I noticed that the Tundra was falling apart right before my eyes. They had problems with the mental component and they were not even helped by a personal psychologist who constantly set them up for the game. One of the culprits of all this was 33, who was dissatisfied all the time and brought even more chaos into this, saying that no one went into the forest with him when he asked. The psychologist was not even afraid to talk about it directly, that the team had obvious problems, and in the end he was right. Nine actually said that he would take a long break from Dota. It's hard to believe that these players were the ones who won TI11, and very confidently. In fact, it is very interesting to watch the further winners of TI11 and TI10, because the TS gained even more strength after that, and the Tundra, unfortunately, weakened altogether.
I don't have an idea of how it goes in the actuality with their own conversations and how they're dealing with each other. But prior to their TI title, they're actually a good team and they've got all the best mentality and that's how we a team get the TI title. They're just like a chill team and they're all good with their respective heroes and roles.

And we have to wait for further announcements on how it is going to be with the team and who's going to replace the entire roster because I guess that Topson will also be out of the team or we will get some surprising news from them. Besides that, it's still one of the best teams but having no longer the original team that has taken and lifted the aegis once, this makes them a complete different team these days.

After Shopify Rebellion announce that they would release Crit- and Abed unexpectedly one of the top tier industry in the world of E-sports Boss Tryke Gutierez, post into his Facebook account a picture of Abed playing a billiard and also in the Stream of Kuku Dota and Tims they are keep saying theres a top player will come in the PH just to play and imagine Abed is Back from the PH and after a couple of days Blacklist posted a Roster full team of Pinoy pride..

  • Tims
  • Carlo
  • Abed
  • Raven
  • Gabbi

No roles announce yet  but i expect here Abed mid, Gabbi Off, Raven Safelane, Carlo Hard support and Tims as Pos 4.
The roles are obvious for respective players. What this team needs now is a foreigner coach because if they're going to get someone who's local, I don't think that there's someone who fits that position. If they will take kuku as a coach, that doesn't look good as well because he's like a laggard now and past his prime. Although experience wise, he can still contribute to the team but IMO, it's better fit to a foreigner coach from other regions.

So there is goes, the roster shuffle has already happened for some teams. But before that, the news about Team Spirit participating the ESL Kuala Lumpur won't happen anymore because they've just said that they need to take more rest and due to health issues and that's why they're not going to participate the tournament.

Okay, moving on, Team Secret has put Heen into inactive as their coach and the same goes for Armel. They have a new roster now, they've added two players on their roster since FBZ was just a loan so, there goes the mid laner and their offlane namely;

  • MidOne
  • BOOM

That's the two additions plus Puppey, yamich and Crystallis.

It looks like Puppey is really confidenet with MidOne. They worked for quite some time and the guy seems to be an okay core overall, although compared to the new cores that are appearing left and right, he's nowhere near the top. He can use the likes of Puppey and Crystallis for help in winning games.
AFAIK, they've got some beef before and that's why MidOne has left the team or he was kicked. But maybe both of them has moved on already so, that's a good luck for their new roster.

For Tundra Esports, only 33 is left on the original roster. Nine, sneyking and skiter are out of the roster while we know that saksa is on health recovering. Skiter, sneyking, ATF, ma1rine and cr1t will be playing for Team Falcons.

There will be more from the roster shuffles, so let's discuss guys.

Perhaps this is the reason why Tundra wants to buy all of GG. Then again, there are some players who are rumored to leave the org, so I don't know if this will serve Tundra any good or not.
And that rumors tend to be true and they're not left with anyone anymore except Topson but it is most likely that he's also going to leave the team soon.

Aside from that, Im not sure why Puppey decide to take back Midone alongside BOOM that he kicked out before lol.

He probably left with no other options as of now huh especially because they gotta start on division 2 (?). Im not sure if they actually will because Valve decided to scratch off the DPC so that means every teams will start on the same division this 1st season? Pretty weird that they have announced nothing so far
Yeah, both was kicked AFAIK. Actually, he's got a lot of option if he's willing to explore more and that's why a lot of roster shuffles always happen post-TI. But since it's just a month away til the ESL Kuala Lumpur happens, they need also preparation and that's why he has decided just to get back the two.

Also, the TI winners won't participate in the ESL One KL as an update was posted through ESL's Twitter . Now i'm curious to see the teams participating in the closed qualifiers since they got the extra slot from TS.
That's sad. I guess that they're going to observe the participating teams while taking a rest that they deserve. They're gonna go into hibernation and will only comeback when the prize pool for a tournament is a lot and they need to take it. LOL.

