This weekend the semi and grand final is happening of the BetBoom Dacha 2023. It was kind of sad to see Furia being eliminated after there strong win against Astralis, but both Spirit and Virtus.pro played much better and deserve to be in the semi finals. The first match today is going to be BetBoom vs Virtus.pro and should be won comfortable by Virtus.pro. They are the much stronger team and didn't lose a match yet in the tournament, for me they are the clear favourite. The second match today is going to be MIBR vs Spirit, where I am going with Spirit to win the match. It's nice to still see a Brazilian team in the tournament, but I think Spirit is much stronger and should win easily. Also, the two teams played against each other during the qualifiers and Spirit won 2-0. The most likely grand final tomorrow is going to be Virtus.pro vs Spirit, where I am going with Virtus.pro to win the tournament. They reached the first place in the group stafge and beat Spirit 2-0 earlier this week already. Should be a good final, which might be going into overtime on one match, but Virtus.pro will win in the end.

Yeah, I remember that about Korben and still he insists about that disqualification because of the three players replacement for the roster. I don't know why he's still into it when the fact that Team Spirit was said to be taking a rest for this year and won't participate to this big tournament before this year ends.

I didn't know that there's still some point system because I thought that the entire pointing system(DPC) is going to be changed. Yes, I know that these points aren't with the DPC but with this EPT points, let's see on how teams are going to take it and for sure that there's gonna be another basis for this one.

What people are waiting for now is the Riyadh Masters that's said and rumored to have that $45M prize pool and every team is going to be crazy about it and who knows if Team Spirit is going to cash out and participate that tournament again.  Tongue
But Korben is always in my news feed, although he should calm down and relax during the upcoming New Year holidays.
Then just ignore him if you're bothered by him, hehe.  Tongue

$45 million in prize money, such a sum is mind blowing! If this is confirmed, I will fall off my chair) With such prize money from Riyadh Masters, everyone’s favorite TI will fade into the background. Money changes the location of tournaments and it seems that no one will compete with the Arab sheikhs in conquering the e-sports market. From such a large sum, several more professional teams should appear, because the stakes are very high.
Valve should give themselves a break if this is going to be another real prize pool. Because instead of the players craving to go to the TI, they're now going to focus more with the Riyadh Masters because the huge prize pool is in there and with some statements from Yatoro that the Aegis in the TI is a scam because they're just allowed to keep it for a night and then will be taken away from them the next day.

Based on the experience, the Aegis was only with Team Spirit for one night before Valve took it back, which he described as a "scam".

Who are the CS2 fans here? G2 esports is also now in Dota 2. They've just sponsored a team and it's not just a team but one of the strong teams in the Chinese region, the Invictus Gaming.

They'll be now G2.IG.

More and more teams are going into the Dota 2 this time and I hope that there will be more because a lot of teams don't have a sponsor as of now.

passwordnow, remember our recent discussion about the 3rd replacement and Azure Ray?

Still, Korben was wrong with his words about Azure Ray and here’s why. The fact is that they recently introduced new EPT rules and even included the previous Dream League with points, which also caused a small scandal among the teams. Points from the TI are not counted because it was not carried out by ESL. According to these new rules, 3 substitutions are allowed, but the points immediately turn into 0. Azure Ray was already with 0 points, so these changes did not affect them at all.

The final table looks like this:

Ahaha, according to ELS, BB is now in second place. But after Kuala Lumpur everything will change.

These moves from these teams that they think the region where their team is located should have to do something by releasing first their roster and moving to another region.

But I don't think that they'll be in this time for Dota 2. Maybe when the next TI is approaching, that's the time that they're going to form a new squad but IMO, not just this time.
I agree it's looking grim after they've given up their LCS (LoL) spot to Shopify Rebellion and now they released their Dota team.

Boom also dropped most of their players yesterday(tweet) and I guess they'll try to look for another set of players that can mesh with Pakasz before the DreamLeague qualifier starts.
Boom was not wise at all.

When they've been champs on a major on the SEA with their former roster. That's actually the momentum that they need but they fail to maintain that roster, skem, yopaj, etc. + stand in from Singapore, I forgot the name of that offlaner.

But that guy gained popularity so quick but didn't last when he can't find a new team to take him and the same goes for the former roster. Look at the talents that played for them, they're one of the best players on their region now.

