Idk if this is legit or not, but T1's social media handle announced Topson and Ana as new members of their roster. Terrible edit for Topson and Ana on wearing T1's jerseys but apparently a lot of known names in the industry have been acknowledging this announcement. I thought T1 was going to poach some players from SMG or any other SEA-based teams, but they decided to go all in and get Ana and Topson.

And it seems like it's legit. Even OG's twitter handle commented on the status: https://twitter.com/OGesports/status/1559556112516628481

Oh, this is a nice surprise. I searched it and found an article.

https://afkgaming.com/dota2/news/t1-play-with-topson-and-ana-in-ti11-sea-qualifiers

Apparently, ANA is the only newest addition to T1. Topson is still a stand-in for the SEA region qualifier.

I thought Topson wanted to play to a Europe team, but I guess there is no offer from other teams.

With this development plus the news that FNATIC got a ticket to TI 11 too, then T1 might actually have a chance to enter TI11. There is lesser competition now that FNATIC is not joining the brawl in SEA Qualifiers.

TOPSON has already adopted to SEA game styles, hopefully, ANA will be able to adopt too in a short period of time.

Ana can easily fit in. Remember that he's a SEA legend playing for other Chinese teams for a long time before OG sniped him from IG 6 years ago. Also, I think it's good that they took Topson as a stand-in rather than a permanent guy to let other teams know that if things don't work out for Topson in T1, he's still available to represent any other team. Overall this announcement shook a lot of teams and known figures in the Dota 2 scene. They probably didn't expect Topson to join a SEA team since he expressed that he wants to be picked up by an EU team for mid lane, and I guess no one really wanted to give him that spot on EU.

He doesn't need to fit in because the supports is the one who need to adjust with there role so that they can't limit the potential of there carry and mid laner lime what happened on TSM stand-in on Fnatic during Arlington major. Fnatic will not be that successful for a newly built team if there carry will adjust to there support because it's very hard to adjust on your own gameplay on how carry the game while support main job is to give assistance on there carry.

I haveno comment on the rest of T1 except for Kuku which is showing poor game on most of the T1 recent matches. The reason why T1 always lose these days is because Kuku can't do his job done as pos 3 to harassed the enemy carry. He is always useless during the early and mid game which is the reason why there carry can't catch up on enemy carry no matter how good they was. Karl is good midlaner but it looks like he can't carry his team because Kuku can't do his job correctly.

Remember when I shit talk G2 with their roster Niko, m0nesy, Aleksib, Jackz, hunter? All the talented players but going nowhere? Looks at what they have done to change it -Aleksib -Jackz, +jks +HooXi. Final roster right now is Niko, m0nesy, hunter, jks, HooXi.

jks is okay but I really don't understand why they benched Aleksib. Another episode of Niko wants to make a call and overstep the igl role so they rather slot in someone more tame-able, Like an igl from the tier2 team, HooXi from Copenhagen Flames? Does any old Faze Clan fan here remember the fracture of Faze back in 2019-2020 mostly between Niko and karrigan? Blast is coming in 3 days so dont expect much from this G2 with the new roster, just saying.

If only I had a tournament like this every week, I would write my resignation from work and just watch DOTA while chilling on the beach.
That would be the life, wouldn't it? I would choose that life too if I was that good at predicting. Just chilling and doing what you like the most.
That is the problem, I am usually nowhere near those numbers mentioned up there. This was exceptional tournament for me and who knows when next one will come along.

Somebody up there asked if it was live betting, not quoteing properly since it is PITA on mobile. It was mostly over maps and for underdog to take at least one map. With couple of bets on favorits to win after loosing first map. Nothing in game while the map is live.

I am on totally oposite side here, got vast majority of bets on major correct and ended it with profit of 4k$ and hit rate of over 80 percent. Already lost 1k since it finshed.

That is quite an achievement. I was a negative profit in this tournament. The majority of my losses are with PSG and aster. They totally lost when I bet on them to win, and win when I bet aster to lose. Also, Team Spirit rekt my prediction as well. Better luck next time for me.

Team Spirit, PSG.LGD, OG are very strong teams in the DOTA 2 battle and even though Team Spirit is under attack from many other teams, fortunately Team Spirit can win the "PGL ARLINGTON MAJOR 2022" match so that it can get a position that is still safe and has become an issue. Which is natural for PSG to be able to get the top podium because previously they got first position for up to 3 matches so they could get a lot of pawn savings. PSGLGD has shown a good performance and entered the final journey at The International 2022 which is coming soon.

I am looking forward to the International both for entertainment and for betting. The bad thing is that long before it began, another scandal happened and the waves of hate again flood the community. Due to the fact that Valve calculates the points of the season according to its invented rules, and not according to the rules of ordinary mathematics, the VP team does not receive a direct ticket to Int and Fnatic go instead. An unpleasant story that, in my opinion, harms just everyone, even Fnatic.

It was live betting or just ordinary?

I guess it drained PSG a lot to lose it like that and they weren't at their best in last 2 maps.
At first, I thought Team Spirit would be the first team to get drained since they played two series in a row but that long game 2 probably took a toll on the side of PSG.LGD as they head into the next 2 games.

Also, there's a surprising announcement as Fnatic now gets the 12th spot in the DPC rankings and takes over Outsiders just by one point.

Fnatic will have to fight their way through regional quals for now.

