I think it is safe to hold in the short-medium term. They will release casper and the price will shoot back up to where it belongs for now. I am a little unsure of long term predictions because I feel other blockchain project will steal a little of it thunder

What do you mean destruction of ETH? ETH just like the other coins are just making downward movement because the market is red. It does not mean that when the market is red it is also the destruction of a particular coin. Just because many investors are ethereum traders and holders and lose huge amount they will say ethereum is dead? I believe it will be making its rebound when the market turns green.
I prefer to hold not only ethereum,but each altcoin ,now i notice a reversal pattern on charts,so my goal is catching this upcoming bull run

ETH is very good coin. Don't sale your ETH to lookin red market.I think all ICO are not dead you can invest on ICO but looking careful about the project. ETH has big market cap after bitcoin. You should keep patient and wait.

Present market disappointed us but it’s normal in crypto currencies world because of fluctuating the price. People get frustrate it’s the way to people forced into panic sales so that those who are controlling ETH will buy at low price. So you have to be smart and patient enough to hold. If bitcoin price go uptrend then others Altcoin including ETH price will be uptrend, because there is a connection between bitcoin and others coin. Holding ETH is the right decision.
