Vitality's losing to Astralis today was a really big surprise. Astralis actually seemed really vulnerable against Eternal Fire and I thought that Vitality would finish them off. However things went really interesting in the series. Vitality won on Nuke by 16-12 first and captured a 1-0 advantage already. However Astralis' comeback was really incredible. Dust2 and Inferno were successful maps for Vitality also but Astralis defeated them 16-9 and 16-8 anyway.

blameF has been one of the impressive players at Astralis these days. He played a huge role in the win on Inferno by 30 frags. 138.0 ADR was a really impressive statistics of him. I don't really know what went wrong with Vitality today. Actually BLAST Premier is also among the biggest tournaments so I would have expected them to fight harder than this.

Well done by Astralis, They beat world champion Vitality 2-1. On the Inferno and Dust2 map, the tactics given by Gla1ve on the T side were really consistent, and BlameF carried the team very well. Even though Astralis is the underdog in these tournaments, making it a good evening for those who trust Astralis. They are in the semi-finals now. They will play with the winner of the Heroic Sangal match. Sangal had beaten BIG, but I don't give Sangal a lot of chances against Heroic.

It's interesting that the winning teams are mostly coming from Group B and every best of 3 series so far has been a sweep. I also went 3-0 today thanks to Tundra, Aster, and Beastcoast winning.  Cheesy
Big congrats, please share your tips for tomorrow, I am not trusting myself Smiley

Really dropped the ball in this tournament but that is sort of understandable since I watched way too little matches. First 2 games come in the middle of the night for me and rest are while I am working in real life. Too make things even worse I just switched to new company so it is not like I can watch DOTA while working. Been waiting for this tournament for so long and now when it is here I can't properly enjoy it and profit from it.

Good thing the weekend is approaching so I plan to bet a little and watch everything tomorrow and then bet a shitload on Sunday Smiley

It would be idiotic if the players can hear the casters.
It's actually true though as one of the players a few days ago confirmed that they can hear what the casters are saying but i'm not sure if PGL already has a solution though.

Oh, I did not know that. PGL is idiotic then Cheesy I would never think that after hosting 10 TIs they would still commit this type of blunder. They removed the enclosed booth and now they have defective noise-canceling headsets too. Are they skimping too much that they are risking the integrity of the tournament? I wonder how they would solve this problem because it is advantageous to English-speaking teams.

The Vitality-Astralis battle continues. Both teams failed to win on their chosen map, but the match went to the decider map. Zywoo's superior performance brought it this far. Now inferno is being played and vitality is 9-2 behind. I didn't expect such a performance from astralis, they are slowly starting to settle down. It looks like astralis will win the match for now. BlameF made a difference with his performance.

I might pull the trigger on OG -1.5 vs Gladiators since the odds seem too good as they already 2-0'd Gladiators during the groups before. I just hope they wouldn't be shaken up after that loss from Tundra though.

All of the heavy favorites are now in the lower bracket. It is the year where TI is all about upset and underdogs winning. Team Secret is the only favorite left in the upper bracket, and they are not even heavy favorites before because they are Last chance qualifiers.

This is true but all of the WEU team is still in the league and they are now fighting to each other on the next round of lower bracket elimination. Teams on WEU surely still the strongest on all region because 2 of them are on upper bracket clinging to the finals. It will be awesome if all WEU team will remain on the finals.  Cheesy

LGD needs a lot of discipline on there games in able to do a solid lower bracket run like what Nigma did when they are on Liquid. Ame is very consistent so I’m sure they can do this if they will always create space for Ame.

Damn, I watched some TI games lately and turn off by how the year 2022 and the esport event organizer still hasn't a full soundproof booth for players from the sound coming from audiences and casters. God, some was so obvious when the team smoked and the other team pulled back right away cause they knew it from the sound leak from audiences and casters. This is so unfair and makes the whole event seem very low, in my opinion.

I am sure they are hearing the audience. It motivates the players to play better. But I am not sure if they can hear the casters. I think the casters are just for live stream viewers and not the live audiences. It would be idiotic if the players can hear the casters.

