LOL worlds main event resumes in just about 12 hours
We have Cloud9 vs Fnatic and then Weibo vs MAD Lions

I dont think there are many times u will get a EU team at 2+ odds against NA so i love the Fnatic play tomorrow,
For second game odds are too skewed towards weibo but maybe mad can finally do something  Sad

Team spirit is a strong contender for this years TI on winning that aegis but i do agree with BB team which they do really have that potential too if they could straight up in LB but dont forget that in LB there's GG,VP and nouns which we know that these teams arent something that simple to be beaten up too plus into those UB  losers would be going down then it would really be an easy path to take.
Totally that interesting for this year TI even though the prize pool isnt that big but still that interesting to watch as always.

The thing i dont like for this years TI is the large gap of days in between phase on which they are really that lasting 4-5 days which it do really remove that kind of thrill
and hype because of that long wait but well there's nothing they can do since they do manage it out this way.
Although Team Spirit doesn't have many games left to raise the aegis over his head for the second time, this path will not be easy, he will not be given away just like that, the battles will be tough. In addition, other teams should have preparations at the hero peak stage, this is another chance to break the TS, although it seems that this is almost impossible. Therefore, I expect to see unusual heroes.

The players also don’t like such large gaps between game days, not only the spectators, but Valve doesn’t care much about it, they ignored it as usual. I still found a small plus in this, I watch the matches that I liked the most for the second time, this helps a little to maintain the amazing mood from the TI.

Normally I also do not like the large number of days in break. The players and teams have ample time to study and practice but some of them might have lost their focus and adrenaline in their bodies. Momentums will be stopped including the fans' urge and excitement. The only thing that made me somewhat good during this long break were my bets' losing streak. Cheesy

Meanwhile, my only remaining bet is on Team Spirit ML over Liquid. Planning to put some bets on GG and BetBoom as well. Betboom against VP, it will be another anticipated match and both teams are capable of winning.

Currently I'm watching Entity vs Tundra and I'm afraid Entity might snatch this with 2-0 and produce a big surprise that personally I didn't anticipate to happen , especially with Topson playing for Tundra as Midlaner. Right now score is 1-0 with map 2 being well underway and Entity looks favorite in 2nd map as well.
I've watched the first game and they're able to a comeback. And you're right again with that 2-0, Entity just won against the former TI champs Tundra Esports with that ending. Right now the match of Talon Esports and BetBoom is happening, we still have a long series to wait. While Entity is going to face Virtus.Pro, hmmmmm. They've won against TUndra so VP could be easier for them.

I stayed awake until morning for this series. But what a series for Entity versus Tundra, it was worth watching. Tundra was supposed to win against Entity. That solid comeback in game 1 set Entity's confidence to win game 2 as well. I don't know what Sneyking meant during the interview but it feels like Topson is not a fit to his team.

And then I had to wake up in order to watch Entity against Virtus Pro. I also thought Entity would win but VP has its own ways and never gave up a single map. Entity has a good battle plan but they couldn't keep up Kiritych's farming.

We need to wait 4 days again for the next games. Gaimin Gladiators should be able to stop the nouns. BetBoom against Virtus.pro will be another tough match but I am favoring the former to win.
Because of these games, I also didn't sleep and break up my schedule. During these days I will return to my usual state, but in a couple of days we will experience a lack of sleep again. But looking at these amazing battles between the teams, I am ready to continue not sleeping at all.

I think that the game VP - BetBoom, Team Spirit - Liquid will be most spectacular in the entire playoffs. I will still bet on BetBoom to win, I would like them to continue through the lower bracket because they have very beautiful and exciting games.

Let's remember the second map in the confrontation between Talon vs BetBoom Team, when BetBoom picked Pudge and won a stunning game in 1 hour 10 minutes. I strongly recommend that those who haven’t watched it watch it while there are no games on the day of silence.

Topson can adopt easily to the team that he's standing in but there's a need for him to get commanded and that's what he's just waiting for.

