Congratulations to Team Falcons, they are our DreamLeague Season 23 champ. Their prize: $300k and 6k EPT points.

Gosh Falcons again huh. I had my hopes when GG knocked them out to the lower bracket. I thought it would be atleast way more fun for the grandfinal as we wont get another 3-0 but oh well guess it happened again

Time to switch back to cs2 again, we probably wont have any top tier tournaments on dota2 next month as every teams would seems to be preparing for Riyadh Master on July. I was really hoping we would get something before Riyadh Master, the new patch are pretty fun

By the way there was a CS2 tournament with a huge prize pool named CCT Global Finals. The pool was $500k.  Grin  There were teams such as Eternal Fire, fnatic, ENCE, Astralis, Liquid and 11 more teams.

Eternal Fire managed to beat Liquid by 3-1 in the grand final and became the winner of the $250k prize as well. What a performance that was though!  Grin  Liquid are right behind us in the rankings and this was a really big victory as a result. I'm so proud of our players. The improvement is real and I hope to see them doing a bigger work in next Major too.

We are ranked #10 in HLTV rankings now. I hope we stay as a Tier 1 team for a long time.  Smiley

The Eternal Fire team made a crazy start in Inferno and showed that they would suppress Liquid in the rest of the series with their comfortable play. It was comfortable for Eternal Fire in the other maps. We became the team that won the tournament with a 3-1 victory. Even though it was not a tournament with big prizes, the teams in the tournament were challenging teams, so it was a good experience. Being successful in such tournaments is very important to be comfortable in big tournaments. As they gain success, the team will be more comfortable in other big organizations.

Yeah, Team Spirit isn't part of the Dream League and I think there is something to do with the points and placing for the direct invites for the past tournaments. Anyway, as for XG, they have lost against Team Falcons and now at the bottom losers bracket they will be facing their other chinese team which is Azure Ray.

ESL now follows point system IIRC in able to qualify to the tier 1 tournament. Team Spirit doesn’t participate much on lower tier tournaments that’s why they are not qualified to join on the current season of Dreamleague. Until now I’m still trying to catch up on the tournaments mechanics since I heard that DPC points is already removed and change to EPT points which is main factor for the direct invites for major tournaments.

Happy to see Ame is now playing on XG with his old teammates. He is still pretty solid pos1.
There's not that much change for the points system, they've just renamed it from DPC to EPT. And you're right for this Dream League, the points have been based on their past tournaments and that's why Team Spirit wasn't there. And now, this DreamLeague Season 23 is done and you know what folks?

Even if many doesn't like to see Team Falcons win this another major tournament, they've just won it and after falling to the lower bracket by Gaimin Gladiators, they went through the lower bracket against BetBoom and went back to the grand finals.

When GG won against them on the upperbracket finals with a 2-0. Team Falcons won 3-0 on the grand finals against GG.
Congratulations to Team Falcons, they are our DreamLeague Season 23 champ. Their prize: $300k and 6k EPT points.

Congratulations to Team Spirit for winning the PGL Wallachia Season 1 as the grand finals champion, winning 3-2 standing against Xtreme Gaming. What a nice game, this is the kind of Dota that we all want and Team Spirit is always like this when prize pool is quite big.  Tongue
Prize;
$300,000 for Team Spirit
$175,000 for Xtreme Gaming.

We will have a rest in less than a day and we'll start with the DreamLeague Season 23.

Well this is pretty weird. I was sure that XG was going to win the tournament but it ended up with Team Spirit winning it despite that they were having it pretty rough for the entire year. Team Spirit wasnt even qualified for the next DreamLeague because they were doing so bad and yet they won against XG so Im totally clueless now lol.

On top of this, I mentioned it like a month or two ago that Team Spirit would probably sign a new player after all those bad results but they ended up making it to the top without any new player. Dang

Both teams are great and for sure a chinese team advances to the next stage of this bracket.  Tongue

What painful day for the Aurora Esports, they've lost the 3rd map by default against BetBoom when it's possible for them to win it.
Anyway, BetBoom didn't disappoint them moving on the next round when they have won against Tundra Esports. Now, whoever wins Azure Ray or XG will face BetBoom.

While at the top bracket, it's going to be GG and Team Falcons.

It was unusual for XG to look flat after cruising throughout the tournament, but Team Spirit was so locked in on most of their series.

Team Spirit probably remembered the Riyadh Masters which is only a few months away and falling short of that DL qualifier gave them a wake-up call since there is a bunch of scenarios for them to miss out on the direct invite.

I also recall you mentioning that potential roster change twice because they had two group-stage exits. Tongue

Going with the Dream League S23, I am currently watching the match of XG and Aurora Esports. It sucks that they're currently paused in-game and I don't know how many minutes the pause has been with already.