Did you see that TSM abandoned their tag? They returned to the name Undying. In general, when I saw TSM, every time I remembered their sponsorship from the FTX crypto exchange. This is ingrained in my memory due to the fact that I lost some of my funds there(
That is unfortunate for the TSM players, but it was inevitable after that FTX issue.

Others hope that TSM might move to a different region due to the last part they mentioned in the tweet, maybe switching to another region (like EG and Alliance). There are a lot of decent teams without an org atm, but securing some form of prize money has become more difficult after they took out the DPC.

I also remember that they've been sponsored by FTX but they don't know a thing about that. What these rosters and team management does is all about the sponsor money that's been placed on them.
Yes, I understand this perfectly. But those who select advertising collaborations must do this more carefully, because a class action lawsuit was brought against those actors and NFL stars who appeared in FTX advertising. I'm even still surprised that this didn't happen with TSM.
That's true, they'd get sued for nothing for taking action with it. But I think that the team doesn't have and didn't get any alarm with that and that's why they're still good to go and step away from the scene since they've released their roster.

I personally wouldn’t do this, even though I am a victim, but people can be very greedy and will use every opportunity to sue for money.
Well, let the authorities do that if they think that they have to be chased and taken down for that. But in all means, that organization will just have to reason out that they have advertised and taken them as a sponsor before the debacle and they're not yet too crumpled at all with issues and problems before.

ok thanks, I'll think about it, sounds really cool. I will probably choose the best days from the ESL tournament with the most exciting confrontations between certain teams. Still, there should be more such wonderful moments in life.
Good luck with that, we're approaching to the first phase of the tournament within less than a week now. That's really exciting to get into actions again and we'd see some improved teams and who knows if some crazy heroes will be used on this tournament and might be swarmed in the pubs.

They probably have scouted these guys long enough to do such a decision. OG's former roster with ATF was basically nobodies until they started winning with the right guidance and the right directions from n0tail and those in the OG management. I feel that this may also be the direction that Tundra wants for the team, and hopefully they get successful at that. It's sad that most of the oldheads are leaving the scene, but the new bloods are still welcome to change the shape of the pro play very soon.
n0tail can explain so well that almost any player can be turned into a professional if you do what he says. This is most clear from those "True Sight" videos. But time is running out and it’s hard to understand that old players are leaving the scene. New players can breathe new interest into Dota, I hope this happens.

Tundra reorganizing this heavily either means that they are trying to hone new talents with the help of Topson and Xakoda, or they're really just trying to make it work with a tight budget. Whatever it is, hopefully it works for them. Topson can either go towards an offlane position, giving a chance towards the new players whom may be comfortable playing with core positions adding confidence to their team compositions.
Maybe they should look at how Korb3n assembled Team Spirit when they were little known (before winning TI first time) and try to do something similar. Younger players are hard to find and even harder to team up with. At this stage, various problems can arise, even because of one player, the whole team can be destroyed. It's like searching for gold in a gold mine. You may achieve nothing and waste a lot of time and effort. In any case, I would like to see Tundra in a stronger lineup.

IMHO, SEA Teams are improving. It's no question that they've been the weakest region but this time, I think that there are a lot of good teams assembled on this region but let's still see.

I can't wait for the ESL Kuala Lumpur, despite that there have been other side tournaments that I can watch. I have never watched any of them because most of these tournaments are tier 2 tournaments. Although there are teams that are good to scout from that tier and they can be one of the strong teams in the near future.

I have seen that there's also the Shanghai Masters, I thought that there's a lot of teams participating on this tournament but upon looking at the details I guess that this is the first time to see a Chinese tournament and named 'masters' for this tournament only has got 4 participating teams.

This tournament is going to start in less than 24 hours from now on and I don't understand why there's a tournament like this and named as if it's a major tournament but only few teams that are invited on this one. IG is part of it and I think that they're going to be the ones who's gonna win on this tournament if they become serious and they are going to have the debut of their new roster.

In general, I prefer to play with friends than watch. TI have priority for me, I watch other tournaments extremely rarely, but ESL Kuala Lumpur I will definitely watch a couple of games, but I will choose only the most interesting ones.
Go and watch it with your friends, it's gonna be in a week so that's a thrilling experience and entertainment again from the best teams in the region that have qualified. Well, we're the same that when I think some matches aren't interesting for me, I wouldn't even think twice to watch it and just leave it there.

