I believe that you should never choose between ETH and altcoins. If you want to be in profit, it is always necessary to diversify your crypto portfolio. Therefore, do not choose only ETH, buy various altcoins with it and do not forget, of course, about bitcoin as the main investment.

Isn't Ethereum an altcoin? I think you should invest in many different coins and Ethereum too. To keep Ethereum because it falls less is not logical. Ethereum fell more than 10 times last year.

Investing in ETH or altcoin has different advantages and disadvantages. ETH can bring stability but profits are not great. altcoin can bring you great profit but the risk is also very high. In my opinion, you should break down your own investments, maybe 50% for ETH and 50% for altcoin. 
i think investing in useful and good altprojects is more profitable in the long term than investing in ethereum this is my personal opinion not financial advice good luck for all

Well, it looks exactly the same as other coins in a bearish trend , fork did not particularly affect the price of Ethereum , and I doubt that this year will have a coin growth!

Ethereum is currently very popular compared to other altcoins but there are many other altcoins that will give you profits not only for ETH. I prefer other altcoins, I don't only hold one coin but some altcoins like EOS, XRP, and Doge. Choose the altcoin that is in the top marketcap.

I hold ethereum and I'm going to say that it's my better altcoin than others.I'll hold it until seeing the prices at the best state but for now, I'm good at holding it while the price keeps on dropping and moving sidewards.