Since this is an online tournament, I guess that XG is having problems on their internet connection through their hotel room or wherever they're playing right now. It's obvious that they can't go back to China yet and the server to play in for Dream League should be in EU.\

This is in favor of them as they can rest for a few minutes while it's currently on pause.
Technical problems could really happen with these tournament on which it would really be held on their own camp or location on which internet issues could really disrupt their gameplays which it do really sucks as a viewer. This is why the best tournament that i do really prefer or do like is the international where everything is set on LAN. S23 of Dreamleague looks interesting as usual.
The recent PGL finals was really on fire in between TS and XG which i do always amaze on how Yatoro plays with carry role and same as with Ame but well
there's only 1 winner and totally not shocking for TS but still a good game by XG.
Me too, I prefer to watch LAN events but they're not exempted with technical difficulties too.

It's good to see that the Dream League staff and admin have a wide understanding this time, and I think that they still give a pause time to each time.

But this time it's bearable and understandable because of the situation. XG won against Aurora Esports (2-0).

All of the series on the group stages are a best of 2.

Why do you think it is like that? I would expect MOUZ to be favoured to win the series. MOUZ are way ahead of Spirit in HLTV rankings as well.

By the way I wish BetBoom won at least one match. The tournament is sponsored by BetBoom but its team couldn't do anything.  Sad
I didn't expect the pre-live odds to be set that wide by the odds providers. I guess most of the bettors had high expectations from Team Spirit and Donk since I noticed the odds opened around 50-50 before it started moving to the side of Team Spirit.

BetBoom was unlucky to be placed in the toughest group that had Falcons, Virtus.Pro and MOUZ while the other group had MIBR and Aurora.

Fifty seven minute mark of the game and the clash is so good at the roshan pit when buy backs here and there are out. We're now on the game 5 and no buyback for Ame's Void and XinQ's marci. And they're all dead(XG). Yatoro's antimage has always been so good, this seems to be his best hero and if he's the playing it and you finally get to the late game and with this minute mark, you definitely going to see how hard it is to kill.

Currently, they're playing in BetBoom Dacha Belgrade and might win another tournament since their form isn't slowing down as they already qualified for the playoffs and Team Spirit is the only strong team in the other group.

Today at 4 pm (GMT+3) there is the grand final series in this tournament. It is MOUZ v Spirit. But the odds look very interesting...  Huh

Spirit to win: 1.48
MOUZ to win: 2.50

I didnt know that Betboom made another BetBoom Dacha series on cs2 though. Betboom sponsored teams ended up not making it out to the playoff lol, what a letdown for them as the main sponsors

Anyway we had one on dota2 with $1M prizepool iirc and this one is $500k, still a pretty hefty amount. Anyway given how dominating MOUZ is, pretty sure they would win this series again but before we get to that there is two decider match tomorrow. Im personally going for Falcons but as for MIBR - Heroic, I might pick over 2.5 maps on this game

Still over 16 hours to decide this

However the map results were horrible for Vitality. I don't know how they managed to play this poorly after all that effort until reaching this stage...

By this huge victory, MOUZ have captured a place for the IEM Cologne tournament on this August. Even if Vitality don't manage to win the IEM Dallas they would easily join the IEM Cologne thanks to their ESL ranking so no need to worry for them. But still they should have been more competitive in the final series here.  Sad
Vitality had an off day while MOUZ is just clicking more than usual, always dominating the first half to not allow Vitality to recover in the second half.

I couldn't catch up with the ESL Pro League grand final so I watched the final series late.

And we have a winner, MOUZ!  Smiley

Heck yeah, grats on winning this and thats a very reasonable reasoning you have there. I would have jumped in on SR to win though, Im glad I skipped this one after I read your post lol. I might be abit biased whenever there are Nigma's player in it, totally would love them to win because Im a sucker for them especially Miracle and GH lol

3 spots left for 3 teams tomorrow. Im totally digging SR, Team Liquid and BetBoom on my parlay tomorrow
Thanks, Cheesy I was also initially leaning on SR because having Sumail is always a plus for their team, but there's still GH and they've always struggled without his Tusk.

I'm only rolling with Team Liquid to sweep Team Secret, they're better overall with the team fights and the individual players. Team Secret can still get a map but Team Liquid's wins so far have been only 2-0s.

BOL on your three-legged parlay, SR could disappoint out of the three teams you picked, but I still think they'll push through.

Edit: Just when I cashed out my bet they started winning the first map and Team Secret crumbled from that one mistake. 🤦‍♂️

Today, i'll go with Aurora to beat Shopify Rebellion, my main reasoning here is because of their matches against BetBoom, I know Shopify did look great during their win against Team Liquid, but there are still limits on the type of drafts they can roll with their stand-ins.

Team Secret got it done, but it was so sloppy that they almost lost it in the late game despite having mega creeps. VP nearly pulled off that game-ending backdoor, but Team Secret's Lifestealer was quick with the infest disarm on Lina.
That was actually a crazy game indeed 3 STR heroes for Team Secret, I thought that VP will have a comeback after winning that clash in their bottom barracks killing 4 heroes except DK. Still, they don't have enough physical and magical damage against these tough heroes.

Congratulations, Aurora just beaten Shopify Rebellion for 2-0. Their 2nd map with Arturos sven, it doesn't make sense and don't have enough damage at all. They shouldn't pick sven anymore with this kind of performance. Speaking of Shopify Rebellion, they've welcomed skem for their next dreamleague season: Skem joins Shopify Rebellion’s Dota 2 roster
