Team Secret got it done, but it was so sloppy that they almost lost it in the late game despite having mega creeps. VP nearly pulled off that game-ending backdoor, but Team Secret's Lifestealer was quick with the infest disarm on Lina.

Today, i'll go with Aurora to beat Shopify Rebellion, my main reasoning here is because of their matches against BetBoom, I know Shopify did look great during their win against Team Liquid, but there are still limits on the type of drafts they can roll with their stand-ins.

I have mostly missed the first day of the PGL Wallachia Season 1. But let's have some recap, most of the matches were 2-0 except for the match of Azure and Nouns where the Nouns have won but with a 2-1 standing.

Totally cant believe that Nouns could win against AR though, I guess its kinda hit or miss sometimes when you pick the china region team to win. On one game, they would destroy their matchup but on the other game they would just flop so bad
Well, it doesn't matter anymore now because both of them got eliminated already. I am not enjoying this PGL Wallachia to be honest because games are too quick and this group stages is a bit of hasty. But that's how the format goes and they've got 1.1 and 2.2 but they're still in for the remaining rounds of this group stages.

Anyway, Im not sure if any of you guys pay attention to the group stage but we are using bo3 format on group stage which is pretty rare nowadays. Im sick of bo2 group stage, it totally lacks the excitement Im looking for because normally the game gets more intense after games got to 1-1 point so on the 3rd map usually its alot more exciting
I wouldn't say that this is actually rare but we've been used to the best of 2 format every group stage or first round format. I think this is a quicker way to eliminate half of the participating teams and as they organize this, they're doing something that's not common although, this isn't new at all. Points system is what best of 2 does but this best of 3 really just shows who wins the series and not.

With only the PGL Wallachia matches scheduled for today, here's my parlay (@2.62) for the next two series. Playing it safe with Team Liquid ML, they should beat the weakest EU team in this tournament within two maps, but you never know with Team Liquid's experimental drafts. Then the value pick on Team Secret because VP isn't performing any better and their odds might've been inflated after that 2-0 sweep against Heroic.

Good luck. Team Liquid already took the first map.

The 2nd map is in and it seems that this is a close fight as I am watching it right now. Both teams are in danger of getting eliminated for this group stages and rounds.

That's why they badly need to fight for it as they have no choice if they want to continue.

Today is the day for the grand final in the ESL Pro League!  Smiley

The odds are showing Vitality as the clear favourite. It is 1.35 against 2.90. MOUZ have even bigger odds on some websites like 3.00. I don't think it will be 2-0. I hope to see some competition but a Vitality win by 2-1.

However I don't want to just bet on Vitality win. I want to go for some surprise here. MOUZ have really attracting odds.  Grin  It looks worth giving a chance. The worst case scenario, I would watch the series more excitedly.

Congrats on your win mate.  Smiley  It was really difficult to make a choice between FaZe and Vitality. But it was too easy for Vitality unexpectedly. There wasn't a proper challenge.

As I predicted, Vitality beat Astralis in the semi-finals and now they are in the grand finals. There will be a match between MOUZ and Vitality in the final of ESL Pro League season 19. Definitely Vitality wasn't comfortable Astralis won the Mirage map and it wasn't even the map they chose. Vitality equalized the score in overtime at Vertigo. There was Astralis who started the Inferno map very well on T side. It was surprising when they started so well, but they could not maintain it in Inferno and they lost, as I said, Astralis pushed Vitality very hard.

And for this round 2, the match of Aurora and Betboom has already started. It seems that we don't have that much attention that are being brought to this tournament, where you at folks?

I'm opting for Astralis @1.32 and FaZe @1.95. FaZe are shown like the underdog by a small margin but I think we will watch them progress.  Smiley

Well I wanna stick with Faze but Vitality was pretty impressive so I think Im sticking with Astralis for today as well as Vitality. 1.32 odds for Astralis is actually pretty low, I got them for 1.4 on Roobet so probably on Rollbit as well because both of these two shares the same provider I guess and even their sportsbetting UI are pretty similar to each another

Anyway, best of luck to our bets tonight ! meanwhile Im watching PGL Walachia, no betting at all but only enjoying the game
In the Vitality - Faze match, I watched the entire Nuke map and came across Zywoo's masterpiece. What kind of awm did he use today lol. While on the ct side, Faze players could not do anything. In the Vertigo map, Zywoo was even better in terms of frag contribution and they won this map as well, so both of your bets were very successful, congratulations. I expect Mouz and Vitality to match in the  grand final.

The current look of ESL Pro League is like this.  Smiley

Complexity really haven't beaten NaVi for nothing. They are still in this fight and have reached the semi finals already. However I don't see their chance high against MOUZ. Bookies also give 1.42 odds for MOUZ win while it is 2.70 for Complexity. However I think Complexity will win 1 map at least. I don't expect them to give up too easily.

What are your thoughts on the other semi finalists?

