I have bet for OG and lost it but that's fine but what's surprising is that they might forfeit this TI qualifiers because of not having a full roster. There are PGL rules about it and they're only allowed to sign a stand-in for one day. They've released a statement about this because Ceb's wife is laboring for their baby so, Ceb is likely to choose to support her wife than to support the team for this qualifier.

9Pandas are going to face Yellow Submarine and this is going to be the lower bracket finals, whoever wins here gets to the grand finals for 1win.

In the SA, currently, the game is live with Leviatan (Kpii's team) and Boom Esports and this is the 3rd and decider game. Whoever losses, will be eliminated. Too many teams we won't see this TI.
That lower bracket final in the EEU qualifiers should go in the way of Yellow Submarine because the h2h favors them, but 9Pandas did manage to beat Navi while Yellow Submarine struggled against them.

The SA qualifier matches for today already ended with Boom Esports and Cuyes Esports advancing to the lower bracket semis, while the upper bracket final ended with Heroic winning and securing the first SA spot.

I agree, they have a lot of decent teams, but it is what it is since their best team always struggles in the bigger tournaments.
That was hell of two regions at the same time for this day. On the EEU region, it was too easy for the 1win by beating 9Pandas in a straight 3-0 to their road to TI.

And on SA, it was just finished and I thought that Boom Esports are going to win it with their medusa tiny but it seems that beastcoast was the better team today.

Good luck and congratulations to 1win and beastcoast. This has now finally ended the qualifiers for these two regions.

I am following the Closed TI Qualifiers of the Eastern Europe and I think that we're going to see the child prodigy, satanic of Yellow Submarine on TI. Although they're not yet qualified but they're at the top of the bracket for which they're going to face 1win for the semi finals before finally entering to the grand finals. Both teams has a better chance since whoever lose on this match are going to the lower bracket while waiting for the two series that will end from there below. The current series and matches that we'll wait aside from these two that I've mentioned at the upper bracket finals, are these from the lower bracket;
With VP already eliminated by L1ga team, we could see another new team in TI. I guess Yellow Submarine has a good chance of making it in since they had an impressive lower-bracket run in the Riyadh qualifiers beating 1win before falling short against NaVi.
And with the current update today, NaVi eliminated L1GA team. And on the other side, Night Pulse won the first match against 9Pandas. This is just so wow, and you're right mate that we're going to see some new teams for this qualifier going to have their ticket to TI. And if it's not a new team then we'd see new roster if ever NaVi survives with all of this. So, for overall of it, definitely new faces that we're going to see representing EEU although they've got already is one team that is qualified from their region through direct invite and that's BetBoom.

And going on with the South America region, it seems that it's taking forever with their qualifiers. Two days from now, when these two regions are done with their qualifiers then we're going to see the SEA and Western Europe qualifiers on the go. I'm so excited and they're all strong teams, tier 1 or tier 2. No tiers IMO should be classified with all of them as being on the qualifier is already likely an achievement but that doesn't stop there.

Today in less than an hour, we have the grand final: Spirit @1.48 v Natus Vincere @2.50. Both sides reached this stage without losing any match. I think 2.50 looks nice to bet on the underdog here. Both of them are in very good shape in the end.
Team Spirit got the 3-1 win, but it was still a tight series that could've gone either way since NaVi lost a bunch of crucial rounds in the second half of the first two maps.

We've got some other familiar names like V-Tune in NP and definitely we won't miss 9Pandas but both of these teams are in the lower bracket and they have to get through the hardest route to get into the grand finals.

The pre-live odds are the same for the Spirit vs. Vitality, with Spirit hovering around 1.70 while Vitality is at 2.10~. In the end, Team Spirit took out Vitality on Anubis. Vitality had a good 4-0 start in the T-side, then gave up four consecutive rounds to Team Spirit which shouldn't happened knowing Anubis is very T-sided.

I agree with Virtus.pro's value odds, but i'll take NaVi after seeing them show up during the groups.

Yes, Spirit made a really good comeback after losing the first map.  Smiley  Congrats on your win mate by the way. It wasn't like a big deal for Natus Vincere to win by 2-0.  Grin

They were really good on Anubis and Mirage both. Virtus.pro performed way worse than I expected. The team contribution in frags were really poor.

I have missed the odds of Spirit v Vitality series. It is 1.70 for Natus Vincere and 2.00 for Virtus.pro now. I think it is worth giving Virtus.pro a shot. As a reminder, they already beat Natus Vincere once in last Major (2-0).

There is the BLAST Premier Spring Final recently on CS2.

Here is the current bracket:

G2 were eliminated in the group stage already after losing to Spirit and Vitality. However I wasn't expecting FaZe to say an early goodbye.  Sad  Now in the semi finals there are 2 teams that previously secured their places in the World Final: Spirit and Natus Vincere. Because of that I would like to see Vitality or Virtus.pro winning the Spring Final to secure a place.

