Nisha and Team Liquid's chemistry worked right away because Nisha is such a versatile player with huge experience at top-level games and Liquid is also willing to adopt Nisha's playing style. Unlike BOOM, he needs to adjust and acclimatize to the playing style of Puppey. No way Puppey is going to accommodate BOOM's possible proposals and style of play. After all, Puppey and Team Secret have too much experienced, it's either they will change the line-up again later or BOOM will start to play according to its team's style. I am hoping of course that BOOM will start playing well and become as flexible as Nisha in their next tournament.

Last season, I remember Team Secret was ranked 35th something in the DPC and yet still able to join the TI in the last minutes of the season and performed well in TI.
it's no wonder that Team Secret performance last season was very good, being able to reach the final point of the dota 2 TI match. because at that time Nisha was still on Team Secret who controlled Midlaner and it was not surprising that Nisha was able to balance her team's play to continue to play well in every game.
but history says differently in the DPC match when the new member BOOM who replaced Nisha didn't make any changes to Team Secret. to be honest, I'm really a little confused to see how to play BOOM to compensate for the other team members, it's a little unstable, or maybe BOOM can't keep up with the way the other members play in Team Secret.
if BOOM continues to be unable to adapt to its new team, I think this will only make Team Secret worse and Team Secret must immediately revamp its team formation to create a much better performance.

Latest rumours about this, Ramzes is going to replace him soon. I mean he is decent but he might not fit in that team and he has been pretty bad since last season with Secret
That'll be a good upgrade for Team Secret if that's their plan for the next tour and I wonder who'll be the stand-in carry for DarkSide when they have an upcoming match later today (i'm guessing Noone).

I agree Crystallis is still a good player it's just unfortunate that the team is missing that hard carry playstyle.

XG 2-0 seems tempting against EHOME for the tiebreakers but it's unfortunate that Stake only offers match winner for now.

They were really struggling last season but they got strong after they picked up Reso. I guess, Reso was their missing piece last year. They started winning after they picked him up. And just in time to have enough matches to create chemistry for LCQ and finally TI. They had to go through a lot in order to qualify for TI but they finished strong with 2nd place. And now that Nisha left the team, they are back to finding the missing piece that could make them a contender again.

FURIA were a big disappointment for their fans in the IEM Katowice Play-In stage.

IT is no surprise. They were not that consistent even last season. And it seems that they are getting worse right now.

FURIA were a big disappointment for their fans in the IEM Katowice Play-In stage.

First they were beaten by BIG but they still had a chance in the lower bracket. However things didn't go well there as well. Despite their being a top tier team now they were eliminated by IHC which are the 36th team in the world rankings. Actually IHC are a team on the rise when we examine the graph of the changes in their position. But FURIA still could have done better. Some top teams really started to surprise people by the results they get recently. Balances have started to be upset.

In a lot of interviews, Puppey has stated that he's always open to how his team wants to play. He's the brain of Team Secret, but he's not the captain that forces you to play on just one hero (ehem, Kuro). You can also see in uploaded pre-game comms that he really considers what his team thinks and not just shove his idea on their throats. The problem mainly is BOOM, as he doesn't seem to be in sync with the rest of the team most of the time. Hopefully he picks up confidence in Div 2, and help Secret achieve better placements and perhaps qualify in the next major.

Last season, I remember Team Secret was ranked 35th something in the DPC and yet still able to join the TI in the last minutes of the season and performed well in TI.

They achieved success in TI Qualifiers thanks to Nisha's stellar performance on most games. They edged out Virtus.Pro in the Last Chance Qualifiers that's why they managed to play in TI and get 2nd place. They could have won TI had it not been for Tundra's boring zoo strats and some cheese from 33. Nisha is what Team Secret mainly is before he left the team, and after that, the team just got lost in the dark.

Just like what happened on their short fall on TI, people were talking about Crystallis as the weakest link in the team.

Latest rumours about this, Ramzes is going to replace him soon. I mean he is decent but he might not fit in that team and he has been pretty bad since last season with Secret

Ramzes has left his old team as well so probably they are finalizing the deal

Anyway, betting on some division 2 game again although I know this one might backfire against me as again

I may have to agree of what I've read with what Fly has said about Boom. Because of the lackluster of team, all eyes are on Boom because he's the one that's new to the team.

Just like what happened on their short fall on TI, people were talking about Crystallis as the weakest link in the team.

With all of this, whether a team is performing well or not, there will always be the one that's going to take the blame for whatever situation they are with.

Its been a while since i watch the replays with the Nigma and Secret and upon checking unexpectedly I thought Miracle- are still in the Nigma and just saw with their new draft which is Amar The F and its really good that they get this man we know his capabilities to win the game and I don't know in my side if the Secret gets weaker because they Remove Nisha in this match upon watching their game its seems like this not the secret we have watch before.

