What a sweep that's made by Team Spirit on the grand finals up against Shopify Rebellion. They are the real unstoppable team.

After winning $5,000,000 on the Riyadh Masters. They've won another huge amount but not close to the Riyadh masters which is $300k. Heck, that's still a lot of money for this few days of tournament.

It's like that Team Spirit are sweeping all the huge tournament money compared to Gaimin Gladiators that have been winning majors but with lower prize for the champ.

GG is the right kind of winner that performs extremely well pre-TI. They are always considered as the favorites but they're never the type to win it all, sometimes being dropped by teams that are expected to perform badly or get ousted early on in the tournament. Team Spirit may not be as consistent as they were on their TI champs run back in 2021, but they are still pretty decent, even with the departure of TORONTOTOKYO.
I just kinda hoping that GG won't be the same as Team Secret on a few years ago when they were kings of the majors and then didn't ended up with good placing in the TI.

Hopefully they wouldn't. The past TI, they seemed to be strong in the Majors and prior tournaments from the International, but they fell of extremely fast compared to other teams that are deemed to drop of the tournament at the earliest stage. It's like they are destined for grace, but as soon as the real competition is there, they just fall from it, and perform like amateurs in the main stage.

Well yeah if you want to compare the prize money won by those two teams then yeah Team Spirit got alot more because they won The Riyadh Master. GG has been winning most of the tournaments but so far Team Spirit is way better than any other teams out there.
Yeah, more money is with the Team Spirit based on the few tournaments that they've won.

This is actually pretty interesting though because I was expecting GG to even dominate TI which would cause the tournament to be pretty boring but some teams like Team Spirit and SR have shown their potential as well so we can expect alot from TI
We'll see and we need to wait for now until the TI comes, we're very near to it.

Team Spirit in for is really terrifying prospect. What is worse for their opponents they manage to time that form perfectly to biggest tournaments. They are my personal favorites to take TI. They have so many win conditions in every map that it is impossible to cover against them all. Even 10 bans wouldn't be enough to stop yatoro

Can't wait for TI to start after watching last few games in this masters. Need some more top tier DOTA Smiley

EF defeated both C9 and TL and secured the 4th place in perhaps the most difficult group of ESL pro league and qualified for the playoffs.EF played a really good game against C9.EF also managed to defeat the TL team, the winner of the TL-Lynn Vision match, with a really good game. We can say that it was not very difficult to win in the match where young player Wicadia was the star.EF's first opponent in the playoffs was Astralis.I think they have a 50-50 chance of winning against Astralis. If they are tactically ahead, they will win.I don't think they are lacking in firepower than the Astralis team.

Team Spirit may not be as consistent as they were on their TI champs run back in 2021, but they are still pretty decent, even with the departure of TORONTOTOKYO.
This is true, Larl is a good replacement and managed to adjust with the team and won with huge prize pool tournaments. Torontotokyo's team, BetBoom is also good but they did just ended up 3rd, well shouldn't use 'just' on it because it's still a good ending.
Why is Team Spirit is just soooo good? Not concerning about the achievement of GG as it's still an incomparable achievement compared to Team Spirit but it's all about the money as glory comes after it.

Part of it is from Miposhka and Collapse's dynamic. They are great as support-offlane and are actively putting pressure on the enemy team, giving a much needed space for Yatoro and Larl to just do their thing and farm up experience and gold. They are really good in making space if they set the tempo early on, but are sometimes falling off when the pressure is applied to them early on. There are much better teams than TS right now, although I must say that their team dynamics is still holding up against the likes of GG, especially if they get that single early advantage against enemies.
Yeah, no contest that tandem of them is amazing and impressive. They're consistent ever since they've become TI champ. Also, yatoro as a position 1 is really dependable.
You do some space and yatoro will comply to his role and he's not going to disappoint you. Even he's having hard time farming, he's just a beast honestly, everyone of them and mira too. A very well coordinated tea.

Also found this pretty unusual bets that Rollbit offered, picking dire side to win in total kills for 3 match

Won 2 of them

For some reason I've been having pretty decent streak by betting on least favourites team like OG, I was about to take them to win against BB but decided not to and yeah glad that I didnt

Next on my list would be SR, I think they are good enough to take down BB. I mean I wouldnt even count them on being able to win a map against the dominating Team Spirit but they made it pretty close so Im taking my chances with them again

I am not sure if TL can win the C9-TL match. You took a good risk.
Yep that was a good call 2/2 yesterday. C9-TL went all the way to map 3 but TL could close it there.

We have 3 matches today but I missed the first one. The other two were rematchs of the first round, VP-TL battling for a playoff spot and EF-C9 in the last chance bracket. I think the result would still be the same as the first round, i.e. VP and C9 winning.

Yesterday you took a nice risk and made a profit on your bets, congratulations.Today, I think you don't regret missing the first match because I guess you would have bet 9INE on this match.I can say that Hades' miss shot to the player who solved the bomb on the overpass map when the situation was 20-20 changed everything.
In the VP-TL match, they are facing each other as a rematch.VP won the first match 2-1.Now it is 1-1 in the Liquid-VP match. With Jame's extra performance, they brought the situation to a draw.Liquid plays better as a team, but the match is left to the decider map.The decider map is Vertigo and actually both teams have the same winning percentage, but it should not be forgotten that VP has more matches.