South America TI Qualifiers has started. I've got three countable teams in here, Heroic, Leviatan and Boom Esports.

But sadly, Boom Esports is currently on the low bracket and this is going to be a tough way for them. While the two others are currently moved on to the next bracket at the top.

And they're going to face each other tomorrow so someone is going to the lower bracket too.
I'd also put beastcoast as one of the few teams to look out for since they performed well on the Riyadh Masters qualifier after beating Boom Esports twice.
Yeah, bc is also a good one although they've got a different roster this time and their former TI roster have been scattered already.

Boom Esports will require a perfect run to qualify for TI, and so far the teams that qualified are from the upper bracket. They'll be the first one if they pull it off and it won't be easy as they could face Leviatan and beastcoast in the deeper rounds.
They have a tougher road than everyone else on this qualifiers. Anyway, I'm not expecting them to survive this tough competition there but I hope that they'll prove me wrong.

and it's sad that the LGD won't be participating this year's TI when they've been participating it for more than a decade.  Undecided
The org had some financial problems and it's why their squad hasn't been producing enough good results, but still, they qualified for the other tournaments.
That's true, I don't know how that happened when they're always part of the biggest prize pool tournaments and they always end up with some good placing. But I don't know how their operation expenses are and I have no idea how to operate an organization so basically, it's really a lot of concern for them to budget everything. I guess that from their situation right now, they can produce greater talents and have a development program for the future not just for their organization and team but also for their region as there's a need to produce a lot of new talents on this new era.

Earlier today, i've watched some of the CS2 matches from the Blast tournament, and it's nice to see Navi gaining form after seeing them always on and off in some of the recent tournaments they've been on. Also, their path to the finals seems the easiest as they'll be facing the winner of Astralis/Virtus.pro while Team Spirit has to face Vitality or Faze.

The International's China region closed qualifier is now finally done. Yesterday, Team Zero won against Azure Ray so TZ have taken the first slot for TI's qualified team in their region.
Today, Azure Ray played against G2 x IG but before G2 x IG played against them, they have to beat Team Turtle first which is another team that's composed of experienced, notable and known players from China. So, this is a memorable day for the G2 x IG because they have to go through with two great teams before they've finally taken their ticket going to this year's TI. Way to go for them and with their match against Azure Ray, it was a reverse sweep that they did there. So, congratulations both for Team Zero and G2 x IG and it's sad that the LGD won't be participating this year's TI when they've been participating it for more than a decade.  Undecided

A recap of what happened:

By the way xQc must be an insane guy to bet $100k on 2-1 score for G2.  Grin  He is streaming on Kick so I don't know if the money is sponsored by Stake. But the amount is just huge anyway for a bet like this.
That's probably sponsor money since he's still consistently streaming on Kick. The impressive part is that his correct score bet got him more winnings than G2.  Tongue

While waiting for the TI closed qualifiers, i'll take a shot at one of the many bo1 matches at the YaLLa Compass tournament. Mongolz are on their way to top the group and Heroic is potentially going 0-3 based on their struggling form.

G2 made it happen and beat Vitality 2-1. I'm glad I didn't make a bet on this match because I would've gone with Vitality assuming they're back on form after taking down Team Spirit.

I also didn't make any bet on this one. But I wish I did because I was thinking of taking a chance with G2 win here.  Sad  With this win G2 have secured a place in IEM Cologne. Now the decided teams are MOUZ, FaZe, G2 and Spirit. 4 more teams to come by ESL ranking. I guess this means Vitality, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro and Astralis are going to fill those places. Apart from these, 8 more teams are going to join by play-in.

LOL.. Who knew that the G2 team, which came to the tournament with a substitute player, would win the cup, and I would probably choose Vitality. The absence of HooXi gave G2 the cup, I think it shouldn't happen anymore. Stewie has done well even though he hasn't played in the pro arena for many years. Stewie, maybe the team can become permanent and they can make a new contract after this tournament.
Yup, it's so random and the last time I can recall we saw a CS team this successful with a stand-in was when s1mple played for Team Liquid. I still have doubts about Stewie potentially being picked up by a team because he didn't stand out as much when you look at his stats.

China on the other hand has 3 slots on Riyadh master which is pretty weird
They probably based those extra slots on the EPT leaderboard as G2.IG and Azure Ray are the next two teams that could've received an invite.

I would have done so as well lol. If I wasnt that occupied with UCL then I would have, kinda forgotten about this after the UCL game lol as I was probably abit washed up after the game

Anyway, the Riyadh Master regional qualifiers are kinda fun to watch. Currently watching Nigma but yeah I dont really have any expectation with them anymore but you know its my soft spot so Im still hoping that they would win

Virtus Pro actually qualified easily by winning every single map in EEU qualifiers. China on the other hand has 3 slots on Riyadh master which is pretty weird
