Finally, another CSGO match! My picks for EPL S18 group A opening matches. I am betting on the favorites except on the FURIA vs Movistar. I am not convinced yet that this new lineup could compete in a top-tier tournament and there might be a chance for Movistar to take this.

I'm still struggling to win a bet, so i'll go with a single instead of a multi and take the over 2.5 between Entity vs. Luna Galaxy because I think this is a close match, given both teams are one series win away from qualifying for TI.

That is a fair odds for over 2.5 maps although I'm worried that 1 team will get sweep since the first team that will get first win will do their best to get the 2nd map to secure TI spot. This is the tricky part on the UB finals since the losing team will think that there's still a second chance on the lower bracket to get the 2nd TI spot.

Team Secret manage to win against lvlup after a 70+ minutes of lon farming game withe less kill. I'm looking forward for the potential rematch of Secret and OG if OG will beat Quest.

I really think that Entity will secure the first spot.

Germany and Denmark will face each other today in the IESF World Championship. Germany's squad will play against Astralis talent. I think Germany will easily beat the Astralis Talent squad, but I think Germany's squad will be stronger. Serbia-Ukraine, one of the other Quarterfinal matches, looks like a match that will be in the middle, but I expect Serbia to win. Serbia's roster is already old friends and they need to be more understanding. They know each other well and that's why they will win.
Sweden-Romania will also be very competitive but Romania seems to have a better squad. I am not sure but I expect Romania to win.

Okay, whats the deal with this ex D1 hustlers team huh. They keep on winning despite facing Quest Esport which supposed to be one of the top favourites to win TI slots. Im abit tempted to take them to win tomorrow against Entity, I think with some sheer of luck they could get the first slot though. Getting some new promising faces on TI this year seems great

Meanwhile OG won the 1st map against Alliance
Quest picked Lycan too early in map three and gave D1 Hustlers the option to counter him with Underlord's Atrophy aura and Luna Galaxy drafted good tanky heroes that became a meat shield for their Medusa.

OG was close to getting eliminated during the last map when they were feeding kills over Alliance in the early phase but they're lucky Alliance didn't constantly put on the pressure.

I also added Quest -1.5 in my bet since they've already beaten them in the previous Tour.

Though your OG bet is looking good. OG is destroying the Ancient Tribe. They have dominated the first map right from the draft and the lanes. They have snowballed and are now in a comfortable 17K gold lead. I do not think Ancient Alliance will be able to turn this around. They drafted very poorly and now OG is punishing them for that.
Those two games of OG and Ancient Tribe were like consolation for the OG, easy games to be honest.

Watching the qualifiers again on WEU with Team Secret and Entity. Entity has dominated the game one but it's a good match to watch. It's currently on game 2 and maybe Secret will recover and have their revenge game.

Luna Galaxy beat Quest Esports. LG is now in the finals of the upper bracket. Wow!

Nigma matches are complete stump. It is either they stump their opponents, or they get stumped. Unfortunately, they are now eliminated from the qualifiers. We will not see Kuroky play for TI this year. And unfortunately for your bet as well, they lost so you also lost your bet.

From looking promising during the BetBoom qualifiers to losing against one of the lowest-seeded teams. I almost got my hopes up but at least Alliance ended it early.  Tongue

OG with a clean 2-0 win against Ancient Tribe, and after that upset by Alliance, they now have the easiest path to the lower bracket finals, assuming Luna Galaxy will lose against Quest in the upper bracket.

We got some upper-bracket matches later today, and I have to side with Secret because i'm starting to think that their win is more impressive than Entity. I also added Quest -1.5 in my bet since they've already beaten them in the previous Tour.

I'm surprised to see Entity edge out Nigma with a reverse sweep win and Nigma looked underwhelming after game 1.

In the lower bracket series, I got Nigma and OG in a parlay @2.84 to sweep against their opponents. There's a big gap between these teams, and a 2-0 win should be the minimum against these underdogs if they plan to improve and potentially go on a deep run.

I want them to be better on the next map though. I bet on this series to reach the third map, so hopefully they will be able to regroup for the next map and force a third.

In the PARI Dunav Party tournament, we watched two Russian teams battle it out. Spirit struggled but managed to defeat Virtus Pro 2-1. Both teams won the maps they chose. I can say that Virtus Pro showed a tremendous CT performance especially on the overpass map of their choice. When the match went to the decider map, I expected VP to win. I thought they would play better since they gained psychological superiority, but it was not as I expected. We can say that donk from Spirit won the map for his team with a good performance.

My top WEU teams are Quest and Secret, albeit the former's chances somewhat lower since there are far better teams than them in this region.