Secret is currently in the dirt right now with their drafting and poor coordination. They would have better chances if their newcomer adapts to what Puppey really wanted to do with the draft. They kinda showed resilience in team fights but they cannot convert those into wins, ending they just lose and lose and lose even in relatively weaker teams than them. While on the other hand, Nisha adjusted pretty well with what Team Liquid wants to do, and it's pretty evident that he's more active in the midlane and does a lot of things in the map compared to BOOM who kinda idles in mid lane and doesn't really do any meaningful rotations to help alleviate pressure in their side of the map.
talking about team Secret, which is now completely different from what it used to be after Nisha was transferred to team Liquid. in this DPC match, Secret performance was very bad and every gold match he got during the match was very bad. Incidents like this should be a whip for Secret coach to continue to improve the Secret team so as not to embarrass the fans who have long made Secret their favorite team.

rotation in dota 2 match it is very much needed. because if one of the team members doesn't understand rotation, surely the team will be overwhelmed to defend the match. as was done in several matches, Nisha preferred rotation to help his friends who had difficulty facing the opponents they were facing.
and in my opinion if the team has a good rotation, it will make the enemy's mentality go down.

I wonder how many hours these guys play each day and what are the deep effects on their health and fight/flight system response (hormones, neurotransmitters so forth and so on)

They probably grind more than we do. If a team has good management, they will strive for their players to maintain a balance lifestyle and not just focused on their games. Give them enough rest, feed them well and have them do some physical activities to keep them healthy.

I saw an interview before although I forgot which team was it. But that was before the covid-19 pandemic. They usually play a minimum of 4 games daily. But of course, they stay in the place for a minimum of 8 hours daily. Aside from playing, they have to discuss a lot of the strategies and teamwork. Like any other team sport, they also do team building and fun kinds of stuff that can enhance their chemistry and confidence. They have days off as well like the weekends. So just like regular work employees, they also have overtime especially when they need to address something and a tournament is about to happen. I can say, they have better lives than a normal working employee.

OG is out.
Congratulations to Entity and Tundra for having the last two slots for the WEU region and they're now going to Lima. Smiley
It was a fun tie breaker and we thought of it as an infinite loop sequence that might take a few more days but then, Tundra just proved that they deserve the slot and if you guys have followed Sneyking on his Twitter account, he's such a funny guy.
.

Too bad I missed the Tie breaker games; it must have been fun to watch. Congrats to Tundra and Entity. OG is still a hit and miss lately. I am surprised they were able to take the tiebreaker to the 3rd round.

We have no quality DOTA to watch until the major. Fortunately, there is plenty of CS:GO to watch.

OG draft is not the same as  before when they fight against their second TI champion upon checking with their draft its not on the meta for now, even the Panggo cant sustain their TB unlike the Entity draft they have the damage dealer with the NP and DP which can easily burst up the TB and also the sustain with the Undying and crowd control of the Tiny, they want to use the old strat of holding for the long game, which is the Treant and expecting for the HG of the TB and SD combo which is not efficient, invoker easily kill puck that's why cause of delay and unexpectedly building with the Aeon Disk.

Yeah, truly fun to watch and it had never happened before when it's like this. Although there were some tie breakers before that have been almost like this but IIRC, that was just of a short thing. We'll miss a lot of good teams for this Lima major but that's it.
It's not always that the strongest teams are part of it and they have to take that loss as a motivation so that they'll do better for the next major. Time is going to fly so fast and they all have to take care of each DPC tournament for the points system.

Anyway it’s good that Entity and Tundra will go to the major since OG is so inconsistent with their performance especially the supports. Majors will be good with this additional 2 teams from WEU. I’m sure WEU will once again dominate this major competition since most of the qualified team has a solid roster and consistent performance. Other region is not on the same level of WEU though.

Out of all the regions, I enjoyed watching WEU DPC matches the most. It is just played differently and more competitively. I am sure they will be dominating the Major again with Chinese teams right next to them.

Nigma had a rough start as well in this DPC run. They were not able to match the aggressiveness of ATF in their first few matches. They improved though late in the tournament but was not able to clinch a slot for Lima Major. They just avoided being relegated to Div 2.

For Secret, they are not that lucky to pick up Boom as a replacement for Nisha. I do not know what will happen to this team. Are they going to replace Boom, or they will still give it another shot? But knowing Puppey, he will probably replace Boom.

yeah I know I wrote about probably not going to bet on the division 2 games but its Alliance though with their new roster so I dont want to miss this because Im going to watch this. Well there isnt anything to watch so there is no reason to skip this I guess. Pretty interesting odds that I got there as well

I should have seen this coming as division 2 is really volatile but overall its good because I got the chance to grasp how bad Alliance is and probably possibility of never taking them on any bet again in the future Roll Eyes Well its still fun to watch until we get something from the Major

IEM Katowice Play-In matches have started and the first eight teams are going to join the main tournament later on.

So far there is no surprise and favourite teams are doing a nice job. Cloud9 - ENCE was an interesting series actually but there wasn't a surprising result at the end. Cloud9 met the expectations by winning 2-1. At least ENCE weren't demolished by their opponent which might be a good thing for them. ENCE actually have really skilled players in their roster but somehow they can't make much improvement in their performance. This will always keep them away from being more successful.

Yeah, ATF was the man that replaced Miracle. It's been so long that Miracle is out of action and we don't have any ideas if he's going to be back competitively. But if he decides to just retire, he's got already a lot of achievements and he's got enough money covered for that to start anything he want to outside the competitive life. As for Team Secret, fans will really look at that side because Nisha is certainly one of their assets before but it doesn't mean that Boom is weak.

In fact, they are really bad and barely missed getting kicked out of division 1. That should have been Nigma getting the straight ticket to division 2 if it wasnt because of Secret suddenly flopping so bad this season.
