Me too.

Tomorrow, they will be up against two teams. G2.IG and Talon Esports. If they're able to beat the strong teams that I have mentioned.

Then, these two are possibly to be beaten by them as well. And later on will be the third and final day for the group stages and, one day rest and we head off to the playoffs.

I will watch and bet on them tomorrow.

If they could beat G2.IG tomorrow then they have beaten like top 4 or top 3 current strongest chinese team and that is a massive feat that they have done. Most of us that love Nigma probably wont even remember the last time they actually manage to beat decent team in an offline tournament, they were basically laughing stock whenever they usually play
Unfortunately, they've lost against G2.IG but it was a 2-1 score and the series ended not in favor of Nigma Galaxy. However, they've won against Talon Esports but the game also ended with a 2-1 score for the series.

And with that, they're placed above the bracket for the playoffs and it's actually a good start for them.

Team Spirit and G2.IG advances on the upper bracket semi finals.

Team Liquid looks awful without Blitz being there with them to help with draft and as far as I know they hired an extra draft analyzer to help them for this Peru Elite Season 2 but it works kinda bad for them until now so I won't expect Liquid to actually perform well.

On the other side , we have Nigma who is still having a great performance of Dota 2 and I won't be surprised if we actually see them playing the semi-finals or even the finals. Kuroky should also retire and simply let his team prosper without him.

I will watch and bet on them tomorrow.

I bet -1.5 for NGX and I lost so this is another redemption bet for me

If I win then its break even but currently G2.IG is leading with 5k gold

All I remember during their best days was when ATF and the DPC were still around, and then it was all downhill from there.  Tongue

Ikr and ever since they moved out from Team Liquid then created their own organization, they have never been the same anymore so yeah it actually looking pretty good atleast for me eventhough Miracle doesnt play in this tournament

Anyway I bet on OG to win 2-0 today and posted it on the other thread but Nouns ended up having the best reverse sweep ever I guess lol. I would have never guess that they are able to win after losing horribly on the 1st map
It's unusual to see them lose against Nouns, then suddenly turn it up a notch by beating Team Liquid.

If they could beat G2.IG tomorrow then they have beaten like top 4 or top 3 current strongest chinese team and that is a massive feat that they have done.
Their match against G2.IG will be the fight for the upper semifinal spot since Talon doesn't seem like a team that can suddenly pull a series win out of nowhere.

Most of us that love Nigma probably wont even remember the last time they actually manage to beat decent team in an offline tournament, they were basically laughing stock whenever they usually play

Both OG and SR has been quite dominating so this is actually 50 50
Congrats on cashing OG's m1 kill handicap, they're so good at dismantling teams weaker than them, they also won the second map, but the kill score wasn't as one-sided as the first map.

Yeah and Im glad that I acutally picked the 1st map over the 2nd map

I was actually having contemplation when I picked that bet though, its not something that I would bet on normally but glad that it pay off. I would have sticked with -8.5 kill for the 1st map on this game as well though but the odds was so  lame

We just saw Nigma Galaxy finally winning a series against a top tier 1 team and who would have thought Xtreme Gaming will be the one who will fall under Nigma ? Because I personally didn't gave any chance to Nigma to win this series , especially without Miracle and Kuroky playing but this should give a glimpse that Kuroky is indeed a problem for his team and maybe it's time for him to step out of Dota 2 pro scene ?
I also didn't expect the win coming from Nigma Galaxy, now it'll be an all-out fight for the upper bracket semis as the other teams won't be that easy to beat, and we could maybe have a three-way tiebreaker at the end.
We're so harsh on Nigma.Galaxy but we can't help ourselves to think that they're no longer going to win some games but they just did.

Yesterday, they won against Xtreme Gaming, and the one that they beat yesterday won against to the team that they just beat as well today for which Azure Ray.

The odds got better today as we had a few good matchups like Team Liquid vs Shopify Rebellion and OG vs Heroic, but it's such a fiesta that I think it's better to bet on something else.  Tongue

I guess Im betting on total team kill for today.

