BetBoom is a good team but compared to the other top teams on the lower bracket like GG or Team Liquid, I'd say they are a step behind those two but atleast they will be able to win 2-0 against AR today. They have won 2-0 against them once in the group stage so Im expecting BB to win again. As for Liquid vs GG, glad that we are heading onto the 3rd map. Liquid almost won the 2nd map but somehow they flop abit which makes GG able to win that but overall I'd say GG dominate the early game of both map though

GG vs BB This is a repeat of the finals of 3 Majors this year, it's incredible. I also think that there will be 3 maps, the battle will be fierce. I don’t presume to predict who will win here, it look like tossing a coin to me.

In the Azure vs BB match, I would really like BB to win, I want them to go as far as possible, because their games are very bright. Well, as for Team Spirit and LGD, this is a repetition of the TI10 grand final, the same one when the whole world learned about Team Spirit. I have only one question, how not to go crazy with the number of such amazing games today.

Had only 1 betting ticket yesterday with BB to win and Liquid to win but unfortunately Liquid lost against Spirit and now they will have to face GG tonight. An eternal matchmaking between these 2 teams right ? However , I still think Liquid plays better in this TI than GG but I do see the series going to 3 maps.

What did surprised me was the fact that Azure Ray couldn't win 1 map from LGD as I think most of the bettors had 3 maps in this series...

I really like this pick since AR is struggling to find their game when they are beaten by LGD. Most of the time, Lower Bracket team has the advantage due to the momentum so I agree that this match can be an ez 2-0 for BB considering how great they are on defending high grounds despite they are on the disadvantage. BB is unbeatable by any team on the lower bracket.

About the Team Liquid vs GG, I'm afraid that someone on this 2 team might 2-0 the other one once they got the chance to have the lead. Determining who will win is tricky too so I will skip this pick and only copy the BB pick. 

Yeah it was pretty close and VP had a good chance to turn it over as well. 87th minutes game and its really frustating when you had to watch it for that long only then to watch your team lose the game but they ended up winning lol. I had another bet on Liquid to win against Spirit though but yeah that one ended up with a bust, I should have chosen over 2.5 maps on that one

So we are getting into our usual classic game for tonight, the long last rivalry between Team Liquid and GG. Also I think BB could be going for another 2-0 win on  Azure Ray as well

The European Thunderpick World Championship 2023 started yesterday and is after IEM Sydney the second big CS2 tournament. So far CS2 still feels a bit buggy, but there are new patches almost every 3 days and it's just a matter of time for the game to run smoothly. I really enjoy the new performance, the graphics are nice and there also new strategies being developed. FaZe has done so well during IEM Sydney that I think they are also going to dominate this tournament. The first match today is going to be fnatic vs NiP, two of the old school rivals that both have a lot of experience. It's hard to make a prediction for the game, I think it could be going either way. The two teams just played against each other where NiP won 2-1, so I am hoping NiP can repeat that today. The second match will be cloud9 vs Virtus.pro, where Virtus.pro should win without a problem. They played quite well recently and should be going far in the tournament. In the third match will be Wildcard vs SAW, two teams where I am not really familiar with and I will skip that match. SAW already lost 2-0 against FaZe, so I don't think they will go far in the tournament. The last match today is FaZe vs Monte, the Ukranian team is not bad, but FaZe is the clear favourite here and should be winning without any problems.

Having long breaks or not, favorite would be still favorite and this is why i do agree that having too long would really be breaking that hype but well its their own management who had decided such set up but still it is really just still that fine considering that crowd is still there and hype is still there but not really that much if we do compare on previous TI's or it is really just that me. About tourism then it would really be that something significant but not all people who had been in the venue would really be able to stay that long but its impossible that they wont really be that be able to make those schedules knowing that it was given earlier.

Still a win and congrats to that, BB did really struggle despite of having Mega creeps yet they cant easily push or finish i up because of Muerta which damage is really that indeed painful and could wipe them on.
The game closes is on the time that Muerta did purchase that 3 Rapiers and planning  to have that rat Dota strategy on top barracks using up with that Kunka X-mark but ended up on getting killed.
Mid clash was their final and that Dark Willow with DR closes up the game on using Shadow Realm + Divine = GG.

Well it does make sense to me because if it wasnt because of the breaks then I'd believe most games will end up with favourites to win which is kinda boring in this type of tournament. Aside from that by creating this breaks, Valve will be forcing fans to stay in the city which means this would also help the city on tourism aspect although not by much but atleast the crowd will need to pay for all those hotels and food

Yeah, I know all of those stuff and I was just wondering if this is for the clout. If she's telling the truth that she'll contribute to the prize pool of this TI, what a shame for Valve. It only takes them a p*rnstar to contribute to their little prize pool. LOL.

IMO, it's also a good exposure for her and she's able to tell about her OF and that means people will think that if she's going to contribute to the prize pool, then instead of buying compendium or any items on Dota 2 then they'll just have to support her at her own cause through her OF. I think it's a brilliant idea of her and she successfully able to introduce her to other dota 2 fans through this statement she made whether it's true or not.

