And in the last match NaVi vs Furia, I think that NaVi is going to win. Even with FalleN playing again I don't think the Brazilians are strong enough this year.
Can't take FURIA seriously again after the recent roster change, at least not in the tier 1 scene. They only won 1 match in Cologne play-in against Grayhound, and now have been struggling in the IEM Sydney Open Qualifiers. They lose to some random mix-team in the second open qualifier and don't even make it to RO-16. This new roster won't work sadly.

KSCERATO doesn't seem to be performing that well. I used to look up to this guy due to his insane clutches and entries. Art doesn't seem to be doing well either - well basically all of them. They struggle to find some good mid round calls and their strats seem to be so simple that it's easy for randoms to break them down. I'm not counting them out, they just have to find their groove and their coordination with each other.

or probably they could just omit that last spot off as it wont really make any changes at all. Pretty sure that the qualified team from WEU wont be coming from division 2 or lower though. It just wont make any sense if it happens
It looks like they've withdrawn Old G's spot on the WEU qualifier now that the page got updated and they're removed from the list of participants.

OldG got disqualified because they are def lose against Packchump to secure spot on Div 1. It's just a shame that their spread there roster to stand-in for teams on Major Tournament while they abandoned their own tournament that is crucial for their spot for their TI qualifier tournament.

Although their spot doesn't matter anymore since Ceb and Kitrak is already playing for the original OG team on the qualifier. Quest Esports and Entity are my top 2 teams that I preferred to get the spot instead of the current OG which the current roster is just temporary.

Lots of team has lack of players. Does this mean that there’s a shortage for pro player?

I'm continuing my LoL action with a live bet on the over 4.5 @1.85 now that the LCK upper bracket match between Gen G and T1 is currently at 1-1 and they're in the drafting phase of game 3. I expect it'll go the distance after T1 stole the second map away from Gen G.

Honestly , it was in vain for OLD G to keep pumping money into the team after they failed to remain in DIV 2 where they purchased a slot from puckchamp right ? If that didn't secure them a future , it was clearly that they will head towards disband.

Lately, I've been trying to understand LOL better when it comes to competitive as the game itself when I play it , seems pretty easy but as soon as I watch a competitive game , everything becomes difficult if I want to bet.  Grin

Should be easy for Navi in the opening round of Gamers8, that 1.4 odds looks interesting.

After G2 winning IEM Cologne last Sunday I am really hyped for the next big CSGO tournament. On Wednesday a short tournament with all the top teams is happening in Saudi Arabia. Gamers8 with a prize pool of 1m is being played with 16 teams and the grand final is already on Sunday, some decent matches are coming up. The first match will be Apeks vs GamerLegion, where I am going with GamerLegion even though they are the underdog. The team played quite well in their last tournaments even beating Heroic in Paris. Cloud9 vs fnatic should be a clear win for Cloud9, even though they lost in the last tournament 2-1 against fnatic I think that they will come back stronger this time. The match of Heroic vs Flacons is probably the most one-sided match of the day and I don't see any chance of Falcons winning this one. The team doesn't have much experience playing against the Top CSGO clans in the world and will probably get knocked out very early. Vitality vs MIBR is going to be very similar, the Brazilians have a very new team that is not so used to be playing on such high levels and don't have a chance. The match Liquid vs ENCE is going to be much closer, but with reaching 2nd in Cologne I think ENCE is taking that one home. And in the last match NaVi vs Furia, I think that NaVi is going to win. Even with FalleN playing again I don't think the Brazilians are strong enough this year.

I wonder who will be taking Old G's slot now because it seems the team is about to be abandoned after OG announced Kitrak as their position 5 support.

Could be open qualifier or some sort for the rest of the WEU team that is not on the last division 2 DPC or probably they could just omit that last spot off as it wont really make any changes at all. Pretty sure that the qualified team from WEU wont be coming from division 2 or lower though. It just wont make any sense if it happens

Kinda biased bet from me to take Nigma because Nemiga is way better than them and Im not sure if Alliance will be able to win as well. I normally would bet against Alliance but their last game really impressed me

The Noone move by SMG was announced as well and the other notable roster change is Quest Esports taking in Tobi as their new offlaner. This decreases Quest's chances of qualifying for TI, as I think Tobi is a downgrade to Ammar but he's still good enough to fill the role.

Yesterday, there was a rumor about Topson possibly playing for Tundra because of Nine pub games where he's mostly been playing the position 4 role and it makes sense when we saw Saksa missed the last two or three tournaments.
This is a monter line-up if this true. Nine is a very success pful mid laner that dominate most of their matches. Stepping down to pos 4 will give him a better insight on how to properly support midlaner since that is his forte. Both Godson and Nine is a high level player with unorthodox game style.