Both OG and SR has been quite dominating so this is actually 50 50

First 15 minutes of the game is going to determine wether I win my bet or not, thats what I totally dislike on total team kill but it worth a shot

Yeah although I could consider this as one of their lucky win, sometimes they win against top team once in a while but to win against XG is actually quite a feat. I totally cant wait for their next game

So true! Not having an english channel for the games really make the watching experience a bit awkward and I tend to watch it just because I do love Dota 2. However , yesterday Cap managed to stream a few games and do live commentary with SVG and that was awesome because his channel had at some point more viewers than the official ones. Hopefully this trend will still go on today with Cap&SVG or maybe other streamers like Gorc will make the same thing.
That sounds like the best alternative i'll try to tune in to his co-stream next time I have the change since I do enjoy their casting duo, earlier I had to watch through the Russian streams for the most part because of their clean UI.

I guess we'll be having competitive dotes all day long now that the Snow Ruyi tournament is starting today. Hopefully, the viewing experience will be significantly better with bkop and johnxfire representing the English broadcast.  Cheesy

True true! Also it seems that Snow Ruyi is only in Chinese commentary but we do have Knox or other great casters who will provide English commentary on their own so that is a + for them as streamers and also they do have a chance to grow their channel.

However , I wouldn't risk any money to bet on this league because even if I know almost all the Dota 2 pro teams , some of them will tend to try new heroes to find new heroes to draft before TI starts... Grin
I agree, better sit back and wait for the next few days until some of the weaker teams get eliminated in the swiss and round-robin stage. Favorites like Team Liquid don't care if they drop a map as it's all about winning their series and getting the clean 3-0 to qualify a day early for the next round.

Also, it sucks that the viewing experience isn't accessible since there's no official English broadcast from the organizers.

Dang, an $800k tournament with $200k prizepool based on viewership has no english broadcast. This is probably the biggest flop tournament of the year. How are they even expecting fans to watch the game with no English commentary, most would probably switch out to another channel after like 10 minutes of watching
I agree it's a big mistake to not have an English broadcast even if it's not that high-quality as they've probably spent most of their budget on the other broadcasts.

Yeah I always hate bo2 group stage but tons of possibility could happen in swiss stage as well and aside from that, normally the odds on swiss stage sucks so bad because most of the teams are not even tier 2 teams so yeah

Wow , I had no idea Elite League 2 will start so early! I thought it will be in August but we are already day 1 of the tournament and it seems we have around 12 hours of non-stop Dota because it's 12AM and we still have games to see so that is amazing. However , I wouldn't risk any money to bet on this league because even if I know almost all the Dota 2 pro teams , some of them will tend to try new heroes to find new heroes to draft before TI starts... That's pretty much is happening right now but this tournament is still to be taken seriously as the prize pool is still decent. While Clavision Snow Ruyi tournament is about to come next two days from now, there are also notable teams there. Today, the Elite League 2 is on the day 2 and there is still a lot of games but lesser compared to yesterday games and tomorrow.

Anyway, I've got a first blood of my bet and I lost. Oh my Cuyes, I've bet on them yesterday and now they've won against Boom Esports however, I bet for Boom instead of them. They betrayed me!! hahaha.  Grin

Yeah remember boltz mentioning about this since the very start of the tournament that the livefeeds were really bad. And it seems they hadn't fix it or don't really care to do it.
This really would impact the exposure of their tournament to the organizers and might reconsider going back. But they have money to pay those who decide where they are held. So maybe the latter in that statement above.

On to CounterStrike: Over in Copenhagen between July 29-August 4 we will have Blast Premier Fall groups.
Of the sixteen teams participating they will be split into four double-elimination groups. With the four remaining advancing to the BLAST Fall Final.
https://www.hltv.org/news/39457/blast-premier-fall-groups-teams-format-schedule-talent-prizes-fantasy

In the Sky Esports tournament, Mongolz dispatched Aurora quite easily with a pure domination session on map 2.

We will see Eternal Fire going up against 3DMAX next and ENCE vs True Rippers and BLEED vs Parivision.
Haven't heard of any of these teams except for ENCE & BLEED.
But it should be something for those interested in some CS2 action until those teams come together in Denmark early next week.
