TI seems very silent this year because it looks like just another regular tournament due to the prize pool compared to previous tournament.

Its still one of the most hyped tournament throughout the year. As for the prizepool, you gotta blame Valve for doing shitty job this year. We could have easily reached atleast $10M prizepool on every TI if only they havent done all those shitty job and not releasing any battle pass but yeah shit happened so probably next year would be better especially that they promised they would rebrand everything including the DPC points system

Anyway as expected to GG, another flop this year after showing dominance on the majors tournament. I think Team Spirit and Liquid all over again on the finals.

Its still to early to call them a flop, all GG need to do on the 1st group stage is literally not to finish last to secure the next spot so I kinda understand why they are keeping their strat for now

I watch the game of Azure ray vs Thunder this morning and I’m surprise to saw a bug like that on a major tournament like TI. I stop watching already since they have a long pause but this kind of major bug is frustrating when happened on crucial matches such as decision game on the playoffs.

Team Spirit played the day better than anyone and showed 3-0 victories over other teams. So far it looks like they are very confident in their game and nothing will stop them, but I remember how teams like LGD also wins to previous TI's, and then some OG appeared from the losers’ bracket and won the TI. I think there will be something similar at this, you can’t be overconfident. Anything can happen at a TI, this has been proven other times. The only team that has 2 losses and not even a draw is Talon, which came as a surprise to me.

The 1st day of TI12 is behind us, for me it’s a Dota 2 holiday, I’m very glad that it’s finally arrived, even with the disastrous compendium.

At TI11 and TI10, I bet in the group stage of the tournament on teams that were clearly expected to win, but often it turned out differently and they lost. After this bad experience I will bet with great caution. Moreover, I may try to bet on outsiders with large odds in the group stage, but at the moment I haven't yet decided on whom exactly. 9Pandas are playing inconsistently, maybe it will be them, but against Team Spirit on the first day it was obvious to me that they would lose.

It seems that it was a bit too late to bet on favourites because bookies have decreased their odds for teams like Team Spirit, LGD and Team Liquid. You could have gotten atleast 2 for all those team on their first one or two games.

Won this and its a good start for me, also managed to get Team Spirit to win on their 2nd game as well so it has been great for me.

As for the 2nd day, Im betting on both Team Liquid and PSG.LGD to win because they really need to win this to secure the next group stage spot. Also put another small bet on Team Spirit again because I dont think they are going to throw the game away even after they have secured their next spot

Here's what I have for the fourth day of the Worlds' Play-ins, and the matches today should be more one-sided when these losses could be a wake-up call for them. Also, I don't recommend putting much on this in case someone decides to tail because i've been on a bad losing streak recently.

GAM and R7 looked lifeless on their losses, but GAM should pick things up or at least get one map against R7, who I think is the worst team out of both groups. The DFM vs BDS series should be 2-0 for BDS when DFM doesn't have the best top lane anymore and it mattered during their series against CFO. I can't see an angle for BDS to lose when Adam will thrive at the top lane and carry the team again.

I haven't confirmed the predictions for this match because in the early days like this I tend to prefer to observe it and be able to study how each team that competes plays so that later when I feel like I have enough information I can easily make predictions for each match.

Kinda understandable that most people will skip the BO2 group stage because its pretty volatile but if you are looking for match that give you all those suspense you are looking for then betting on BO2 is pretty fun. There are some teams that are pretty dominant compared to the other team so if you actually have been following dota2 scene from the previous tournament then you would know which teams to pick for the bet

There are really match ups on which you could really say that there's no way on beating up a certain group by other group basing up on past events and match up on which you could really be confidently be able to say that it would be a sure win but just like you do say that everything is really that too unpredictable or not really that certain. Come to look at on GG which we know that these are those reigning champs on majors but on this groupstage which they had already suffering some losses and they shouldn't really be that too confident yet this tournament isnt something that
you could really compare to majors. Every tactics and strategies would really be shown on here which it wasnt really been shown on other tournaments. So confidence isnt something that
should be tolerated specially on those Tier 1 teams. Dark horses and upset could happen real quick.  Smiley

Alright, TI is starting so lets get to the real deal right now as I have been suffering for weeks betting on csgo with most of it ended up losing  Roll Eyes

Most of the games are probably going to end with a draw so I chose two games that would most likely wont end with a draw. Team Spirit won the last two Major tournaments so they are probably going to win and as for BB, they got the potential for sure hence I picked them
The TI Dota 2 tournament is an international event that is always looked forward to by most esports fans not to mention many gamblers who always join in and don't want to miss out making this tournament one of the betting options that might be easier to predict because it an IT tournament each team will try their best to continue to advance to the final round and win huge prizes.