It looks like Puppey is really confident with MidOne.

If I could bet on when will Midone got kicked out of the team then I would bet on after the 1st Major. This dude cant do nothing at all and did anyone actually watch how team SMG got wrecked in TI? Yeah he made it to TI with SMG but that means nothing at all. Aside from that, Im not sure why Puppey decide to take back Midone alongside BOOM that he kicked out before lol.

The semi-finals in Worlds are about to start as of tomorrow. I have already indicated my opinion on the JDG - T1 matchup. I'm not expecting T1 to be the same as the last MSI. They are performing much better in Worlds tournaments compared to that. I expect T1 to reach the finale by a close score.

When it comes to the WBG - BLG series I'm much closer to BLG side here. BLG defeated Gen.G by 3-2 before reaching this stage. I mean Gen.G were the number one team in Korea before coming to Worlds. Currently I see Korea and China teams are the best in League of Legends. As a result I don't think WBG can resist BLG too much.

There is a possibility that this will not pan out. Tundra is not getting valuable in the acquisition. Might as well just get better players if that's their goal, rather than buy the whole organization which is just an absolute waste of money. They would eliminate some competitions in the region though, which is great, but I'm pretty sure it will easily get replaced with a lot of newer teams comprised of old and new players.
At first, I thought it might just be GG wanting to see how valuable their squad would get if they put their squad up for grabs and maybe they're running out of options. Finding good players could save them money but it might become difficult to pull off now that more orgs are stepping into the scene.

I opened a news site with reshuffles of many teams and I didn’t have the patience to read it all when someone left one and moved to another. Too much happens in 2 days. I'd rather wait for ESL One KL and then look at the team lineups.

In my opinion, the fact that TS won't go to ESL One KL is very good and allows some teams to also express themselves. I’m not the only one, I think, who will find the tournament much more interesting because of this it won’t be dry matches in which Team Spirit wins everything, but perhaps this might not happen due to the loss of motivation after winning TI12.

Organization wise, Tundra is somehow better than GG. Perhaps they want to make GG as a sister organization, or want to rebrand their whole organization as a whole after this purchase. i don't understand these buyouts on the esports scene because they don't mean much compared to sports acquisition wherein teams are merged together for 'better' results in performance..
That's true. Tundra's total winnings are nearly tripled compared to GG, but it still has a chance to not go through if GG can't get the most out of this potential buyout from Tundra.

It will be incredibly interesting to follow ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, but I probably won’t watch Team Spirit games.

Nah I still think you are going to watch them. A year ago GG dominated every tournament until the last 3 tournaments before TI but everyone still watched them play despite knowing that they were heavy favourite to win and this is going to be same for Team Spirit. Its pretty hard to stay on top when there are lots of teams chasing after to defeat you hence the ESL one could be interesting especially on teams with new roster

Hah, maybe so. But I know for sure that it’s harder to stay at the top than to reach it. Teams who aren't at the top have a huge desire to achieve this, while those who are at the top may be more relaxed. Spirit showed such a game on the technical stage in which no one was able to resist, but they won't be able to do this for a long time like Astralis (CS:GO). I'm talking about the golden squad of Astralis, they held 1st place for 121 weeks in the world rankings and achieved this thanks to the fact that they completely changed the approach to training, tactics and grant allocations. Although after that a lot has changed and we probably won’t see such a long dominance, be it CS or Dota.

I'm also going for BLG on the first match and then slightly leaning on JDG for the other series because I don't have the guts to fade the MSI champs.  Cheesy

Another shocking move would be Tundra wants to buy the entire GG team ? That is insane but also why would you do that ? because Tundra looks fine just the way it is.

I could also trow EG and SR here but personally I did expect that EG will disband but I didn't expect they will not form a new team for next year ...which means EG will not participate into Dota 2 pro scene for 2024.  Sad

EG is expected. They're showing very poor results for a long time now. SR on the other hand just needs restructuring, especially with Bulba still on the decision-making aspect of the team. It's been a few years overdue and they are still not heeding to the community's suggestion. They deserve the results they are getting from competitions with it.

So many changes into Dota 2 pro scene that it's really hard to keep up with the actual changes but also the rumors who tend to be eventually true.