There are other teams that are interesting to watch and we've got the same terms and also we can't watch all of them at the same time because most of the matches during the early stage are being played on at the same time.

And I won’t watch Shanghai Masters, all I can do is wish you a pleasant viewing  Smiley
Anyway, Shanghai Masters is done and the champion is Invictus Gaming just like what I've said.

Eternal Fire seems to have adapted to CS2, though not fully. With the performances in the recent tournaments, we can say that the team is getting used to the new game or will be fully acclimatized in the near future. The fact that Xantares' performance hasn't changed is important for the team's performance, and the fact that Wicadia, the young star of the team, is improving day by day is another positive factor for the team. At the moment they are fighting well as a team, but the fact that woxic is far from his old performance makes the team awp diff.

Totally agree with what you said about Eternal Fire. They have been quite impressive lately. First a record of finishing 2nd in the PARI Please tournament and right after that another same finish in ESL Challenger Jönköping.  Smiley  They could have even defeated Monte in the finale too but that was such a difficult matchup for them. They still did good work on Vertigo and Anubis though.

Monte are one of the powerful teams lately. They have made good progress in the rankings. But still these achievements was helpful for Eternal Fire to reach 11th place in HLTV rankings.  Smiley

woxic is on fire indeed. I watched some of his performances in this ESL Challenger tournament and got really excited.
Eternal Fire rose to 11th place and they will now move to Hungary as their base for tournament matches so they will not have any more ping problems. If the ping problem is eliminated, EF can go much further in the rankings. In my opinion, CS2 was better in terms of Eternal Fire. As a result, Eternal Fire achieved the best ranking in CS2. There were times when EF had a chance to beat Monte, but it was not the time yet and it was still a good final match.

Meanwhile , the new Tundra line-up have just been revealed a few minutes ago : Yuma , Topson , Miero  , 9Class , Xakoda. Now , personally I didn't hear until now about 9Class or Xakoda ...and that's why I don't have full faith in this new Tundra team. I also think it's because of Topson the team left and decided to part ways...

What happened to previous roster of Team Tundra? They seems pretty solid and I’m not expecting to reshuffle their roster completely while they have a good result on many major tournaments.

I remember watching Xakoda many times on EEU region. I do some background check and he is a former mate of Yuma when they are on lower division team. Just like BZM and ATF being discovered by OG, I guess they have potential to excel too.

Tundra reorganizing this heavily either means that they are trying to hone new talents with the help of Topson and Xakoda, or they're really just trying to make it work with a tight budget. They went from TI winner to a team that was struggling to get to top 2 so there was no reason for them not to disband the team. Some of the roster ended up staying together like Skiter and Sneyking that are currently playing for Team Falcons that should be based on MENA region. Im not sure if they will ever move from this region but for now its on MENA region

Before the ESL KL next week, we've got some actions happening right now in the SEA so this is the EPL World Series SEA version. There are only two teams that are participating on this tournament but still, some tier 2 actions that we're going to see. And currently, it's now on the playoffs with the next bracket and some teams were already eliminated. If someone wants to follow it, you can go ahead[1] and check the matches because this is until December 8, 2023 for the grand finals.

The next tournament in CS2 is starting this week with BetBoom Dache 2023 in Dubai with some strong CS teams again. I am really hyped to see Furia again after their big win at the Elisa Masters Espoo 2023. It's great to have FalleN back on the international stage with all his experience. The first match today will be GamerLegion vs Cloud9, where Cloud9 should have no issues of winning the game, they are clearly the stronger team. The second match will be MIBR vs BetBoom. The second Brazilian team is not as strong as Furia, but should have good chances of winning against BetBoom. The two teams played against each other last month and MIBR won 2-0.  Tomorrow Astralis is playing against Virtus.pro, which could be going either way. The two teams are equal in strength and it feels a bit like a coin flip to me, I will skip betting on that match. The last match tomorrow is going to be Furia vs Spirit, where I am rooting for Furia to win. Spirit is a strong team that won a lot of there last matches and they are the favourite, but I hope the Brazilian magic is going to win.
