It looks like NaVi have decided to bench npl after an inadequate level of performance. You know he was replaced by sdy temporarily. But his rating during his time here was really low. I don't know if he is the main problem behind the unsuccessful run now but I also think they should sign a better player quickly. Since Boombl4's departure NaVi have been experiencing serious issues with filling his place with the right player. He was the IGL of the team in the end and this role is very important for success.

NaVi's last championship was in PGL Major Stockholm 2021. They haven't been able to win any titles since then and this is serious for a big team like them.
I don't think npl is the main problem, but of course a better player can be transferred to replace npl. There are obviously some mismatches in the team and I give it to the ego war between them.S1mple is a really good player, but I think he sometimes reflects it badly on his teammates. Of course we don't know exactly what's going on behind the scenes, but that's my opinion.NaVi's roster is still top notch, but they don't have the igl to provide enough frag contribution.I'm in favor of transferring hobb1t from C9.It will definitely be a plus for them.

I am also preferring Team Spirit to GG. GG are playing quite bad at the moment and Team Spirit to take one map is almost free money in my opinion. I am taking that on my main multi ticket and adding a single Team Spirit to win 2:1 just for fun.

9 Pandas and Talon is over 2.5 maps for me. Good odds and I really don't know who wins this one.

At Dota2 Dreamhack there are two matches that interest me to bet on them even though they are risky but they seem to give a decent chance of winning.
Team Spirit vs GG
9 Pandas vs Talon Esports
I took the win for GG and Talon by doing a multi bet.

Isn't 9 Pandas way stronger than Talon right now? The odds are somewhat tricky to decide on, and 2.35 is a huge odd to pass on. If I were you, I wouldn't really add this match to any multi bet, and I would do singles and bet for Talon just to be safe. The first one you already have on the leg is relatively safe however 9 Pandas is just playing quite well right now that I am having doubts on how well Talon can go against them.

Not really, there are still a lot of interest for Dota 2 and that is because we've got two threads for esports and the other folks have been posting also there so, maybe the other one is more active than this.
Dota 2 is still enjoyed by a lot of users here and many gamblers who are also members of the forum bet on Dota 2 matches.
It is true that there are two threads here but I think this is the only thread that forum users are most interested in and this thread is more active on compare with the other thread.
Both are active and wherever you post, as long as the discussions are all about Dota 2 or any other esports that's totally fine.

One of the of the end of the esports thread for Dota 2 discussion is not very active because Dota 2 matches have a few days gap in each match.
I'm sure that soon when the TI Dota 2 tournament starts, the discussion thread will be very active again every day.
Yeah, that's what will happen when the TI has come or even the Bali majors have been on the schedule. But that's still a few months away and there's still some interesting LAN tournaments that are not DPC that's about to come because they're interesting due to the prize pool that it's about to give and one is Riyadh masters.

Anyway today is still another break even for me but yeah atleast Im not losing money so I could save some up onto the playoff but I got another single on NGX -1.5 and its looking pretty good right now as they have won the 1st map

When I thought I had this one in bag and I might get some good profit from this, NGX ended up pretty dissapointing on the 2nd map.  Roll Eyes I guess I dont have any luck with NGX recently as I have been losing for quite a while everytime I bet on them ( or against them )

That is true, many have become busy with their real-world lives and that's why a lot of people in our friend's lists are no longer active. That's a sad thing about playing Dota 2 but looking at events, they're keep going and tournaments after tournaments again and we're on the last few of it before the grandest Dota 2 event, TI.

Time flies so fast mate. I felt like I just graduated a few years ago. Me and my closest college friends of around 30 have a group chat to connect to each other. We used to play DOTA even until dawn but now there are only 3 that are playing actively. But yeah, we are also excited about every majors and TIs and sometimes plan on watching it live as well.
That's what true life really is. We've been once active with our closest friends, college friends, online friends and even with random strangers that we meet in-game and adds us as a friend.

This DreamLeague has been a burner for me as 90% of my bets ended up with a loss even if I had some great games catching x9 odds and so on but in the end , I got burned and it's no the meta , it's the players and some teams who are really hiding strategies or some of them , already being qualified for TI , they won't shop up with all potential ( ex : Liquid ) and that makes betting in DreamLeague super unpredictable.