Previously I had participated in CSGO but was not really interested in participating in betting but now is the right time to be able to look for lots of opportunities in TI tournaments.
We hope you are always lucky with the TI Dota 2 tournament betting options.

Do you know when CS:GO will be left finally and they will pass to CS 2 in official tournaments as well?

Because some time ago they said that it was the last tournament in CS:GO however there must be a few more tournaments which have been organized since then. I assume they are waiting for CS 2 to be fixed more for some more time. I saw even s1mple saying that this game wasn't playable yet so there is still a need to make it much better.

I have been seeing big updates regularly whenever I launch Steam. I hope the game would be ready for tournaments as well soon.

That's actually their plan. They are to abandon CS:GO to move forward with CS2. There's not many tournaments left for CS:GO while it's still being the official game for CS and major tournaments, although we can't say that CS2 is polished enough to be a platform for huge tournaments specially if there are still some bugs here and there that could potentially destroy a team's strategy.

And now that this is mentioned, the movement still feels off whenever you try to walk or run in CS2. It's as if your character is using rollerblades or something because everything feels so slippery.
They had made an announcement of which tournaments were to transistion to the new Source 2 engine and Sydney's tournament was one of them.
But they had some dates which fell this week of others who would be having the update incorporated into theirs as well.
From the looks of it the match between BIG and The Chosen FEW in the ESL Challenger Jönköping EU Closed Qualifers were already using it.
And why not since everybody else being non-pro players are already playing on it! Since CS:S2 was released to the public late last month.

Even if a lot of people are using it and are reporting no issues whatsoever, it's very evident as a player that the game still needs some smoothing and a lot of polishing on the movement side. I've played it for a few hours and I can tell that I'm playing a very different game because the movement feels slippery and crude, like I'm playing an anime shooting game wherein sliding is a game mechanic/feature and not a bug.

Just look at this meme-worthy peek in the game. I believe an official match happened wherein the same thing happened although I'm not certain which game it was, but it only happened yesterday or a day before that.

They are updating regularly and the landscape with the netcode will be changing some.  I believe it makes the results more volatile as the game is uneven meaning teams who should win may be upset by any detail of the new game not yet known by all players.
Im more likely to put down 3 maps instead of just guessing 2 on that basis.  The results arent especially justifying that at present, maybe the shorter game rounds makes a come back less of an occurrence per map;  thats another detail Im not sure sticks exactly depends on the pro players maybe even if Valve perfers it.
Spirit beat Movistar but both we beaten by a unbranded French team with 'Lucky' on there.   I dont know them especially but now I have to watch them, the last player by Lucky I knew played as a sub for CLG back when Tarik was a player years ago.

Monday is Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023, a proper test if this game floats or not?

Counter-Strike 2 still looks not completely ready for tournaments. People are even complaining while playing casually because there are still some annoying problems to be solved. Even maps go crazy sometimes and we see two maps interwining each other for example. This kind of things are big issues for professional arena.

However I want to understand the situation anyway. Because when CS:GO was first released it also had some serious problems. From now on every game is released not fully ready. They are improved with updates and feedbacks are really important at this point.

Of the two my bets, one went through with Nouns, but because it was x2.3, then I ended up with a small gain considering the loss with Wildcard. And the fact that Nouns had 65th place in the rating, and EG 30th, is of course very cool, especially with the score 2-1. EG won the first map and relaxed, thinking that they would easily take the second, but Nouns showed their fangs and took Nuke to Mirage.

Today there will be a game between EG and Forsaken (Lower final). I won't bet on this match, it is quite difficult for me to predict the outcome.