Team Secret is not the same team a year ago. They are not that strong, and they seem to falter every time. Though they were able to drop OG and sweep them earlier, I am still not convinced they will be consistent. Even with Armel on the team now, they did not play that much together to have a strong chemistry. I think it the competition gets tougher; they will falter again. This might be the first time we will not see Puppey in TI. He was able to dodge that last year when they qualified through LCQ but it might be inevitable this year. We will see if they can get pass Entity in the next round. They will face each other in 2 days for the upper bracket semifinals.

This is me supporting a fellow SEA player and hoping that Secret pushes through and get Puppey to another TI. Though you are right, Team Secret is no longer that team that we previously know of. They are inconsistent and stable now, plus with the addition of a new player on the roster, the chemistry is not yet established even though they have played in scrims and practices.

Quest, on the other hand, I just like their play style and their hero picks. Pretty common across the board, but sometimes becomes explosive if left unchecked. I've been following Kaori's games for some time now and I can say that this man is capable of being a captain of a team of players with unharnessed potential.

Western Europe Qualifier will start tomorrow. This is a packed region so two slots are available for TI. It will be interesting who will win the slots since there are too many strong teams in this region. Below is the matches for tomorrow.

Finally the main highlights for the qualifiers.

Betting on two top teams on division 2, Im pretty confident with Lvl Up taking 2-0 but Nigma on the other hand is pretty much a biased bet for me. I watched their last game on the Betboom online qualifiers and I think both of these two teams fit in perfectly on mid tier list for division 1 so yeah I think both are going to win today

Unfortunately, Entity and Luna Galaxy have other plans for them. They dropped both your bet, Level Up and Nigma Galaxy to the lower bracket. They were good in their last tournament but I guess they are not good enough for the top team in WEU. They still have a chance though in the lower bracket.

I'll watch some Asian CSGO instead. Here we have the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Qualifier (5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2023). These BO1, pug-like games usually have a high chance of upset so I'm throwing some bets to the underdogs.
Welp, didn't work out. I'm going to continue betting on this event though, especially since one of the teams today (NKT) has one Indonesian player (BnTeT). It's going to be a tough match against The Mongolz but I'll root for him regardless Cheesy

On the higher-tier tournament today I'll bet on the Pari Dunav Party matches.

The Eastern Europe Qualifier seems to be easy for Virtus Pro, there's not that much competition for them there. It's only NaVi that have put stain on their record for beating them once.

But majority of their matches have been a sweep and in finals, it's 3-0 for them against One Move. Seems easy.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to them, they really dominated that region. It is good to see that they are back in TI.
They did and that's because some of their toughest possible competition and opponent were already qualified through DPC points. If it's not for the DPC points, they won't get in but they deserve to be in so again, they did well and good game to them and as well as One Move.

South America is about to end their Regional Qualifiers as well. It is now the Lower Bracket Semifinals between Thunder Awaken and Mad Kings. Mad Kings got the first win on the first map of their series. It was a long game because Thunder Awaken was able to give good defense and Mad Kings cannot attack the high ground. The second map will be interesting if Thunder Awaken is able to tie the series.

On the Lower Bracket finals, Acatsuki is already waiting. Acatsuki was dropped to lower bracket by Keyd Stars yesterday. Keyd Stars are already qualified for TI. Another slot is available for the winner of the Lower Bracket finals.
While for this region, Keyd Stars is already qualified so another congratulations to them. And for the other slot is being competed by Acatsuki and Thunder Awaken.

First win belongs to Thunder Awaken.

Would want for Quest to advance to at least the semi-finals and be matched with stronger teams. Also, Armel will be tested in this qualifiers and see whether he's really up to the standards of the WEU scene. He's got good game sense as a mid laner and has picked up more active heroes as of late.

My top WEU teams are Quest and Secret, albeit the former's chances somewhat lower since there are far better teams than them in this region.

ESL Pro League Season 18 is starting next week with Group A games on Wednesday.
Can't wait for EPL! This weekend we had no big CSGO event and it feels empty.

Vitality is directly playing again in the first round against Orks, a team that I am not really familiar with and I don't think there is any chance for Vitality to be losing the best of 3 match.
I would say Vitality should breeze past through their group. No real contenders there, the closest one being Astralis, which I think Vitality wouldn't have a hard time beating on a BO3. And maybe they'll face GamerLegion in the group upper final, but that should be an easy one too.

Due to the lack of tier-one events, I'll watch some Asian CSGO instead. Here we have the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Qualifier (5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2023). These BO1, pug-like games usually have a high chance of upset so I'm throwing some bets to the underdogs.

The EEU region TI12 qualifier is about to end within the next several hours. We're now at the semi-finals of it at the lower bracket, 1-1 is standing for NaVi and One Move. Whoever wins this series is going to advance from the waiting team in the finals which is the Virtus Pro.
After this final qualification for the EEU, tomorrow, we're going to see the start of the WEU and SEA region. Wooh, this is exciting and we're going to the last week of this TI12's qualification period.