Now , with Groupstage phase2 and with Bo3 games incoming , we might have a full series of quick 2-0 because most of the games from Phase 1 groups were 1-1. Smiley
I can't blame you for being disappointed with the results. That's what everyone is noticing on this Dream League because it's like an unimportant tournament for those teams that are looking forward to the Bali major up to the upcoming The International. On this group stage 2, there will be no more ties as all matches are a best of 3 series starting within the next several hours.

The new season in TCL has finally started. I was quite excited about the changes in SuperMassive roster. Because only Serin has remained from the old roster and the rest of the players have been replaced. I know especially Armut and Zeitnot very well as Armut is a really decent top laner while Zeitnot is a dominating bottom laner. Chieftain (jungler) and Reble (support) are other new transfers also.

I started to get quite expectant from this team in TCL of course. But the most important question was whether they would get used to play in coherence as a team quickly. But I'm afraid they have made a terrible start. First the destruction by NASR Esports and today the loss against the last champion Istanbul Wildcats. They need to work harder to have a stronger team composition or this change won't mean anything for this season at least.

The current standings:

I remember before the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a stat saying the number of DOTA players is declining and it probably continued in the last few years. Maybe some of us became busy with our careers and are having families now. I myself just like most of my DOTA friends since college aren't that active anymore as well. Although I am still tracking the happenings, especially TI and its majors. And until now it is one of my goals to attend a major or a TI.

This ongoing tournament is not a major which is why some are not interested. The prize pool though is twice as big as the majors so this should be an interesting one. And most top teams in the world are also the ones competing.
Also, many teams now have been eliminated from the Dream League Season 20 and most of those are gonna participate in the Bali major. But whoever gets first and second on this will get a direct invite to a bigger cash tournament, Riyadh Masters.

It's unlucky though that some players and a team were not able to compete. Riyadh Masters indeed has a whooping huge prize pool. Not surprising for a country that offered Messi $1.6 billion for a 3-year contract.

Yesterday was a bit weaker day for draws then day before but I had a bit more luck so that means much higher profits. In addition to playing those singles I always play a multi or two and while big one the other day failed this one made me happy enough.

This is amazing actually, I wouldnt even consider parlaying 4 acca with draw selections in it.

There is not many sports left to be played this summer so I'm switching to the esport I'm looking at LoL and EU scene LEC. I'm from EU so I'm familiar with them. I see Fnatic like a possible upset this season in LEC, beside that G2 is looking strong like always.
This is the end of the season so many sports are over and waiting for the start of the season to start some sports events to take place.
Esport is the choice of some gamblers for them to keep betting on, after all, Esport can still be relied on to bet on.
Plus we are only waiting a matter of months for the TI Dota 2 tournament.

There will be no more tournaments this month, at least we can say that there will not be a quality tournament in terms of viewership and teams.
In July, 2 tournaments will be waiting for us, one will be Blast Premier fall groups and the other will be the IEM Cologne tournament.
When we look at the news, we see that there are some changes in NiP.AleksiB was benched and hampus rejoined the team after a long break.I think the team's performance will increase even more with this development.

Speaking of DOTA events. Tomorrow is the start of DreamLeague Season 20 in Stockholm, Sweden.

I guess most bitcointalk folks isnt really interested with Dota anymore . Normally we would have plenty of conversations regarding this but it seems abit different as no one really mention about this in this thread

Anyway, small tips from me if you are betting on this. Draw seems like the best option so far as alot of teams are getting draws since yesterday so goodluck guys  Smiley

Draw is usually the outcome of this best of two games. Also depends on the teams that are playing - if the other one has been performing quite well recently, I might bet on that team though again, that's still a coin toss basically.
I am jumping on that train today. No analysis just singles on draw in every match, I need half of them to pass to break even with small profits and everything better than that will make me happy. I had a ticket yesterday for 5$ on 8 draws, almost 3.5k $ and of course missed only one, damn you Entity  Grin

Let's start with 3/4 in early games and then I am going even bigger in each consequent round Smiley

So I picked several games that ended up with 2-0 instead of 1-1 but overall Im above break even with a small profit but yeah its pretty exciting experience on betting like this

The odds for draws are mostly over 2x so yeah it should be profitable if someone actually take single draw on all games today

If we consider that last game of 9panda and SR to be another 2-0 then we will have 10 draws and 6 wins which is profitable even if we consider the odds for all the draws to be exactly at 2.0x