On the other hand, Liquid and OG was out lower bracket which is both surprising turn of event. LGD is not trying to beat the giant slayer Boom.

All of the heavy favorites are now in the lower bracket. It is the year where TI is all about upset and underdogs winning. Team Secret is the only favorite left in the upper bracket, and they are not even heavy favorites before because they are Last chance qualifiers.

Hahaha, The result is really terrible especially EG from top straight to airport with just 2 consecutive lose on the main event. On the other match, Boom has a chance to take a map since they have the early to mid game dominance but they can’t address the lack of vision and they keep pushing to have a team fight despite LGD has a better vision control and crowd control on there match despite Boom has the gold advantage. Ame is so good on positioning his Drow Ranger and his teammates is focusing to protect him. I think LGD can go to finals if they continue this momentum.

They are back again on having a good vision gaming that they already lost on there earlier matches.

That is what LGD does best. They always have awesome vision control which is why they are a top team. I thought Boom was going to make a comeback and win the series, but LGD is just consistent. They could make it to the finals, but they will have to go through a lot of elimination matches. And this TI seems to be the tournament for underdogs, so I am not making too much expectation from LGD, but they are still in my teams to watch list.

Today one of the biggest matches happen between the Boom vs the Team Spirit, the boom manage to remove the former TI Champion in this game and they got easily drafted with this lifestealer game the SEA crowd right now in the hype to make another history in this game I guess EG will have a good time here because they are already secured in the upper bracket and give the chance to Boom to make another fight and of course the Boom shows that they well deserve to be part of the game, also right now one of the saddest story is the LGD goes down in the lower bracket.

That was a really surprising outcome to me and i would guess that a lot of people have lost their bet here. It looked quite ok for Team Spirit for the first 20 minutes or so but then everything went into the direction of Boom and then the players of Team Spirit just were to nervous and felt to many pressure and could not turn the game around anymore.
This just proves again that the competition in the Dota pro scene is extremely high and that basically every team is able to beat even the biggest favorites. Also the best of 1 format in the first round also makes big upsets more likely then a best of 3 series. Boom now against PSG.LGD, i doubt that they can eliminate another favorite.

Currently, at the bottom bracket LGD is having a match with the beastcoast right now the Boom are going to the Airport the same as other teams down in the lower bracket, and one of the unexpected events happen is EG was also eliminated in the Finals they got lost in the upper bracket and still cant manage to rise up again with their another lose with the lower bracket, I guess this is the Era for the Team Secret or we got another TI champion people now are losing hope with the LGD.

Sad day in Dota 2 TI for bettors ...including myself as all games were a quick 2-0 that ruined a part of my bets. Who would have think that EG will get beat 2-0 by BC ? Then we had Liquid who didn't have a small chance to take a map and we ended up with PSG.LGD running over Boom in both games. Maybe tomorrow morning will be different as I tend to wake up at 5AM to watch those games but I'm not feeling confident on OG or Entity and I feel both of them will go home tomorrow.

Secret still my favorite to win it all tho. Grin

Cct lost 2-0 to sangal monte team in south europe tournament. After beating Big, maybe mentally they didn't care too much about this match. Sangal didn't show much of a presence against monte. Boros and woro2k were the standout players. They dominated with their performances and made the match easier for their team.
In the north europe tournament, entropiq defeated bluejays. Even though they struggled a bit, they were able to win thanks to mir's outstanding performance.

Heroic beat ecstatic and paired with sangal in the semifinals. I didn't think Heroic would have such a hard time.
Today vitality will play against astralis. I see Vitality as superior to astralis in both roster and form. It may not be an easy match for Vitality, but I think it will definitely win. Tomorrow, it is more or less certain that heroic will be the winner in the sangal heroic fight. But sangal may make a surprise.

LOL, EG got sweep back to back by NA and SA team after being a top seed on group stage. I don’t understand the messiness on there team fight laning phase. There supports seems not coordinated to there cores which makes there important heroes always exposed and no space for farming. Both Thunder and Beastcoast really know well how EG works.
On the other hand, Liquid and OG was out lower bracket which is both surprising turn of event. LGD is not trying to beat the giant slayer Boom.