I think few people know the North American CS scene well with such teams as Wildcard (55 rank), Forsaken (46), EG (30), Nouns (65). The ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023 North America Open Qualifier is currently underway. There will be 2 games today:

The teams are far from the world top, but this makes them of particular interest. Some people remember that I like bets with odds higher than 2, so I will bet on Nouns (x2.3)and Wilcard(x2.5) to win. I think the matches won't be boring as some people think. GL

Not that I expect anything from SMG because they are not really one of the top team out there but I'd love to watch MC play. Out of all those top tier pos 3 that still constantly play in division 1, they chose MC that plays in division 2 although his solid performance on OG as standin is probably a factor for SMG to consider but its just great that a member of Nigma's team is going to TI
That's also what I have noticed. It seems that MC has been in demand for stand-in plays and despite that, he's not that anymore on his prime or peak plays. He's still one of the best offlaners out there and it can't be removed from him. I just feel bad that his whole squad didn't qualify for two consecutive years already and they've been struggling a lot to get into qualifiers and even in LAN events they don't have many DPC points. I wish to them again on the TI stage because it just feels so different when these idols of ours are always present there. But his achievements were already embedded in him and to his teammates as well. Anyway, wasn't it that Valve has already announced the different pointing system next TI, right? Should this TI is done already, they're going to focus on it and I am sure that MC will get his whole squad or a better and permanent team.

4 more days to go and prizepool is not even hitting $2.9M yet  Roll Eyes
Two days from now on and luckily the amount just hit $2.9M already but too far from what we're all expecting.

I have been seeing big updates regularly whenever I launch Steam. I hope the game would be ready for tournaments as well soon.  Smiley
I have just checked about Intel Extreme Masters in Sydney and it's on Counter-Strike: 2 already and that's just 6 days from now on. We're going to see how the pro players have adjusted already on this one.

Is it only me watching the Worlds' group stage? I've placed a few bets in both the SEA teams (GAM and PSG Talon) to take care of business here since I believe there's a decent gap between the opponents they'll be facing.

Then again there's a lot of hype coming on the side of Loud due to their opening odds as an underdog at 3.00+ before shifting down to 1.9-2.0 as we're only a few hours away from the series.

Edit: 1-1 PSG swept while GAM had a disappointing performance.

Sadly, Masaros is already out mate as confirmed by Team SMG. Mind_Control is the one to substitute for him. Not a bad substitution but pretty sure it has an effect when it comes to their plays and chemistry. But who knows, it'll be cool if SEA shows something this TI.

Looks like Puppey playing for Team SMG is for real. On gorgc's stream, it's seen that both MidOne and Puppey are in a private lobby. Not enough evidence but it's likely that they really are playing and practicing at this time. Maybe within the next few days we'll see them announce it officially. But it got me confused because Jaunuel's visa is approved as per his facebook post.
We've got a few days left until the start of the TI and talking about the prize pool, I bet that this isn't encouraging a lot of them but it's gonna be just their glory playing for it. Anyway, prize is still prize and that's money regardless of how low or high it is.

There are a lot of rumors circulating already that Puppey is the one playing at TI. But since Jaunuel got his visa approved then Team SMG goes to TI with him. There are still 5 days left before the TI and that is most likely enough to travel to Seattle.
Maybe that lobby was just a practice game or scrim with Team SMG and Team Secret. Jau's able to attend it and that feels good since he's the one with them since the qualifiers, I just don't know if it's the same with masaros.

Or it could be a real practice since Jaunuel got his visa approved in the 11th minute already. Sadly, Masaros is already out mate as confirmed by Team SMG. Mind_Control is the one to substitute for him. Not a bad substitution but pretty sure it has an effect when it comes to their plays and chemistry. But who knows, it'll be cool if SEA shows something this TI.

There's really a huge difference in the prize pool compared to last year. It's a huge drop and I am pretty sure it will also lose interest among fans around the world. DOTA 2 is no longer the same. And I won't be surprised that even sponsors might also start moving away. Valve has to do something in this coming TI since the viewerships will determine its future.
Valve should just add more money on it. Remember that they've already done $1.6M+ as starter for this and it's still under $3M. They really done it wrong when it's too late for them to release items and they're not interesting anymore. The prince of Saudi did bought this time but not that much too.
I haven't followed this stuff since I stopped playing. But I did hear a lot of clamors for Valve's failure to deliver it the way fans were expecting.