And then I had to wake up in order to watch Entity against Virtus Pro. I also thought Entity would win but VP has its own ways and never gave up a single map. Entity has a good battle plan but they couldn't keep up Kiritych's farming.
We that were optimistic with Entity have been disappointed on this game. They've beaten the former TI champs but they've played easily by VP. That's looking like an easy match for most of them honestly.  Kiritych was like a disciplined and not greedy player unlike what I'm seeing with other carry players.

We need to wait 4 days again for the next games. Gaimin Gladiators should be able to stop the nouns.
It feels different this TI unlike the former TIs were its like a continuous battle until weekend and then some rest for a few days and then continue again.

BetBoom against Virtus.pro will be another tough match but I am favoring the former to win.
Both from the same region but it's like BetBoom is the favorite to win this match.

Their carry knows how to farm but the entire impact of his gameplay wasn't that much to change the result of the game. His Luna was a quicker farmer but yet, isn't the typical luna that we see from most winning teams.

On the other hand, Tundra Esports lost against Entity. It was a comeback, early game was in favor of Tundra Esports but Entity was just too good and I'm speechless on this one. Waiting for the 2nd game to come.

Well yea , Costabile knows how to farm but he is a mediocre carry but still had a great run for this TI where Brazil fans should be happy with their performance.
Yup, that's still a good run for them, and having three slots for this TI is already a good consolation for this. Now, with these runs, I am sure that the next change for the format will still benefit them and will be made by Valve after this TI. Costabile needs to practice more but he's talented in farming, no doubt but about map awareness and decision making as a carry, needs to be imrpoved.

Meanwhile , today doesn't look like hyped but BetBoom should keep us entertained with 2 games right ?
It was like a bonus round for the BetBoom. Eliminating Keyd Stars didn't get any hype on this match because it was mostly a one sided match.

As I don't think Keyd Stars will even put pressure on BB.

You're right about Keyd Stars and BB and as for Entity and Tundra, I'm sure that we're feeling the same thing on how this game is amazing when Entity won against Tundra or you feel the opposite way?

Nouns did it again! It was fair from my side to call them dark horses of TI because they are determined to have a long run in this tournament and TSM really stood no chance last night against them. They will face Gaiming Gladiators in next series and I have a feeling we will get 3 maps between them but I can't tell for sure who is going to win because GG looks a bit shaky and Nouns are playing with no fear , no matter who they face.

Nouns have K1 Hector which is the most efficient carry on NA region when he is still on Beastcoast. I’m not surprised that this new team shows an incredible game here in TI since K1 is a monster too way back when he is on Beastcoast. I put him more stronger than RTZ if I rank carry on NA and SA region.

This NRG v MAD game really doesn't belong to the Worlds. I don't know what I'm watching right now.  Cheesy  It isn't much different than a solo q game honestly. I don't like the way NRG are playing especially. Palafox has been horrible during the whole game. He doesn't even know how to use some ults after stealing them with Sylas.

If Elyoya was able to play better than this MAD would have been way ahead of NRG in the game. But now they are just 5k gold behind instead. If I bet on this game I guess I would bet on MAD so let's see. It's really hard to trust an NA team.  Grin

Today is the grand final of the IEM Sydney 2023 with FaZe facing up against Complexity. I was travelling the last few days and didn't have much time to watch most of the games, but it seems to have been a great tournament so far. It's nice to see Mouz reaching so deep again and making 3-4th place together with G2. The have been playing real well the last few weeks and for the next tournament I am going to give them more credit. FaZe had to play quite a few matches to reach the finals as the went through the lower brackets. After their initial loss in the first match they played well against all the other top teams and deserve to reach the finals. Complexity as well had to fight their way through  the lower bracket after losing to G2, which they later beat 2-0. Both teams deserve to play each other for the first place, but I think that FaZe has the upper hand in the best of 3 game today. With players like rain and karrigan they have a lot of experience in their roaster and it's nice to see such an old team who has played for several years together to be doing well again. I think that Faze is going to win 2-1 the tournament.