Tundra is the safer play for the next series, but I think it wouldn't hurt to go for over 2.5 because I view both teams at the same level.

My sweet spot would still love to go for OG though, kinda interesting to watch them play and continue this until the lower bracket final so Im going for them and apart of that the odds for Tundra moneyline and over 2.5 maps is pretty low so yeah. I got Tundra for BSFL though but not that it really matters anymore because Im going down to division 2  Roll Eyes

The last few matches of the ESL Pro League Season 18 Group D are happening this weekend, before the Playoffs start next week. There are going to be a lot of interesting matches this week with the big final coming next Sunday. The first match today is going to be 9INE vs Lynn Vision, I don't really know the Chinese teams that much so it's hard to bet on this match. The polish team 9INE looks stronger and could win the match but I am not going to place any bets here. Team Liquid vs Virtus.pro is a more interesting match and I know the teams much better. I am going with Virtus.pro for this match, they have the stronger team and two teams already played each other this week where Virtus.pro won 2-1. The last match of the day is going to be Cloud9 vs Eternal Fire, which is going to be another rematch of this week. The two teams played each other on Wednesday and Cloud9 won 2-0, they will likely do so again today. As expected G2 reached the upper bracket final and is going to play Complexity tomorrow. G2 is such a strong team that I don't see any chance for them losing this match. The two teams played each other during the Paris Major and G2 won comfortably and will likely do it again tomorrow.

Seems its upsets after upsets today in dream league,
First entity beat GG 2-1 by basically dominating all 3 maps early game,

Now OG beats 9pandas 2-0,
Gaimin Gladiator's loss was the biggest upset but props to Entity for playing well. During the third map, they always killed the supports and kited them during the team fights since they lacked disables.

The OG upset was a bit expected after 9pandas lost their form in the last two days of the group stages and OG's record in the group stage wasn't as bad when they snagged a map against every team aside from the Team Spirit.

Tundra is the safer play for the next series, but I think it wouldn't hurt to go for over 2.5 because I view both teams at the same level.

G2 dominated on Ancient, leaving VP with only 5 rounds. They have secured the playoff spot and will play the upper bracket final later this Sunday.

My EPL bets for today. Expecting VP to win against EF and Liquid to upset C9. If Complexity can do it, Liquid should too Cheesy

I knew that G2 would win the match on this map because G2 has a high winning percentage on Ancient.VP didn't have much match experience on this map so they had a hard time playing.
There is not much to say about the VP-EF match.EF players continue to play as if they lost the match when they lose a round. They need to put an end to this.I am not sure if TL can win the C9-TL match. You took a good risk.

EF did a really good job in the 9INE match. On the Anubis map, w0xic was unstoppable and carried the entire team. It was a very important victory, 2-0. I watched with great surprise as Cloud9 lost to Complexity. No one was expecting Complexity there. Eternal Fire lost 2-0 against VP, they were actually close matches, but VP is a very strong team, even though Eternal Fire had a good win yesterday, everyone knew that they did not have much chance against Virtus Pro. Now all that's left are the lower final and upper final stages.
EF was able to win the 9INE match with their stars playing well.Woxic played one of the matches where he found himself.Really winning this match made me feel that at least they will achieve something in this tournament.Complexity had a surprise win as you said.C9 has a good roster and I wouldn't expect them to lose to Complexity either.
I think EF is a team that has the power to beat VP, but tactically they are not successful at all. They make sudden and urgent decisions and make mistakes. This may be due to the IGL.

Well its certainly an upset when GG lost but overall they had a good run this entire year but at some point, all the other teams are improving at a pretty decent rate so at one point GG is going to be left behind but yeah this is an upset

As for OG, if you watch their game then you will notice that they were pretty good. Im not sure if MC is going to stay with OG in TI but obviously OG is now way better with him on the team so this is not an upset for sure

Next up is entity playing betboom, BB have looked pretty good this dreamleague but we can always expect them to lose the games that matter
I think entity at 2.7 odds is certainly a play

Well Betboom is definitely the better team so I wouldnt even sweat on taking Entity to win here

Team Liquid and GG being out, not sure if it's part of the plan or they were just really not that strong for the past tournaments as they need to have a long rest prior to their preparation of TI 2023.

I'm surprised too how poor Team Liquid and GG performance on this tournament. It looks like that they are not giving 100% of their game and hiding strategy on their sleeves that can be use on TI. But I doubt that they intentionally lose since Dreamleague prize pool is still decent while they can use this opportunity to train and experiment before the major event.
Yeah, they just wanna be out early on this DL since there's a priority that they need to keep their eyes on. The prize pool is still decent in this tournament but maybe they just don't wanna put out their strategies that are being hidden and reserved for the TI.

I believe many gambler lose bets on these 2 team since many expect them to play better due to their past tournament result.
Definitely.
They're a crowd favorite and they're known to be the best two teams always that end up in the finals. But this is an upset for those bettors that have believed on them and they just have to move on because this is normal in Dota 2 tournaments.
