We are seeing some surprise results in the Paris major rmr group B matches. I think it was quite surprising that Monte and 9INE started the group with 2-0 after the first day. I think the opponents of these teams were also very difficult, but they managed to defeat their opponents. Monte team beat both ence and c9. 9INE managed to defeat G2 and BIG. We can say that we saw unexpected performances from both teams. The other teams that made 2/2 were not surprising names that could be expected. These were vitality and heroic.

Dreamleague today and we have some strong pairs in early slot. My bet is going on draws in EG vs. Shopify and Aster vs. TSM.
Nice call on both draws, unfortunately, I missed out but i'm surprised SR is doing well even without Abed and most teams are fine with a draw while Team Liquid is sweeping through most of their series.

IMO, if Puppey was replaced, Team Secret would be even worse.
Yup, it's not that easy to find a captain that would be as good as Puppey and I agree Team Secret might be in a worse position if they don't have Puppey who can pick up good players like they always used to in their previous rosters.

We really see where a team has come from thanks to BNE.These players are all internet cafe players and now they are participating from major to major. How weird is that?
Wow, that's cool! It goes to show that hard work (with some good timing) truly pays off Cheesy

Now I will be waiting for the Turkish representative Eternal Fire to get a ticket from the groups to the major. It won't be easy for Eternal fire either, but I think they are working and preparing well.
Unfortunately, EF lost to NIP. However, the first round proved to be quite eventful, with G2, Spirit, and ENCE all experiencing upsets in their respective BO1 matches. There goes the 3-0 dream for G2 Cheesy C9 and Heroic continue to show strong performances though. I'm hoping the two favorites won't face each other, allowing them both to achieve a 3-0 record in this Swiss round.

Are you sure that the team you are describing is Execration because I only knew Execration team exist on South East Asia region and not China. Currently China region is so weak compared when Ame is still active on LGD.

That is correct. I had my mind on Xtreme Gaming and I forgot completely that Execration were in group with Talon just behind them in DPC points. And you're right , China Dota is kinda weak right now and I think it's only patch based problem because they still have huge talents among teams.

Meanwhile , today it seems a 322 day in DreamLeague with 2 games already having a comeback with EG and then Tundra Shocked

Team Secret will always have a personal style of playing the meta of Dota 2 heroes and I'm sure they will promote into Division 1 this year and then , I hope they won't relegate anytime soon.

Maybe they should replace Puppey already in their roster. I think Puppey will better serve the team by being a coach and let the younger players take his position. He is still good, but he is getting old, and his mechanical skills might be not that good anymore. His experience and knowledge of the game is a good resource for the new player that could join the team. He already had his time in DOTA. He should give way now to younger and capable players.
if Puppey is replaced in my opinion Team Secret will be even worse because Puppey is the one who dominates the members of Team Secret to be better in every match. maybe you are right, replacing old players with new players will look good with new experiences. indeed young players can play better, but who are young players who can replace Puppey?
it was difficult to find a replacement for Puppey who was one of Team Secret's mainstay players and after losing Nisha Secret her performance was getting worse.

IMO, if Puppey was replaced, Team Secret would be even worse.

Puppey is still strong players and his experiences helps the team secret achieved the no.2 spot in WEU Division 2. Armel added a new and powerful chemistry to the team and they are currently undefeated with 2-0 in their division. I'm so excited to see the match between the Team secret and Ancient Tribe which is also undefeated and currently number 1 in WEU. OLD G is also the favorite one and I hope they can get the top 2 spot for them to be able to participate in the next DPC season. I commend team secret for recruiting Armel because he is one of the Top midlaners in the SEA and his resume is really fit to the Team Secret. Hoping that their chemistry will become more good and hoping they get the no.1 seed in the WEU division II.

As for the Dreamleague, It is good to see strong teams and players again like Miracle, Sumail, Quinn, Savage , Arteezy and Nisha playing in the same tournament. A lot of crazy fight happen last night and I can say that Miracle is back because he did a good game where he got a 18 mins rampage. They destroyed the top #1 seed in the SEA which is the Talon Esports.

One might think that Team Secret will easily dominate Division 2, but I see that have good competition there. Ancient Tribe is currently leading the group with 3 wins. They even swept Old G in their match, and it is a quick match as well. I think this team will give Team Secret a headache when they meet each other this weekend.

I expected Old G to come on top of Division 2 but they are slowly slipping. They are beaten by unknown teams. Are they not that strong that they can't get out of Division 2?
If Team Secret can hold out against D2 Hustlers tomorrow then we might see them possibly handing Ancient Tribe their first loss.

Old G is still good enough but the region is simply stacked even in Division 2 and last tour there were three teams (Alliance, D2 Hustlers, and Monaspa) that had to fight for the last Div 1 promotion.

Testing my luck on the LPL Playoffs later today, this matchup might look like a toss-up but i'll take BLG over EDG since BLG got two maps out of JDG while EDG got none during the semi-finals.