Guess thats pretty much the limit of the TSM members huh, they cant really Fnatic to get the DPC points afterall. Well considering that Boom is already in TI that means they are now literally the best SEA team in the regional qualifiers. Pretty high chance for them to get into TI and atleast top 3 for the last chance qualifiers so its just all good for them

It will still be a blood bath in SEA TI qualifier matches. There are still a lot of good teams in the SEA that did not make the cut.

But what I really want to watch is the Qualifying matches in Western Europe. Team Liquid, Nigma, Secret and Entity. Entity has been a revelation in Arlington Major and I think they are very strong team right now. Resolut1on is now playing with team Secret. He is a very good fit to team Secret as we saw when he stand-in in Riyadh Master. We cannot deny how strong Liquid is even after their performance in Arlington Major. They are still a force to reckon. This Western Europe qualifier will be a bloodbath.

Team spirit is the Arlington Major Champion. What a series they have against PSG.LGD.

I never expected that axe last pick on collapse, that was brilliant. LGD has a good start. They are dominating the lane and even stole the creep stack of miposhka, I really thought LGD will win Game 4 but after the first team wipe, team Spirit took the helm and never looked back. All the controls from rubick and axe, the heal and sustain from chen pushed team spirit to Arlington Major Championship.

PSG.LGD another defeat on a BO5 series. They are really good in group stages and playoff that I cannot believe they will lose in the most important series of the tournament. They have more defeat in the Finals than in group and playoff stage together. Choking much?
That last pick of Axe was really a surprise. That's unexpected as they thought that Collapse would just be using the typical offlaners like what he has used for so many times.

But PSG.LGD have forgotten that Team Spirit is an unorthodox team and hard to read with its picking and strategy and they have a large hero pool.

Congrats to them, proven that they really are the champs.
Even myself didnt really expect for that Axe pick as offlane but it did really end up to be a good counter pick in the end and collapse made out crucial moves which makes things advantage for them and
it was a last pick which we didnt really expect it out considering that last pick of LGD was CK.This is what makes team spirit better than other teams which they had indeed that large hero pool
where it is really hard to predict when it comes to drafting times where banning certain heroes wont really be that much in effect since they could easily make adjustments basing on enemies draft.
Totally unpredictable and huge hero pool which did really a good job. Congrats to the team and hope they would really be that consistent on upcoming The international.

That is correct. Even OG's DPC points are off when compared to actual points. Fanatic still werent going to make it through points as team Outsiders would have been even more ahead of Fanatic if not for the roaster change etc. Fanatic will have to fight their way through regional quals for now.
I cannot fathom how the organization of Fnatic and its players are feeling after looking at the points. From the very since this DPC point has started, many didn't like the system but they have no choice but to adopt it as they can't do anything with it.

Too many contenders on the SEA while the slots are few for them.

Hey guys,

Anyone following the CS:GO qualifier matches?
https://www.hltv.org/news/34398/live-first-upset-occurs-as-road-to-rio-european-open-qualifier-continues

We have some big names here like Movistar, sprout, Mouz, Astralis, etc trying to qualify for the upcoming major!
No upset until now, except for Skade(probably fixed the loss for lunch money lol).

Most of the books are offering market on live matches only, so you won't find the matches in upcoming or events section Smiley

Yes. I first saw it on Facebook when Fnatic fans are showing screenshots taken from the official DOTA 2 website. I think there was an error in the computations in DOTA 2 site and Liquipedia is showing the correct points (2 digits round-off). Unless there are penalties? But it will be weird if the penalty is less than a single point. Here is my calculation;

  120.0000 -1st major regional qualifiers.
78.0000 -Supposed 1st major. 130 less 40% for the substitution.
  198.0000 -Sub total
168.3000 -Less 15% for player removal
    20.0000 -2nd major qualifiers
  188.3000 -Sub total
160.0550 -Less 15% for player removal
  500.0000 -3rd major qualifiers
  360.0000 -3rd major
1020.0550 -Total DPC points

And just as EG and Outsiders barely made it into the top 12 for an automatic TI invite. I have here the most painful award, and it goes to Fnatic. Cheesy Peace Fnatic fans, I can feel the pain with that 0.05 DPC points differential.

Btw, have you seen the dpc points for Fnatic? It seems that the dota 2 leaderboard shows that they're the ones qualified and up by a few points for TI and not Outsiders.

Still waiting for some official announcement from Valve.

Yet my hunch to the outcome of this majors come through. Too bad I got change of heart after watching LGD destroy TS on upper bracket finals and abstain on betting to the championship game ML. It’s a roller coaster ride for TS but still they manage to climb back again and beat the team that put them on lower bracket. They deserve to be called the best as defending TI champion.

You got that right. Teams figured out PSG.LGD on Best of 5 series. They dominated the whole Arlington Major tournament until the BO5 series with Team Spirit. I really thought they would take this home after a very strong performance in group stage and playoffs.

Don't think anyone held anything back in the final no matter incoming TI. That second map was one of the best I have ever seen and then I had to call it a night and go to bed. I guess it drained PSG a lot to lose it like that and they weren't at their best in last 2 maps.

Congrats to Team Spirit, they showed once again that they are on their best when it matters most.

That game 2 is really draining. They almost got the w in there when they got the mega creeps but they keep losing the team battles that made Team Spirit get back and win the game. Feels like how they lost to OG in TI8.

On the side not, I feel like they are trying to do something with Naga Siren but they failed. If it is a failed experiment in preparation for TI, we do not know. I guess we will see if they continue that draft on TI.