If this line-up come through and they sync properly. I think they might have a chance to properly defend their title because we all knew how bad Tundra now without Saksa missing most of there matches.

Saksa is one of the anchors of Tundra, and without him, they're basically not the same team as they aren't as aggressive without the guy. Topson might be a good addition to the core lineup, although they will have to delegate the roles properly to make sure that everyone functions at their 100% capacity. They basically just lost a good support with Saksa being unable to play, and with skiter possibly being the 4 support (not confirmed yet) to give way to Topson taking the mid role and Nine transferring to a carry position.

I doubt it will be hard for them to figure things out, although it should still be a shaky lineup on their first few games for sure.

AFAIK, Nine will be the one to step down to support role since he was practicing a lot on pub games with support heroes. Topson is a midlaner same as him so the transition will be smooth if Nine will be comfortable and sync as pos 4.

I doubt Skitter will get pos 4 position since he is still good as pos1 and he is still on his prime. Tundra is just missing supports which is the reason why Skitter don’t perform well due to lack of space.

Also, Topson stood in for Tundra in one of their series back then, so the transition should be smooth between him and the team. And Nine should be fine with the role switch as he's one of the players that can still be effective without soaking up much farm in the map.

According to the team rankings updated 2 days ago, Astralis moved up 4 places to 6th place. NaVi, on the other hand, moved up 7 places to 9th. I have no doubt that NaVi and Astralis will achieve better rankings with time. Both teams are rebuilding and they need time.
There's Cloud9 too, they went up 5 spots in the rankings and there's potential for them to improve together with the other teams.

G2, on the other hand, moved up 1 place to 3rd after their recent win at IEM Cologne. It was also a tournament they won after a long time. NiKo was named MVP in a tournament again after almost 4 years.

Noone is gonna play in the SEA, with Team SMG. I think this is the first time that he'll play for the SEA region and this is to be expected that a team will take him when the situation and status of the Old G is unstable. I am expecting that Topson will also be taken somewhere else but no longer with a SEA team as he has got a bad experience with T1 before.

And with an update which is still a rumor, this is for the pubs, no more destroying of items. Or, it's still allowed for players to destroy items but you'll get punished like being banned for matchmaking with 4 hours and 1 single draft game. No more Quinn tilting I guess?  Grin
That's a good carry upgrade for Team SMG, and I hope they perform well because I could see them making it in the finals if they have the same form during Tour 2 where they finished in third.
What I am thinking on this one is that SEA is only going to have one slot for the TI. It's like being the best of the best will actually get that slot, Valve was too strict on these DPC points and regionals. But that's what rules are for.

While the other regions have been packed with slots those that has fulfilled it with the DPC points and then they still have the regional slots. This is where I'm half on it, in favor and seeing its goodness but also feeling bad for other regions.

That's really pushing them to upgrade their game whether it's with the meta or not.

I also heard the rumors, but it might be in the testing phase because there's no official announcement and only a few players are receiving the punishment.
The new patch has been dropped but regarding this, I haven't see any announcement and update.

I am again interested in the MPL championship and there are two championships which are MPL Brazil season 5 and also MPL Indonesia season 12.
For the Brazilian MPL, unfortunately, the new match will be held again next Saturday, but for the Indonesian MPL, this Thursday there will be a match between Alter Ego vs Dewa United.

From the previous match Dewa United had pretty good players and a capable game strategy and in this match I think that Dewa United can still win.

By the way, is anyone still betting and following developments on the MPL championship?

More league betting with the LCK playoffs between T1 and DK. The odds favor T1 now that Faker is back and their regular season record is slightly misleading because he was injured in the second half of the season. I'll take the over 3.5 @1.32 as I think it's the best bet because even though I don't trust both teams, I still see the series ending 3-1 at the minimum.

So he literally choose to participate in SEA qualifiers instead huh but kinda understandable considering that the competition in WEU is way harder compared to SEA but honestly its still a slim chances for SMG to actually qualify

Fancy betting on the online tournament? picking VP -1.5 over Alliance. I simply have deep hate to Alliance and I dont think they will win anything so my pick is abit biased  Smiley

I got three units on WBG @1.40 they'll face EDG in the Regional finals for a chance to take the fourth spot for the Worlds 2023. I see some value on EDG's odds as I think they can push the series to the distance but i'm riding with WBG because their lineup is too stacked.

G2 is the champion of IEM Cologne. After defeating their opponent ENCE 3-1 in the final, G2 became the winner of the last IEM tournament. The first map was nuke, which ENCE chose. We can say that ENCE, who could not show much presence here, was defeated. G2 won the map with an obvious game. Everyone was good as a team. When we look at the scores in general, we can see that NiKo and mONESY carried the team and both of them got over 90 kills in 4 maps. NiKo was the MVP. There was not much difference between him and mONESY, but he managed to win with a 0.01 rating difference.