Today they will play against mouz. Mouz played an excellent game against the last major champion virtus pro. If they show the same performance, it will be easy for them to beat Faze.
It appears to be the case. FaZe continues to struggle, losing their map pick (Nuke) against Mouz with a disappointing 16-8 score, not even reaching double digits. Now they're moving on to Ancient, and it's likely that FaZe will suffer another 0-2 defeat. It's gonna be tough for the players to get down to Last Chance Qualifier right after getting the Intel Grand Slam.

In other news, BNE has claimed the fourth and final Legends spot from RMR A after a hard-fought 2-1 series against Gamer Legion. Well deserved!
BNE deserved to win, especially with the win against Faze they will get a big boost.

Being 2nd on the last TI, they shouldn't be there. I'm now torn how they've ended up being there. Oh, it's because Nisha transferred and resolution as well so there have been points deducted. The system of DPC is I don't know being good or bad to those TI participants.

yeah, after Nisha went to Team Liquid, team Secret is in disarray. Even when they still have Reso in their line up, they cannot win anymore in Division 1. Hopefully, their relegation to Division 2 can help them regroup and find better strategies for them to start winning again. They are off to a good start though. They swept their first two matches so that should mean something. They are heavily favored to win this tour and hopefully get back to Division 1.
On their week 1, they've got 2 matches and all of them got 2-0 as results. So far, that's a good start for them for having an entire new squad for pos 2, 3 and 4. If it's not for Puppey, fans of Team Secret will be gone honestly. But, they're still a top tier team and many tier 1 teams are struggling on division 2 and that's deciding them on what type of team they are. It's just so hard to win games to the point that these are pro teams, having hard times. There's still week 2 and week 3 remaining for the WEU Division 2 tour and more games for Team Secret.

Day 1 is all set and done for the DreamLeague Season 19. Groups A and B matches still has 3 days left remaining until we go to the next level which is the Group Stage 2.

And after the group stage 2, we head to the playoffs and finals. Group Stage 2 will take 7 days in the process so this is gonna be a long group stage but with this, we'll see how teams have prepared well for this because it's a mental draining process for all of them.

All information are posted here --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/DreamLeague/Season_19

And whoever wins this DL S19 goes to Riyadh Masters which has a $15M prize pool.

DreamLeague does not have a small pot either, the prize pool is 1 Million dollars. But the real prize is getting qualified for Riyadh Masters. Riyadh has upped their game. I think last year, the prize pool is just 4 million USD and now it is 15 million. That is a big leap from their first tournament. I guess DOTA is quite profitable for them.
It is and I think there's something to do with the crown prince there as you guys have known, whenever there's a battle pass he's buying a lot of it as if the amount and level isn't costing him much. Well, he's a prince and that's why I guess he's the most influential person to bring a Dota 2 tournament in their country.

Team Secret will always have a personal style of playing the meta of Dota 2 heroes and I'm sure they will promote into Division 1 this year and then , I hope they won't relegate anytime soon.
IIRC, there was this season that they weren't able to get on TI correct me if I'm wrong. But sure is their playstyle is different from most teams but in the pro scene, they're not really unique at all.

Meanwhile , I do see why Execration are dominating China DPC.
Execration is part of SEA not China and currently they're playing in the DreamLeague and after that, they'll fly to Berlin major.

I’m sure they will, They are just on the adjustment when they are relegated but this team is a monster once they are comfortable to each other. I’m pretty sure Armel can play a strong mid with international team mates.

Meanwhile , I do see why Execration are dominating China DPC. They way they are using the map , controlling the lanes and also have team fights is insane to watch! The little details they make during the fights , will make any team they play against them to actually have a fear to engage into full battles. Eyes close on them guys because they could produce a big surprise in DreamLeague.

Even though the Secret team was a bit messy and was relegated to division 2, they still had the opportunity to start from scratch and prepare the team with a good strategy to return to division 1.
Secret are a pretty good team but maybe because it's still early in the tournament they haven't really played well.
But I believe that when they reach the mid round, the Secret team can play well to reach the final round.

But I'm still not sure about the progress of the match at the beginning because it's still difficult to predict in each match who will be the winner.

I think the game abilities of players like Twistz, Ropz and Broky are decreasing because of the players you mentioned. Before this major, maybe a change in the team would be good. There are many extra-star players in the team, as well as heavy players, which can cause imbalance and bad results. As far as I know, FaZe will go to the last chance elimination, How will they save the situation it's hard now.
I don't think it makes sense for them to change anything before this major RMR as they've just won the EPL S17 and Intel Grand Slam. They were looking really strong there, only losing once to Vitality. So this 3 losing streak in a BO3 against non-T1 team is shocking. Yup, can't wait to see how they'll perform in Last Chance Qualifier. I hope they can get a spot though.

Anyway, EU RMR B starts tomorrow. Who do you guys think will secure the three Legends spots? My favorites are G2, C9, and Heroic. Will we see a series of upsets similar to those in RMR A?

Faze Karrigan and Rain between them have enough years between them to call this team old, though the other players are younger.  It can just be a top team needs a break or similar, they cannot be top performance all the time I dont think that many teams maintain that top level.   Fnatic old team and only a couple others were that consistent.

With Col vs MIBR now I think Col does win it but its close enough to go with 3 maps are the safest bet.  Whoever wins it should be struggle not a straight win.
