Talon seems the best team in Dota 2 right now even if Spirit showed some class again but the way Talon have played against GG was simply amazing and the confidence they currently have in drafting and team fights will most likely make them defeat Liquid as well and move in grand finals to face Spirit.  Grin Game is about to begin in about 1 hour from now and Liquid still has the first chance...after that rat dota style from Zai but I doubt Talon will fall for the same mistake again. Wink

Liquid already got 1 win against Talon. I didn't watch game 1 because it's too short and it was finish while I'm still just placing bet. Talon is really strong but I'm feeling that Liquid will try to dominate them hard now to have a convincing win and erase the doubt on their previous win against Talon.

Reverse sweep is still possible since Team Spirit did the same on Liquid on the Upper Bracket finals.   I still really feel that Talon can reverse sweep this because Liquid has a high tendency of choking whenever they are new to grand finals victory.

Without any doubts , yesterday was one of the best days of Dota2 this year and the fact that Talon lost in that way really made me sad because that team deserves to win a Major man...they really do. For Liquid , what can you say? the luck was with them on that throne vs throne match up.

Talon deserves the loss yesterday because they let their defense off guard even though the throne is not yet finished while there’s still enemy team alive. 23Savage is already jumping away from his PC on the behind the scene photo after they kill the 2 core hero of Liquid. This explains a lot why they didn’t notice that Zai is destroying their ancient while Liquid throne is on glyphs of fortification.

Talon is a good team but a mistake like this cost them a lot for securing much higher reward. Now they will need to compete on GG or 9Panda which is a very tough enemy to deal with.

I didn't watch the live game but watching the replay makes me get why they are excited. They finally close the game by killing the enemy hitters while they have complete heroes with expose throne. That moment is indeed a GG call game if zai didn't think that sneaky ancient segway. Emotion is very high on competitive scene like this.

Try to watch this, this is the meme right now in the dota 2 community, actually savage doing right there is to make a simple trash-talk to make a hype wit their team but the mistake right here is he made a TP in the ancient and they don't know that the rubick stole a good avalanche that make them cancel the 2 tp of tiny and morp, Zai make a really good move because he rat the throne, the mistake right here is 23Savage didn't make a bkb first before TP reason to cancel, this serves a lesson now to Talon to have an early celebration. Many memes shows up a picture before the disaster.

Do you see guys what I am seeing right now? Talon is on the lead and destroyed all of the barracks of GG (mega creeps).

9-29 in favor of Talon for the kill/death. The game hasn't ended yet but the lead is on the Talon on this game 3.

For the very first time, there's going to be an elimination for the GG and they're going to be out of the tournament if ever they will lose against Talon.

Edit: Oh, they called it GG. WP for Talon!

Talon is just the better team on that game 3. They chained their skills perfectly that even naturally elusive heroes like Storm and Morphling didn't stand a chance. Dark Seer and CW just destroyed the safelane pretty heavily, and 23 savage with Oli also decimated the top lane with their aggressive laning phase.

Even if GG is out, that's still a huge money to be had.

It is a perfect game for Talon. They have tons of disable in that map that they are able to kill Storm because they are layering their stuns perfectly. They are active on the map and every rotation they make always ends up a kill on a core of Gaimin Gladiators. Once I saw that, I know that it is already a good game for Gaimin Gladiators. They have no answer to the good plays that 23savage is doing.

Talon is really doing really well in Riyadh Masters.  They are now assured of $1.7 million. The next stop is against Team Liquid in about 3 hours.

This is a rematch of their upper-bracket match. In that match, Talon almost got the win against Team Liquid when they won the last team clash, but they failed to see that Zai was destroying their base. It turned into a base race but Broodmother is really fast in destroying buildings. 23Savage was emotionally destroyed after that especially since he celebrated too early in that map. It is now his chance to return the favor to Team Liquid. With how perfect they are playing; they have a chance to take the series away from Team Liquid and move on to the Finals against Team Spirit.

I am hoping the same thing will happen in this series. It will be a close series and no one will back down. Hopefully, this one will also be a full 3 maps, so I am betting on over 2.5 maps.

I really do not know which team will win the lower bracket finals since they are equally matched. I really think the upper-bracket series these two teams had could go either way. I think it is safer to bet on over than on the match winner. But I hope Talon gets the win. We already saw that Team Spirit can beat Team Liquid easily. So maybe Talon will give us a better Finals matchup against Team Spirit. I think this is the farthest I have seen them in a tournament so I wish they could go all the way to the finals.

I think Team Liquid is on different level right now on this tournament. They drastically improved their team fight and they have better item choices on their match against Team Spirit. Yatoro Naga is really strong and annoying on the game 1 but Team Liquid stay cool to make them focus to their goal despite the pressure coming from Yatoro illusion all over their base while Liquid is doing team fight.

And now the game is even, Yatoro finally gave liquid a strong finish with his Slark. Liquid mistake on the portal just to get Rosh cause them to loss the game because they gave too much stacks attribute to Slark when they teleport 1 by 1 and still continue the team fight even they are out position.

They should just give up the rosh that time when techies got first killed yet they still continue the teleport for the clash. Liquid starting to crumble here against TS.

I though Liquid got this yet they seems out of focus after they game 2 lose which makes them unable to recover for game 3. Lower Bracket is very bad spot for them because of GG/Talon that is too strong because of the momentum. They barely defeat both GG and Talon on upper bracket so I'm sure that whoever they fight will be eager to revenge against them. Team Spirit is so strong on this tournament.

