Ethereum is clearly better than Waves. However both platforms have a lot of common features. But looking to the value of coins and the usability of both platforms we can notice easily that Ethereum coin and platform is really better than waves, it is more valuable and more used by ICO devs and investors.
Both are very good coin both have great technology and both Blockchains are used by new upcoming coins so both futures look very bright so I will recommend you to divide your investment in both of them and enjoy the profit from both.
I do not like wavesi at all. Even with the ethereum waves can not be compared. the waves are a very bad coin. Do not invest because it is not as robust as ethereum and has good technology.

I think its better to find any another altcoin that these two, because Ethereum market cap is too high and Waves has not small cap its better to find any other alt with low market cap and with bright future.

I can say that soon the Etherium will be pushed out of the market by other block chains using a smart contract. Ethereum is overrated and has problems with scalability
I don’t think ethereum will be pushed out still ethereum one of the best blockchain solution in cryptoworld but neo already making promising by including POS concept. Waves still undervalued it’s giving complete solution including mobile app . No other platform having this much ability’s.
I see no reason to sell eth and buy Waves. Waves is a bad investment. It is better to hold eth.
ETH is extremelly good investment for long term, you should hold. However, if you want to get benefit by trading you could sell ETH and buy Waves and you must sell Waves when you find chance to get more benefit.

if i have 3ETH, i will hold it. or invest in coins / altcoin other than waves. because waves the development is less good in my opinion.
waves recently mentioned the name on the market of crypto currencies. maybe in good places in the future but not comparable to ethereum at the moment

With that logic, no one can beat Ethereum. I belive their targets and communities different and there is more than enough space for both and others.