Of course, the male audience knows her. I also saw this news. I remember how she appeared in the news feed at previous TI's, she is trying to get hyped and increase her recognition among those who didn't know her. Very competently, it was probably advised to her by people who understand this. I believe that she only pursues mercenary goals and is not interested in Dota 2. Also, in addition to what I have listed, I will add that she also hangs around millionaire players. I don't want to say anything bad, but maybe she... okay, I'd better stop. In general, I have a negative attitude towards her specifically at TI.

I remembered how one of the players at the last TI met her and after that said that he no longer wanted to watch the video with her.

First confrontation has just ended. An incredibly boring and fast game, just as I expected with a score of 2-0. But now the game that I have been waiting for all these days will begin! VP-BB, bring it on guys!

I dont think its about clout, shes already one of the most famour adult stars right now, she is a big dota fan apparently and has attended previous majors/TI's as well as this TI also.

She also was involved in the sponsorship/ambassador stuff of some teams, i think it was talon and/or spirit ?

Guys, game time for Dota 2 The International is about to happen within the next 6 hours. And I have just noticed one thing about the posts related to the International just this day. It's about Eva Elfie, I know that you know her guys and is this really a serious thing that she said or is she just chasing clout? Long breaks usually don't make sense to me, too. I get that players need to rest in order to be in top form for the games, but they are losing the drive and the hype as the days go by. During their down time, they can study other teams' gameplay and perhaps craft some nice strategies and hopefully it translates to their games. These players need to relax, too, but extra long breaks doesn't really make sense in this kind of competition.

Yes, the games will continue today, which makes me very happy, I definitely won’t watch the LGD - Azure Ray match because it will be early in the morning in my country, but I will be able to watch the others. GG has a small odds, but I'm almost sure that they will simply move nouns. BB will beat VP, I expect they will show a bright game with net worth jumping from one side to the other and great unpredictability. Although BB they confidently go through the losers’ bracket, in such a wild match I will bet on the underdog (VP).
TS vs Liquid, I expect the usual even game, but Liquid will give a good fight. My forecast is 2-1 in favor of Team Spirit.

It will be interesting to see whether they will continue to pick Muerta, Bristleback, Dark Willow, or whether the teams will show their secret plans and have the same choice of heroes as in the VP - Entity.

Glad that we got all these esports action but why do it have to be alltogether alongside TI lol  . We got Worlds and now Roobet Cup as well which has pretty good prizepool

Anyway, back on TI. I guess I would be betting on a single game for now before decided to pick the other tomorrow. Going for Liquid to win although Team Spirit is much better obviously but hey Team Spirit cant keep on winning everything so yeah



Anyway for those of you that still think that Nouns could win might as well want to pick Nouns +1.5 against GG, odds are around 2.3 right now

This match is going to be played tomorrow at 7 PM (GMT+3). To tell the truth Eternal Fire are the absolute favourite side of this matchup. We can see the same thought from bookmakers as well who have given 1.45 odds for their win. Before anything else there is a serious level of quality gap between the teams. Besides Aurora have been on the decline in the recent times. I don't feel like they will surprise us here either.

Eternal Fire beat them in Pinnacle Cup by 2-0 the last time they faced each other. I see a more determined Eternal Fire these days. I think they will get another 2-0 win here.

As expected, EU  won over NA as Fnatic came back in the series after losing map 1 to win 2-1

Cloud9 won  the map 1 but had difficulty ending the game  even with a 10k gold lead,

Map 2 and 3  were decidedly won by fnatic with a strong early  and mid game

Weibo won 2-0 over MAD but had to sweat a potential upset in map  1, live odds were actually favoring MAD at one point, that wouldve been quite and upset if MAD won

Yup, in other bookies, they're offering Fnatic around 2.10+ and i'm surprised when I think they're the slightly better team over Cloud9. I went with the over 2.5 and hope we'll see a competitive series as both teams are fighting to survive another round.



In the second series, if it was another EU team like BDS, maybe there's value, but with Mad Lions, I think the odds are accurate enough when they can't even beat the NA teams.

Come together with me on GG and nouns match. The odds are good with nouns and I know that GG is a strong team, no hate on Quinn and GG but I'll just try my luck putting with nouns on this one. As I believe in K1 hector. 

Just like the other teams that have managed to snatch some games on the known strong teams, maybe nouns will do the impossible on this one. I'm not expecting a lot on them and I just try to cover the odds as much as possible because it's quite good and the bet I've made on this one isn't that much too. So whether win or lose, I'm okay and there's no madness or heart feelings on it. This is what betting is all about in a game that you truly love and have been living with together.
Still a too many days to wait until the lower and upper bracket starts. It's kind of boring to wait this long with the most awaited dota 2 event every year. I hope the format next year is better than this one and also the scheduling as well.

I have been following Eternal Fire in this tournament especially due to their great rise by the ESL Pro League success. They qualified for the quarter finals there and were eliminated by Natus Vincere if you don't remember. However they couldn't make a good start to this new tournament. They lost to FURIA by 2-1. They actually won the Ancient map and got 1-0 ahead. They were really good on Vertigo normally but they were horrible this time and their effort on Mirage also wasn't enough.

Their next series is against Aurora. I expect EF to win this time.
