azure Ray.

Tomorrow's lower bracket series between Team Turtle and G2.IG will be a fun one to watch, i'm hoping G2.IG pulls through since I need them or Azure Ray to make it in.  Tongue
Congratulations to Team Zero, we were not expecting that to happen and thought that Azure Ray is going to take that slot. But then, Azure Ray still has a chance but they have to wait for the winners of G2 x IG and Team Turtle. And this is just sad that for the first time since 2021, LGD Gaming isn't able to participate this year's TI. I guess they know how it feels now as an organization that has been consistently part of the TI but now, they don't. We're about to see who's going to take the last slot in the China region within the next few hours.

And the great battle for 1 ticket to TI in the North American region is about to happen within the next 30 minutes. The finals is going to be with Shopify Rebellion and nouns. IIRC, nouns beat SR for their qualifiers to Riyadh masters but maybe this time is going to be different.
This is going to be a best of five series so let's wait for that.

That's right, it's hard to pick in any of them but we'll see who's going to take that slot. But still good luck to all bettors and to them.

I saw your answers on BSFL, yep we both had G2xIG and AR to go through this qualifiers. I totally cant believe Team Zero done it on upper bracket though lol but so yeah but on my case I need G2xIG to win rather than AR

For second series Astralis had a 8-4 lead from their T side nuke but still lost on regulation 11-13  Shocked

Now i might put some on whichever team is losing after first half in vitalty vs VP series  Grin

Other notable teams, LGD.Gaming, Azure Ray and G2 x IG.

I seriously cant wrap my head over the other teams aside from these 3. Personally Im more into G2.IG and LGD Gaming. G2.IG has proven that they are quite capable teams overall and LGD Gaming totally smacks AR's ass on the Riyadh qualifiers so yeah Im expecting them to do so again in TI qualifiers

The chart totally shows that either LGD/AR is going to play against G2.IG on Upper bracket final and the losers goes down to lower bracket finals so yeah Team Turtle is obviously going to have hard time facing those 3
As games have happened today in the China region for this closed qualifier of The International. G2 x IG has been sent down to the lower bracket by Team Zero. And as for LGD gaming, they're also in the lower bracket because Azure Ray won against them. Having that said, AR is now waiting for the grand finals which is the 1 slot qualifier against Team Zero that will happen tomorrow. And whoever lose the match will still have that one last chance to be in the grand finals for the other 1 slot on the lower bracket and will wait whoever is going to reach that.

So, four teams remaining in the lower bracket. LGD Gaming versus Team Turtle and then, G2 x IG against KEV.

Here's a snapshot of the current bracket. Other notable teams, LGD.Gaming, Azure Ray and G2 x IG.
It looks like G2.IG should cruise through Team Zero while the LGD vs. Azure Ray series will be tough.