Zai clutch arena and Nisha super tanky DK makes liquid unkillable despite TS hava good setup for the team fight.

Whilst, 9Pandas are out together with its co-EEU team BetBoom. Both of these teams will take home $800k. Still not bad for that placing.

Well its not bad for 9 pandas because I do know that they are not really capable of advancing further thus winning $800k is so much better for them, in this case its 4x of winning the 1st prize in Major.
They've got the prize and at the same time, they're secured in the TI. So, that means money everywhere for them but it's a good motivation that they must do better in TI for a higher prize money.

As for BB, too bad though as I thought they are the only capable team of winning against GG but I guess GG is going to sweep this tournament too by winning the 1st spot
Many of us thought that they'll be the one to beat GG because no doubt that BB is a strong team and one of the contenders there. On how thrilling they are especially on what went with the Bali major.

Still, all good for these teams and they've got more time in preparation and relaxation before the TI comes.

Anyone fancy taking GG -1.5 against Talon? or over 2.5 maps on Liquid vs Team Spirit

Now , I love Talon and 23savage but I think 9Pandas with Kyotaka Invoker have a great combo and synergy against GG and their medusa so I do hope 9pandas will win and face them later on today because GG must be eliminated as I don't want see watch another Liquid vs GG final because we already had 3 this year. Welp, Talon Esports just swept 9Pandas, ez 2-0 for them. So, it's going to be Talon and GG later on. While waiting for that game, we've got also interesting match up coming. Team Liquid and Team Spirit.

I just hope when the match of GG and Talon comes, it's going to be that close against Team Liquid and great performance on how they did against 9Pandas.

Gaiming Gladiators simply cannot lose in Dota 2 ...I simply cannot believe it that they didn't lose against Tundra , then they got luck with Quest in first map when the power went off and last night they had mega luck against BetBoom who had weird drafts in both map 2 and 3 and that lost them the game and made GG advance in top 4 with them playing again today vs winner of Talon-9Pandas.

This weekend the games of the group stage of IEM Cologne 2023 are happening with a lot of exciting games coming up. The weather has been so terrible the last week that it's nice to have at least some CSGO games to watch while staying at home during the summer. In the first match Cloud9 is playing against fnatic, which should be a good win for the Russian team. GamerLegion vs Monte I won’t be betting on as I don't know these two teams very well. In the match of G2 vs Astralis, I am going with G2 as they are still one of the strongest teams in the world, even after not performing so well in the Blast Premier tournament. The most one-sided match of the day will be Heroic playing against TheMongolz, which offers almost no return to bet on the match. Tomorrow the two top teams are playing and should offer a clear win to bet on. First Vitality is up against OG, where I don't see any chance Vitality losing. And then FaZe is playing vs NiP, which is FaZe going to take home without difficulties.

IEM Cologne 2023 starts today. For the opening matches, I'm betting on some underdogs, e.g. GamerLegion and Fnatic. For the Fnatic vs Cloud9 match, I think 2.6 odds for Fnatic is very interesting, considering their performance in the play-in stage and Cloud9 is playing with a substitute. I know the addition of Perfecto and Electronic could add to their firepower but this will be their first map together.

For the rest of the matches, I'm going with the favorites.

Well the result wouldnt change even if he hadnt remove his hand from his keyboard.
I disagree, it's possible that the result will change if he just focused on the objective of destroying the throne instead of being too excited and happy when the match hasn't ended yet. The focus on mind during a game is important and for sure if he wasn't cheering that early, he would have noticed the bottom lane was getting through by the creeps.

Alot of people seems to be upset about this while in fact this chanes nothing, Liquid was always the better team so this is kinda weird when most bettors then to blame him for not paying any attention because in this case, I think Zai was brilliant enough to pull this off
Zai was too humble to say that they've lost on that match particularly if it's a toe-to-toe match. But it's still a game the other side has to destroy the throne and world tree and Zai just ended it that way.

What a terrible mistake made by 23savage and his teammates. Too many wasted time by just doing an objective of ending the game. They didn't saw that coming.

Zai, just took advantage of that moment and he did ended up the game swiftly. While his supports did everything they can to stopped any response from them.

They have cancelled the TP of 23savage going back to the base. He celebrated too early and thought that they've got already to secure third place with $1.2M but no.

Liquid is the biggest surprise so far in IEM Cologne Play-in brackets. Because first they lost to Astralis. After that we saw them defeating BIG in Lower Round 1. But in the last lower round they lost to 9INE by 2-1. We are talking about a 1 million-dollar tournament and Liquid can't go there because of losing against a worse team than themselves.

They played the decider on Overpass which wasn't a map they were very successful on though. But still I believed in them to make it against 9INE. YEKINDAR couldn't take enough responsibility on this map to carry his team to the main tournament.

It wasn't even one of his best days either because his general performance on all maps wasn't good enough.

Exciting match ahead on the lower bracket. Talon vs 9Panda & GG vs BB! I'm betting that both this match will result to over 2.5 games since this 4 teams are very strong and has a close match during group stage. But if ever I will choose a match winner pick then I will go for GG and Talon to win their respective match since they have the best overall performance based on their recent match on this playoffs.

I'm excited on the BB and GG match up because this 2 teams is very close in terms draft and team fight strategy.