By the way, the odds for winning Team Sipirt TI12 are already 2.50. I'm wondering how many people bet on this? It will be interesting if a crowd of people put tons of money here and this doesn’t happen.
Now that odd makes sense because they've lost the first game. I think many have put their money on Team Spirit because of how they did well. But it might be that VP will be the one to stop their dominance, we'll see.
Now we know how the game ended, despite the result in the first map. VP were very close to this and the game was simply amazing, although many don't expect that teams from the same region would be spectacular.
Both were strong but Team Spirit is way stronger and have got more experience than VP. Money is on the line again guys and we've got almost 7 hours until the lower bracket matches will start. The first match will be Shopify Rebellion and TSM and whoever wins on this match will be up against nouns. So, this line of bracket consists of three teams from the same region NA. I think that Valve did these bracketing on a purpose or this is just a random placing. I don't know, I have no idea on how they do it but I just feels it like that's how they did it on a purpose. I could be wrong with that but that's what's on my head.

Almost everyone I guess. GG was supposed to be the one who can match TS in terms of gameplay yet they are already on the lower bracket struggling since group stage. So far, Team Liquid and LGD is the closest team who can stop them but TS on TI form is very hard to beat.

Count me in to bet TS to win TI.

Now they have to meet with Liquid, who are also in excellent shape. This will be a very strong confrontation worthy of a grand final.

I think GG can try to go very far in the losers bracket, but the cost of error there is too high, so they can be eliminated simply because of an unsuccessful pick, even if they play very cool. Although Team Spirit were able to show this at TI10 and go through the entire losers bracket from the very beginning. They did the impossible and showed that everything is possible.

Overall money back on the 1st round but yeah it could have gone way better if only Team Spirit ended up winning 2-0 against VP
Team Spirit mistake was in the first map, Yatoro used Void and Larl used Viper, while VP used Bristleback and Specter, which was very unbalanced in terms of hero composition and what I knew when I was playing Dota 2, Bristleback was always the counter to Void and Viper and was supported by Specter who had higher damage and on the one hand, Team Spirit also took too long to farm, maybe they wanted to make a comeback in the late game but failed to do so because choosing Void for hard carry was very bad when the opponent used Bristleback.

I know right this is not going to hit but I just cant help myself to bet like this lol

I thought the upsets would be coming from Liquid vs Talon but VP really did me dirty there. They won the 1st map then they almost won the 2nd map as well which is pretty impressive especially against Team Spirit.

Kinda anticipated that shits are going to happen so I made another bet only on the CN region teams as I thought they were having the easier game compared to the other two

Yeah I have followed the Worlds until now and we are in the time period of these games right now.  Grin  Gen.G played really strongly against T1. Chovy is just not making mistakes easily. Despite falling behind Faker in early game he made huge progress in mid-game. His starting behind was due to champ difference also of course as it was Akali vs Orianna.  Smiley

Now the G2 - WBG game is about to start. I see a Draven ban against Hans Sama which is a smart ban.  Grin  Because he is really dominating with Draven most of the time. I can give the DK game as an example for that also.

I'm not sure about G2 to win another BO1. WBG are really playing solid and I think they can win here.

I watched all the games today except the one between DK and KT. But I see now that all of my predictions came true today. I wish I placed a bet on these matches together on one betslip. I guess the total odds would be quite attracting and I would have made some good amount of money.  Grin

I wanted to trust G2 once again when it comes to that game. I must admit that the game was really open to any kind of result. But that last fight was really mesmerizing. BrokenBlade literally carried that fight with a great gameplay. I believe he is really one of the best top laners right now. Hans Sama wasn't consistent during the game as he was late at using his ult in some fights. But he made up for it really good in the last fight.

Assuming that Team Spirit loses the 2nd game against Virtus.Pro, they'll be sent to the lower bracket and they will be against the winner of Tundra Esports or Entity. Those two are also good teams. The chances of Team Spirit and Gaimin Gladiators face each other are in the Lower bracket semifinals. But if they won at the upper bracket this supposedly becomes a 2-1 against Virtus. Pro, then the only chance that GG and Team Spirit to face each other is very low and that will only be at the grand finals. I just realized that all of the matches today are from the upper bracket and tomorrow will be ones from the lower bracket. And on the last day, it's gonna be the losers from the top bracket and winners from the lower bracket meet up.

By the way, the odds for winning Team Sipirt TI12 are already 2.50. I'm wondering how many people bet on this? It will be interesting if a crowd of people put tons of money here and this doesn’t happen.