The most shocking one for me as a fan of this team was disband of Talon and moving towards Chinese dota when it seems they will assemble a fresh team and 23savage is still there and I'm happy for him.

All of those are rumor and I haven't seen that rumor about Talon, about the disband and they're moving to China region. Well, we have seen this in some other teams that tried to find their luck in other region like EG and Na'Vi.

EG is likely to leave the Dota 2 scene and that's why they're likely to be leaving for good I guess. SPeaking of SR, they have also released 3 of their players.

I watched that kid grow from his roots on Dota 1 to Dota 2, and I can say that he's not lacking experience by any means - he just lacks discipline and consistency. He does a lot of things right as an offlaner and as a midlaner, but oftentimes his composure, alongside his tendency to do stupid thing out of ego and showmanship costs their team the game. I doubt this team will help him hone that, though this has always been the case for SEA superstars. They get a short exposure due to their potential, but often get sidelined by newer names just because they lack the consistency to stay at the top of their game for a long time.
He better take an offer from EU. Usually, the best region now and most competitive is EU, either WEU or EEU.

Both of the regions are great because the games and players there are talented and even not the pro players.

As for 747, this is a very expensive marketing strategy, although an effective one at that knowing that most of their customers are mainly gamers who try gambling as they think they have the knowledge from the game to enable them to win some money.
Yeah, a strategy that will make them catch more potential users of their platform. This investment of theirs hopefully will last up to the next TI because usually many of these teams end up badly and just disbans.

Nine and Stormstomer are already out from their respective teams. Nine chose to leave the team because he's taking a leave and it's understood what he wants for now, to take a break and have some rest after all of the consecutive years of playing Dota 2. That's mentally stressful if you're going to ask me. If they didn't just take Topson on their roster and if Saksa is just healthy, I think this last TI would have been a different result for them. Nine is one of the best and most versatile mid-laners in the entire Dota 2 professionally. We've seen a bunch of unusual heroes that he has played in the mid-lane and managed to win games. If he didn't just transition and gave way for topson and made himself a position 4, it's really going to be a different story at all. While for Stormstormer for Entity, he's an inconsistent mid. Sometimes he's strong and sometimes he's not.

Also, the roster of Talon Esports has been released but I think this squad is likely going to stay and will play with a different organization since they have been released by their organization.

Going with the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. There are already the 4 invited teams and they're the grand champs to top 3 from recent The International.

  • Team Spirit
  • Gaimin Gladiators
  • LGD Gaming
  • Azure Ray

There are rumors everywhere that Tundra is in negotiations with Gladiators, but we don’t know much details yet. I think that they will be confirmed and a big surprise awaits us. As for the fact that Stormstomer left the team, it will be good for Entity, I’m absolutely sure of that. I think he was the weak link. As for Topson, I wouldn't be surprised if after some time he goes inactive again, although due to the likely lack of money this may not happen.
It is likely that most of the strong teams and players have decided to take a break for this moment and I think it will last until next year or January of 2024. I am hearing rumors about a buyout contract and maybe that's going to be from Entity but I don't know who's that player, maybe Gabbi or watson going somewhere until the contract is finalized and done, they'll soon announce the roster of that team.

Talking with GG and Tundra, if there have been negotiations on their end then I think that it's about taking Quinn and likely tofu. The slots for Tundra for mid and pos 4 are open and that's why it's likely that they're the two that will be taken if the rumors tend to be true.

It will be incredibly interesting to follow ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, but I probably won’t watch Team Spirit games. For me, the winner is known in advance, because no one can compete with them and the games turn into a beating for the other team, as was the case at TI12.
Team Spirit has expressed that they're likely to play with stand ins since a few of them mentioned that they're going to go for a break indefinitely.

As for 747, this is a very expensive marketing strategy, although an effective one at that knowing that most of their customers are mainly gamers who try gambling as they think they have the knowledge from the game to enable them to win some money.

I remember 747 became very popular a few years ago. But lately, there are a lot of new casinos that are becoming more popular. And I haven't heard 747 anymore so I thought they already closed its operations. So entering the DOTA 2 scene is a good start for 747. Casinos have deep funds, especially on their marketing so there should be no problem for 747 in terms of budget.

In other news, Shopify Rebellion officially bade goodbye to Fly, Abed, and Crit. Seems like good news to these 3 players as they finally get rid of the unlucky Arteezy and Bulba. I'm really surprised by the team's decision, they seem to have chosen the worst while dropping the better ones. Cheesy