Yeah i feel it is very hard to predict any outcome so far in this International. First EG totally owned the group stage and looked by far the strongest of all teams and everyone already thought that they would be a candidate for a spot in the grand final and now they lost both of their matches in the group stage with 0-2 against teams that were not among the favorites so far, at least until now. I have a very hard time to pick a bet here.
At least PSG.LGD was able to perform like most people expect them to do and they went through pretty clearly against Boom right now, even though LGD had quite some problems in the beginning of the second match. For me they are still the favorite to win this TI.

I have prepared another betslip and I hope this time I can win  Grin :

- Bad News Eagles win @1.41
- Copenhagen Flames win @1.46
- Vitality win @1.21

Bad News Eagles are playing against 9INE in the ESL Challenger League lower final. They have a very weak opponent as 9INE are not even in top 100. However 9INE defeated them 2-1 in the same tournament two days ago. I just believe that Bad News Eagles would make up for that loss this time. Copenhagen Flames are playing against K23 in the CCT North Europe Series. Honestly this is the most risky choice for me. Because Copenhagen Flames are far away from their performance in the past. But actually their current ranking is an improved version of them. So they are climbing the positions now and pulling themselves together at the same time. I believe them to win this somehow.

Vitality - Astralis is a match that I expect to be one-sided mostly. Vitality are outweighing Astralis too much here. I believe that they will do what Eternal Fire couldn't against Astralis.

I was looking at the comments and saw many bets on EG 2-0 or -1.5. So I was tempted to bet on EG but ML to make it safe. But damn! Another upset and not just a 2-1 but once again a 2-0. All games are 2-0 now with Team Spirit and EG out of the tournament. So, is LGD next to heading on to Changi airport? I am starting to get tempted to bet on Boom +1.5. Few minutes left, I just went on Boom +1.5. Cheesy

This is getting crazier. I haven't made a bet on Liquid yet as it seems like we're in for a day full of upsets. If LGD gets upset, I'm gonna make a bet on Gaimin and Entity as well.

I kinda think that this year is NOT any big names' year. Lots of underdogs and Tier2 teams remain in the upper bracket clinching it out against each other. I feel like this year's TI is more hyped in terms of upsets and the teams that are unexpectedly performing well in the main stage even if they started at the bottom of the group stage. Boom +1.5 doesn't seem to be a bad bet given how most of the teams on PSG.LGD's calibre already left the tournament, or are now battling it out on the lower bracket.

And of course Tundra won 2:0 against OG, to kill our tickets before they properly started. Did not watch this one cause it was in the middle of the night for me bit 2:0 is again quite unexpected for me.

Lower bracket is now full of top teams, will be interesting to see who survives.

Another wild day in SEA TI. Cheesy

All upsets were 2-0, with no mercy at all. Good thing I controlled myself from betting today because I felt like the trend continues. I just broke my curse after my Entity win over RNG yesterday. I hope Last Qualifier Liquid will make an upset too over Aster to complete a whole upper-bracket upset.

Wish granted, Team Liquid loses to Aster 2-0. The Upper bracket first round is now all sweep and favorite teams are now in the Lower bracket.

We still have EG vs Beastcoast and LGD vs Boom left for this day. I feel like I do not want to bet anymore because the upper bracket destroyed me already. I'll call it a day but if I am to bet on Beastcoast and Boom since it seems to be the trend in this TI. Upsets seems to dominate so I will not be surprised if the underdogs will win on the next matches.

Except for the match of RNG yesterday, it seems that the games are too quick. Is it because of the meta or the matches are totally mismatched?

Tundra already a beast in this TI and they rolled OG with a quick 2-0 and kinda exposed Ammar hero pool ? Because they let him to Timber and yet had no impact in team fights only in net worth...and also ruined 1 bet for me as I had OG to take at least 1 map...

My favorite game of the day is about to begin with EG vs BC and it might be another 2-0 as the day so far it's been only 2-0. Shocked