This ended up pretty close though. VP was probably 1-2 game away from losing on the 3rd map but they somehow made that crazy comeback. Im not sure how they actually got into that situation lol as I didnt watch everything because of the UCL. Anyway I got my 4/4 and yeah it was a great bet. I cant actually believe that Faze managed to clean up Navi with 2 straight maps lol
That Ancient CT comeback from VP is wild, I grabbed their live odds in the second half while they were still down 8-11. The Mongolz kept doing force buys that kept VP's economy low enough to be broken in the next buy round, but they're always getting outplayed by VP and failed to get a single one even with a man advantage.

Faze almost threw that second map away from 11-6 to 12-12. Navi did their best to force OT in the second half, but Faze woke up to deny a third map.

I also fell for BetBoom, they're close to 2-0ing FlyQuest once they had the lead in the second half of Mirage, and then it all fell apart.

The Navi vs. Faze rematch might be a toss-up, but I like Faze's chances after Complexity stunned Navi from the group stage.

Regardless of the small odds, the VP and G2 series are the only ones i'll be betting on due to an ESL promotion, and i'm avoiding the Team Liquid series as FlyQuest can force the upset.

So in the end it was Betboom that ended up not making it to the next round. I thought it would be easy 4/4 obviously favourites would win but yeah Betboom literally sucker punch me lol. Im probably gonna do another parlay for the next 4 games trying to hit another 4/4. G2, VP, Team Liquid and probably Faze Clan again. Navi seems promising though but I got burned on the last one for not sticking with Faze Clan so I'll probably gonna stick with them on the next game

So any thoughts on the first 4 playoff round of 16?
I also like those four teams to advance, but i'm more confident on Faze and BetBoom. The odds on G2 and VP are too low, it's too risky when these two recently lost to weaker teams.

Hey folks, how are you? Not that much action this time for Dota 2. But I have seen this thread[1] on reddit of Dota 2 about the come back of TNC Dota 2 and I just want to know what do you think about it? is this for real? Will Kuku and the old TNC members will be taken back by the TNC organization or they'll start with a new roster? If I'll be the one to answer and do changes on it, I'd hire kuku not as a player but as the coach of the team. He seems to be an effective coach and he'd share his experience to the players and I'd add some new young bloods on it probably the younger ones who's a carry and mid lane as they're more aggressive and fearless. The replies on that thread are actually fun to read.

For those people who do know TNC or simply on SEA then for sure they are really that eager or wanting to see for this team to come back and i have seen that announcement on have already the roster but it seems
those covered or shadows look familiar and pretty sure that there are really some of those former members that would really be joining up on the team on which i could say that this is really that looks interesting.
They would be keeping on making up those kind of switching up for testing out for the team to have that more capability on lasting up more or longer on those tourneys or majors or whatsoever.
When it comes to support then TNC does have that kind of high impression but of course lets see if their new roster would really be able to build up that hype of their comeback.
I don't even think that silhouette has something to do with their actual roster. It's just like a display and there's no relation to the actual players that they're about to hire/rehire. What I like on this team is that they're eager to get achievements rather than switching rosters from time to time if they're unsuccessful. They're hiring coaches that are better to help them than of players to replace one another. Because compared to BLR, they're going to break momentums and we've seen that switching players everytime they fail to achieve success to a tournament, it's not going to work at all. I am not expecting a lot anymore with this team because like many have expected when Abed goes back to the SEA with BLR, instead of successes, they've got a lot of failures even til' now with that visa issue to PGL.

Got some updates about the current tournament which is the EPL Season 18. Mouz is doing good not until they beg off to continue on this tournament because of the conflict of schedule for another tournament which is the PGL Wallachia Season 1.
They're so lucky to participate in that tournament after Tundra failed to secure their visa, and OG declined the invite due to them having other plans.
That's true, there is another team that can't secure VISA for this tournament and that's Blacklist International.

In conclusion, they will be out of this tournament and Azure Ray is going to secure and replace the slot that's for them. What lucky teams indeed.

Therefore, Mouz and Azure Ray are already an official part of this tournament. Too bad that Blacklist can't participate on this one because AFAIK, this is going to be their biggest tournament participation.

Blacklist International couldn't secure visas for PGL DOTA 2 Wallachia Season #1, despite multiple extended deadlines.

With no other SEA teams holding visas to attend the tournament, Azure Ray has stepped in as Blacklist’s replacement, fully prepared to join the event.

I'm not sure about the updated Vitality logo, and yeah it used to be white and yellow. Maybe they just wanted to update their logo including their merchandise, some teams do it almost every year.

Obviously, the latter has a better prize pool than of the former and that's why they have to adjust. And this tournament is about to happen in 3 days time.

With whopping $1M in prize pool, this is a tier 1 tournament and will be participated by regional best teams that have qualified for it. The best teams are here, Falcons, Team Spirit, GG, Team Liquid, XG and many more. 16 teams to be exact.
